Get Excel To Show Minutes 00?

Columns H and L have minutes. Currently, the formatting is Custom with 0#
Works fine if the minutes are like 06 or 43
Problem: 00
Excel is showing a single zero.
How can I get this to show the double zeros?

I have the foollowing equation in a cell:
=NETWORKDAYS(A2,A12)+G12
My answer is 1081:23:42.
Is there a way to have it show the number of days, hours, minutes and seconds? So it will say 45:1:23:42? (45 days, 1 hour, etc...) Or something along these lines?

Cell B1 - 14th May 2007 14:30
or should I put the dates and times in seperate cells? I would like the answer to show 42 hours 30 minutes

I have a spread sheet with a colum showing average time to complete a task. This is currently shown as Days:Hours:Minutes:Seconds (4:19:33:19). I meed it to be shown purely as minutes, or at least as hours and minutes.

I'm trying to convert 3786 minutes to day:hours:minutes. So divided it by 1440 which is 2.63... but I want this displayed in the worksheet as 2 days 1 hour and 3 minutes (02:01:03), I just can't seem to get it to work and it seems quite simple... but I'm missing something.... I was trying a custom format like dd:hh:mm or [d]:hh:mm and I was also trying a convert function and =day/1440+hour +minute

I have a sheet where staff enter the time it takes to do a task. I'm using a custom format of [mm]:ss. However, I enter (for instance) 5 into the cell, the value becomes 7200:00. I finally figured out that this is because that is the number of minutes in 5 days. However, I don't want staff to have to enter 00:05:00 to indicate they worked for 5 minutes. I would rather them be able to enter something like 5:30 (or something along those lines) to indicate this took 5 minutes and 30 seconds.

I am 2007 Excel user.
I am attempting to take a large data download of time in hours and minutes and average or get the sum. Each cell contains hours and minutes in this format:
203:30 (meaning 203 hours and 30 minutes)
196:05
72:22
6:55
I have formatted the column in everyway I can think of from custom hh:mm to time, to scientific--I have grasped at each straw I have used the TRIM function to ensure there is no leading space. When I attempt to average I receive the #DIV/0! error, and when I attempt to use SUM, I get a dash (-).
I have been researching this on the internet, and have tried everything that is slightly applicable, with no luck yet. I am wondering if it is because the hours are more than 24, so the hh:mm format does not truly apply...

I am trying to take scheduled start time and scheduled duration in h:mm and auto populate the scheduled minutes in the corresponding time blocks.
Example:
Schedule ID
Start Time
Duration

[Code] ....
The first 3 columns are derived from a data table and I am trying to auto populate the minutes scheduled in the time blocks using conditional formatting or some other mechanism.

I have a spreadsheet that contains per minute data for the whole year. There are no gaps in data and it is complete with various values being zero. I cannot work out how to reduce the data into 30 minutes interval. I have tried to use Pivot Tables and grouping functions but it can give me daily data or hourly data but not per 30 minutes or 15 minutes of data.
What step I can follow to reduce the per minute data to 15 minute or 30 minute data.
Format of excel sheet is as below:

I have this excel that look like this:
A1, B1, C1 contains an image with the numer 1, 2 and 3.
D1 is a cell where you can put only the number 1 2 and 3 (alert if you insert something else)
E1 have to contain the number in the D1 written with letters (I did this with the formula: =IF(D1=1;"One";IF(D1=2;"Two";IF(D1=3;"Three";"Wrong Imput")))
F1 have to contain the image from the A1, B1, C1 corresponding to the number in D1
Now, how do I do this ? I read an article here, on this forum, about doing this. I know how to copy an image from A1, B1, C1 in F1, but I don't know how to make a formula to do this.
To copy an image from A1, B1, C1 I do this:
- I copy the cell (F1)
- I hold Shift key
- I go to Start -> Paste -> Click the little arrow -> Last option (Translated from my language I think It's Linked Image) -> I switch the formula in that cell to =A1 or =B1 or =C1 -> The image appears.
I really want to know how to do that thing. I saw that you can not use an IF formula in the linked image cell so I need another option.
By the way, I attached the excel. If you will open it, go to Item2 Spreadsheet. I'm using Excel 2010 now.

I have a spreadsheet where users can enter a time using the 24 hour clock - these times are random and can be anything within the 24 hour period.
I want to create a chart or graph that has a timeline of 24 hours, (in multiples of 1 hour starting at 07:00 and going right through to 06:00), and I need the times entered by the users to appear on the chart to give an overview of when these incidents are happening most.
I was thinking that the cluster or scatter chart might work but I can't figure it out. I don't actually need both X and Y Axis, just a timeline - is it possible?

A2 has formula =MONTH($B$4) which returns 1-Jan-00
Both cells are formatted as dd-mmm-yy. So why is A2 showing the year as 00?

I have created a excel file which stores attendance for my employees.
The format is like
Select month in one cell
select year in other cell
And from cell e8 to ai8 i have nos (1-31) represent no of days in a month:
a8 - 1
b8 - 2
c8 - 3
d8 - 4 like wise till ai8
Now I want a calender where user need to select the YEAR, and then MONTH and based on the above selection both days as well as date (not the month and year) should be displayed.
I am currently using this formula "=IF(ISERROR(--(COLUMNS($E8:$E$8) & "-"&$C$2)),"",COLUMNS($E8:$E$8))" for date and your vb code to hide the cells depending on days of months.
I need something like this

Possible to use concatenate function to enter a formula to a cell and have the cell show the result?
I enter the following in a cell:
=CONCATENATE("=LEN(""",A2,"""",")") 'A2 contains the string "Exchange rate: 925"
what is shown in the cell is:
=LEN("Exchange rate: 925")
If I manually enter the above len function in the next cell, the cell displays 18.
Is it possible to use the concatenate function, maybe combine with other functions, to display 18 in a cell?

I have been asked to create a spreadsheet that will contain three fields;
Date of placement (the day the person arrived)
Date of release (the above + 60 days)
Billable days for the current month
The first is simple, the clerk will enter the current date when the person arrives.
For the second field I am using:: =SUM(H5+(60),) (H5 is todays date, and will display the results in I5). When H5 is blank, I get the " #VALUE!" error in I5? Is there a more effective function to use?
For billable days, I am using; =SUM(J2 - (H5),) (J2 is simply the last date of the month; 12/31/09, and H5 is the placement date). I want to show the number of billable days in the current month. This will be repeated on 12 sheets (one for each month).

I have set of data in excel which is basically a table of workload and I need to be able to select someones name from a dropdown list and all the other names are removed.
I've attached a screen shot of an example, I want to be able to select any name from a dropdown e.g. Select Trevor and then only cells which contain Trevor are shown (i.e. the other names disappear). BUT all the jobs 1-10 and Stage 1-3 have to stay even if Trevor doesn't work on them.

I'm fairly new to Excel (2007).
I have used a simple COUNTIF formula (=COUNTIF(C7:C207,"Name")) on sheet 1 to give me the total I want.
What I now want to do, is display this total on a different sheet in the same workbook (Sheet 3) without having to take all the data from Sheet 1 over to Sheet 3.

I have an array, say E6:E9. I have a single cell C6.
I want C6 to show an X, only if all E6:E9 have an X. If only E6 or E8 have X's, then C6 will remain empty. However if all E6:E9 all have X's, then C6 will display an X.
