Jan 8, 2013I have a UserForm that Dead Head Miles will be entered into one text box. The Trip Miles will be entered into the second text box I would like for the user form to show the answer after the first entries are made something like this:
1)Dead Head Miles 20 +
2) Trip Miles 500
----times---$2.00
3)Projected Rate $1040 --show this after the DH and Trip is entered and Multiplied by $2.00
Filling Textbox With Values From Another Textboxes With Default Values
Nov 22, 2012I have a userform containing 3 textboxes, to calculate derivatives.
User enters two integers in textbox1 and textbox2; and to textbox 3, I need to transfer these values but with a little issue.
For example, user entered 3 to textbox1 and 5 to textbox2. In textbox 3, it needs to show 3x^5.
For example, user entered 7 to textbox1 and 2 to textbox2. In textbox 3, it needs to show 7x^2.
So "x" and "^" are our defaults in textbox3.I tried to transfer the numbers that the user enters to cells A1 and A2, -I don't know if this works- but I don't know how to call them to change the text in the textbox.

Jul 14, 2007I want to enter a value in a textbox, search for it in an worksheet, and populate other textboxes with adjacent values if the value is found. Anyway, the problem is that if the value is not found, I get a debug error.

I'm sure there's far better code to do what I need, but I tried to keep it simple. With the above code, it only works if the value is found. If it's not, I get an error. So how do I make it so that if the value is not found, the value of the textbox2 is "Not Found" or something...

I try to add the values of the two previous text boxes. I get wrong result when i use decimals numbers and i can not understand what is wrong.

The total of those txtbox's adds up into textbox 9, but I currently have a command button to sum the value. would I would like is textbox 9 to update as I'm updating txtbox 1-8 automatically. let me know if possible

Mar 5, 2010I have a userform with 10 textboxes which will all contain a time in HH:MM format. Could I have the userform to fill the textboxes with a default value once a time has been entered into textbox1. I would like the default value to be the time from the previous textbox plus 30 mins.
eg. So if I enter 14:00 into textbox1 I would like textbox2 to display 14:30, textbox3 to display 15:00.
If this is possible, could I add a Listbox with the options 1 to 10. Then would I be able to only uses the textboxes based on the number selected in the listbox. So if I selected 2 then just Textbox1 and Textbox2 would have values in them. For 8 being selected then Textboxes 1 through to 8 would be filled.
Finding Smart Coding Userform Textbox Values To Sheet

It seems to me that this is not smart coding, so my question is: can you make this more efficient?
I did find some nice code with uses EmptyRow (find first empty row) but in my case it's always row 3 where de input is placed. After this row follows much more data.
AutoCalculate Days Between Textboxes In Another Textbox
Apr 2, 2012I need to figure out a way to calculate days between textboxes and have the added total show in a text box.
Ie.
If there is a start and end date in scenario 1, the total will show in the total days text box.
If there is a start and end date in scenario 1 and 2, the total will show in the total days text box.
so on and so forth. Is there way to do this?

Define Number Of Decimal Places To Specific Textboxes On Multi Textbox Useform
May 16, 2012I have a userform with 35 text boxes on which display data from a worksheet based on a selection made from a combobox.
My problem is that TextBox11 and TextBoxes 15-35 all need to show a value to 2 decimal places i.e 360.00.
I have found the following line of code:

Which does the job but unfortunatley it applies it to every single textbox on the form (not just No's 11,15-35) which is a problem as some of the boxes contain dates so instead of 09/05/2012 i actually get 41038.00.
My question is how to I modifiy the above code (or is there an alternative code?) to only apply to the required textboxes?
Update Userform Textboxes On The Fly
May 10, 2009I've got a workbook (attached) with a UserForm that summarizes transactions entered in columns A and B based on the entry (color) in column A. If you click on the Button (Summary (Show/Hide)) it brings up the UserForm.
A couple of issues I've struggled with:
1. I'd like the UserForm to open when the workbook opens.
2. I'd like the UserForm to update as entries are made in Columns A and B when the user tabs out of column B
3. I'd like the UserForm to always stay open; the user cannot close it.
I've got the same data in cells G26:M34 but these cells don't "float" as the page moves down. This is the reason I've gone to a UserForm to accumulate the data.

I have a commandbutton1 on the form called "next" which is only enabled after all the fields have been filled. If any field is blank, I want the commandbutton "next" to be disabled. I have many UserForms so I wanted to see if there is another way than my own primitive method - I have a code for the change event of each textbox

Grouping Textboxes In A Userform
Mar 31, 2009I am working on creating a userform to make sure that information gets entered correctly into a spreadsheet. This is a rather large user form with numerous text and list boxes on a number of tabs. I also have a toggle box at the top of the form that helps choose what sort of data I will be needing. When the toggle box is selected I only need about half as much information and do not want users to be able to enter the rest. I am looking to enter code that changes the enabled property of the unneeded boxes to false when the toggle button is selected and back to true when it is clicked off. Unfortunately, this involves about 50 text/list boxes. Things are going to get very messy if I need to write out a seperate line for each of these items.
My question is this. I know there is a way to group these boxes and change the properties of the group as a whole in the editor, but is there a way to refer to such groups and their properties in my code.
Userform With The Unfilled Textboxes

I have made a userform called "frmvakanties"
this form contains a certain amount of textfields in wich the user should be able to put dates (d-mm-yyyy)
the userform also contains a OK button, wich is called cmdOK.
in the the Private sub cmdOK_click it says:
Dim txtNwJrvan as date
unload me
So far no problem.
For this question i just take one of the textboxes, wich is called 'txtnwjrvan'
Now have my vb module. I wrote there: 'frmvakanties.Show'
When i run this program, I get the userform with the unfilled textboxes, fill them with a date and press OK.
this is where my problem is: after frmvakanties.show i've typed
msgbox (frmvakanties.txtNwJrvan)
I do get a msgbox, but it is empty!
I just made this msgbox to check what date it returns, since i need the entered date for further use in my script.
Clear All UserForm TextBoxes

Calculate Age With Userform Textboxes

What I would like is for the txtAge box to be populated once dates have been entered into the other two textboxes.

Nov 17, 2013I have a userform that has 3 sections. In each section are a number of text boxes which, following input of a value in the first text box in the section (master box), self populate with data from a spreadsheet.
This works apart from when I change the value of one of the first text boxes. Is there a simple bit of code that if on the change of the value in the master box will reset the 'dependent' text boxes to empty?

Fill Textboxes In UserForm From ComboBox
Jun 4, 2006I've been trying for hours to populate a textbox on a userform based on a combo box. I'm including a zip of my workbook to see. (don't laugh to hard at my code, like I said I'm green...:) When you select a mix design in my form I want the next six combo boxes to populate. The way I have it now is based on one of the many examples found here, (none of which have worked for me so far, but this one said "the simplest way to do this is......") And I get an error 425 - "Object not found". I've done searches based on the error but haven't found an answer.

Dec 30, 2006I have a form using in Excel 2003 that's 5 columns and 20 rows I need to populate the Textboxes with values from a worksheet. I want to use a loop statment that fills the first row, then increments to the next row until all 20 are filled. I have named each row the same name except the last character is the row number 1-20.
ie on the form textboxes named:
