Transfer Data From One Tab To Another To For A Report


I would like to transfer data from one tab to another to for a report.

First off I would like to take all the rows that have "O" in column B. But only if the year in coloumn Q or R is this year. (Q is order data so I show all new orders taken this year) (R is despatch date so I show all orders despatched this year)

There will be around 25 orders total

I would then like to add a total to the bottom of this set of data.

Then move 4 rows down and bring all the data that has a status "HP" in column B regardless of any other criteria.

There will be upto about 100 Hot prospects (HP's)

My data is held on tab "BRAND" and I would like to generate the report on "BRAND HP"

My data has a header row in row 1 and holds data from A:T

The data is of ever increasing length.

I have a spread with five tabs. Each tab is a person's job responsibilties for numerous properties. Each person works with a property called Orange Avenue. I want to create a tab for JUST Orange Avenue items but want it to automatically pull any and all info from each tab where that person's Ornage Avenue duties are.

HLOOKUP: The PH Report Does Take Data From The Data History Tab
I have attached a spreadsheet that has the following tabs: powerhouse report, influent clarificatioin report, and data history. The PH report and Influent report are supposed to take data from the data history tab. which is named POWER. My problem is that the PH report does take data from the data history tab but the Influent report doesn't.

Creating A Dynamic Report Tab
I am trying to generate a good looking, dynamic report tab that runs off another tab that contains ugly raw data for website traffic. This should then drive a couple of charts based on the parameters I specify.

The Raw Data

This is daily data for keywords that we advertise on through Google. Associated with each keyword are various fields:Clicks
Cost
CPC (Cost divided by clicks)
Quotes
Sales
CPQ (cost divided by quotes)
CPS (cost divided by sales)
CTQ (quotes divided by clicks)
QTS (sales divided by quotes
CTS (sales divided by clicks)
Avg Pos

There are maybe 30 keywords - each with daily information for the above fields.

The layout of the raw data is:

Column A: Date
Column B: Keywords
Column C: Clicks

and so on.......

The Report

This is the nice looking report where we can pull in the required bits and bobs in a nice format. Because some of the above fields are calculations I've not been able to achieve what I need using a normal pivot report.

What I would like to be able to do:

Populate a summary report using the above raw data but be able to specify certain things such as:The date range I want to see data for
The specific keyword(s) I want to see data for

For example v- we are feeding the daily information into the raw report each morning. One day I might want to see summary stats for a particular data rang on maybe 3 of the keywords so I'd somehow like to select appropriate date ranges and keywords from drop down lists and then I see the summary stats for the appropriate date range broken down by each keyword.

I'd also like a total underneath this report to add up or calculate the totals and averages for the data based on the parameters I specify.

Finally, given all of the above, I would like to run a dynamic chart based on the raw data but taking into account the filters I specify on the slick report sheet.

So....if I set the date range as From: 01/03/09 to 12/03/09 I can see daily clicks, costs etc for the particular keywords I specify in the drop-down menu or what-have-you

Copy Data From Weekly Report To Monthly Report
How do you create a macro to copy the information from my weekly reports to a monthly report and be able to update automatically. If you had 4 worksheets (for each week of the month) and 1 mastersheet for the whole month in a workbook. All titles are the same and If you needed to copy all the data that is in the columns, say, A through I, starting with row 4 to however many rows are in a given week. The reports can be made up of numicerial values, text and dates. Let me know if more information is needed or an example worksheet.

SumProduct Formula (flow Data From The Download Tab To The Disb08 Tab Based On The Date)
I need to flow data from the Download tab to the Disb08 tab based on the date, that column F of the Download tab = "Outgoing Money Transfer" and that the 4 digit number in row 2 of the Disb08 tab is matched against Column G in the Download tab. When all those match, then the value from column J of the download tab would flow over.

VBA -Determine Last Row Of Source Data Tab For Use In Executing Formulas In Template Tab
I am currently building a workbook with 2 tabs.

The first is a data dump tab. The number of rows used in this tab will change each time it is used.

The second tab currently has a header row and in cells A2-H2 are formulas based on data in the first tab.

I am creating a macro to autofill those formulas, but I don't know how to determine what is the last row of data in the 1st tab and use that as reference in my macro.

Copying And Pasting Data Scenarios Into A Data Report Sheet

Here is my situation:

The above format is how I want my spreadsheet to look like. On another sheet within the workbook, I have a chart with some control options that allow me to vary X, Y, Z (I can vary either of these individually). Anytime I vary any one of X,Y,or Z, then the values in A,B,and C all change. This is what I am looking for, a Macro that will allow me the opportunity to everytime I change or vary an option (X,Y,Z), I can hit "Save Scenario" and the new values will be appended to my "Report" sheet. The values of A-C and X and Y are kept on a sheet entitled "FY 07". X is maintained on a sheet called "Inputs". So in all, X,Y, Z and A,B,C are all copied for each scenario.

Transfer Data Between Userform.
I am trying to transpher data between two userform.

The Idear, To store information within a list box on a userform and select what list items "information" is to be copyied to another useform's Textbox.

To have the 1st userform with a Text Box and one Button. When the user click the button the userform containing the listbox " information" is displayed. On this form the user can select an item "Information" that they want to be transphered into the other useform's textbox. (any information that is going into the textbox must only be added to the textbox information as a new line)

Auto Transfer Data
There’s one “master table”. Two columns in master table are titled “Name-1” and “Name-2”, and all columns in front of it carry “Properties” corresponding to these names.

In a “second” table, when we choose/type the Name-1 and Name-2, corresponding properties should automatically be picked up from the master table. Is that possible?

Mass Data Transfer
I need to transfer a large amount data (~2,5 million lines of data) from one spreadsheet to another while making sure the destination file is kept in a certain format.

Spreadsheet "oxno" is the file that needs filling out with data provided to me in spreadsheet "ox"
The value that is the matching criteria will be the ITS account number (Field B in "ox" and field A in "oxno") and the currency (Field B in "oxno" and field G in "ox")

So I want a macro to look in "oxno" and use field the values of field "a" & "b" and search for the them in "ox" in fields "B" & "G". Once it finds a match it should copy the value of field "I" in "ox" and paste into field "n" on "oxno".

The next data to be copied should be what goes into field "O" in "oxno" this data is derived from field "L" or "M" but only when its of numerical value with one non numerical field in it (usually a "/"). Last value that I need copied over is Field "T" on "oxno" this is derived from field "J" or "M".

I realise the potential conflict because two sets of queries will be looking to gather values from field "M" on "ox". That is why I am hoping when we look for value for field "O" in "oxno" we only look for numbers with one non numerical field in it (usually a "/") .

After finishing writing this up, I realise how wordy this has become appologies for that, but hopefully someone will be able to understand what I am looking to achieve and will be able to suggest a solution.

Data Transfer To A New Spreadsheet
From the attached spreadsheet I need to transfer all the rows where the issue status in column T is either ongoing or open. Now I know how to transfer them over if row 1,2,3 etc was going into row 1,2,3 etc into the new spreadsheet but as not all rows from this sheet is going over I need to now how to transfer data so in the new spreadsheet it just follows down rather than have spaces in it. i.e. if on this sheet I need to transfer data from rows 1, 5, 10, 15 on the new one they go into row 1,2,3,etc

Conditionally Transfer Data
on the "all data" sheet, there are two rows that have a Y for file missing - these are to be marked, so that they may be focused on finding their file

Transfer Data Between Workbooks
I have to workbooks and I want to populate one of them with data from the other. The receiving document has the fields Account and SubAccount which I need to match up with the account and subaccounts in the other workbook.

However, in the other workbook, the line looks like "1000 Wages 000001" (which is account, name, subaccount). I can't find out how to have my receiving document scanning the providing document and when it finds an account and subaccount (in the above string) that matches the account and subaccount in the receiving document, to bring over the data.

Transfer Data From One Sheet To Another
I have a button on one sheet of my file which should, when clicked, transfer the data in two separate columns to a particular column on another sheet. Until recently this has worked without problem - now however whenever the button is clicked nothing at all happens - this code was written for me, I don't know VBA at all. Iterating And Transfer Data
I want to check 3 columns of data in one worksheet where all 3 criteria have to be met, and where the 3 criteria are met I want to put those details onto a list in another worksheet. Example:

1 Red Bag 1
2 Blue Shoe Complete

I have used SUMPRODUCT after advice from this site to find the line where all 3 columns meet the criteria if for example I wanted to search which lines have "Red" and "Bag" and "1", 1 being a code for missing, in this case, paperwork. I have a macro that creates a table in Excel. The problem is the table will be MUCH bigger than 65,000 lines. So what I'd like to do is once the table gets to a certain size append the data to a Access DB. (Or whatever works)

Then continue running the macro.

Clear Table, Rinse, Repeat.

The "Output" Page of the Macro looks just like the DB would.

For example if I only wanted one instance I could run (part of) macro. Save Excel.

VBA Data Transfer Between Workbooks
I have a series of of quesitons but honestly, I think it'll be answered by ONE question.

This is the my request as described below:

Bob, Jim, and Lisa are Project Managers (PM). Each PM has a Project Template Workbook with required info they need to fill out PER job. This Template workbook has a VBA button that submits their info to the PM Master File.

The PM Master file is a seperate workbook that sums up each project as filled out by the Project Template Workbook.

What I need is the code to either copy/paste the values from the template to the master file ensuring that the most recent addition of information goes to the next row and doesn't paste over the existing data.... or ... I need a different approach.

Autofilter And Transfer Data Macro
Two macros have been developed in order to write entries to a sheet called Detention Register from another sheet named Database.

The first macro (AutofilterDatabase1) filters for two criteria in the Database sheet: 1. All dates 7 or more days prior to today's date (5th field called rDate) & 2. The smallest positive value for a person in field 10 (called rSmallest).

Once these filters have been applied a second macro (named WriteDetentionRegister) is supposed to write the filtered entries to a sheet called Detention Register. However, if no enties at all are found by the filter it writes all entries to the Detention Register. Is there any way of stopping the writing process if no entries at all are found after the filtering process?

I'd also prefer it if after the writing process (or not as the case may be) that all autofilters were returned to displaying 'All' data in the Database sheet for fields 5 and 10. Is this an easy tweak to make to the existing code?

I enclose the code of the 2 macros.

Macro To Transfer Data From 1 Sheet To Another
I am wanting to create a spreadsheet for my stationary orders with some macro's and I have no idea on how to set this up. All the product information will be in Sheet 1 and the Order Form will be in Sheet 2 of the document.

In "sheet 1" we will make a list of all items that get ordered on a regular basis. This can be up to 500 items but
I have given you an example of 6 to play with.

We need the "QTY", "Unit Price" & "Total" in both "Sheet 1" and "Sheet 2" to sum up with a formula

Once the user has chosen the line item they will click on the "add" button next to the line item.

This will inturn take that particular line item and insert only the "Code", "Product", "Unit Price" & "Total" columns in "Sheet 2"
and leaving out the "Page Number", "Item Number" & "Description" & "QTY" fields to Sheet 2 (Order Form)
The user will manually change the "QTY" field on the "Sheet 2" (Order Form)

When the user selects another product and clicks "add" then this new line item will be added below the first line item
on Sheet2 (Order form) and so on.

We will probably only be ordering 10 - 50 items each time so we wont need a huge list on the order form (Sheet 2)

Automatic Data Transfer Between Worksheets
I am having an issue with automatically transferring data from several worksheets into a single summary and analysis worksheet. Transfer Sorted Data To Another Worksheet
I Currently have some VBA sourced through here which adds to the end of the first instance of a value in column A the values in column's B and C and repeats adding values in new cells for B and C until the value in column A changes.

Now I need to transfer this sorted data to another worksheet (destination.xls) and add it by the reference number in column A to the end of the row with the same reference number.

I have experimented with vlookup with limited success and am looking for a more robust solution.

The data from the spreadsheet called source.xls appears starting in column EE. This will be the same starting position for all rows I have coloured the data for ease of recognition purposes only.

I have attached 2 sheets as examples of what I am trying to achieve.

Many Condition Delete And Transfer Of Data
I need to delete a row of data based on information in two other sheets. Basically, I have a summary page and two other raw sheets which i import data - Today / Yesterday - these sheets are updated daily.

I have 3 different conditions to update my data in sheet " Stock".

1. If not in today and yday / delete row
2. If status in today = "New" copy paste over to stock
3. If in yday not in today / copy and hardcode.

I have briefly done up 2&3 but would appreciate if anyone would like to share how he can do it. Otherwise.. just help on (1) will be greatly appreciated....

Using Forms To Transfer Data By Date
I have created a sales form entry excel workbook. This consists of 52 sales weeks for the year. A week starts on a Monday and therefore the first week for this year (2005) started on the 4th January.

As I want to run reports from the data I need to ensure that dates etc are in a certain format and that the entrys go into the correct week. I have created a "form" on the first sheet which automatically adds TODAY() as order date and then has boxes for the users other information such as customer name and price.

I now want to create a button which when clicked will add this information onto a new line in the correct week sheet. However I cannot for the life of me figure out how to do this. I am aware that Excel recognises dates as a serial number and assume that somehow I can use this. I can also do the bit where I create a marco to copy the info over to the week. I would be very grateful if someone could tell me how to put it in the right week without creating numerous IF loops?

Selective Data Transfer Between 2 Worksheets
We want to transfer row data based on criteria in that row to another sheet. We only want to transfer certain cells in the row. We have a column that is named status that we want to trigger and identify the row for transfer and then its location in the new sheet. We tried vlookup but it would only take the first instance of a specific status in the column and not take subsequent instances. We then tried the index function but could not get it to work correctly. I hope this makes sense. There will be a high volume of data being inputted continuously so I don't think that copy and pasting is a viable solution....

Transfer Data From One Sheet To Another With Formula
I have 2 different sheets one is my check book register and the other is a summary page. Both have different categories for example [sheet 1 "register" (gasoline = A) (food = F)] [sheet 2 "summary" (Auto = A)

I think this is how I want it but I need this to work no matter what category my debit or credit falls in. If date is "January" and category is "A" then copy "debit" to sheet 2 under January Auto. then sub total all as designated on second sheet.

If date is January and category is "m" then copy debit to sheet 2 under January mortgage, then subtotal as designated on second sheet. I have attached an example of my spreed-sheet so far as you can see I am struggling getting the amounts to go into the correct categories. Also sometimes there may be more than one of the same type of transaction in the same month they need to be able to go into the same cell and be totaled as well.

Text File Transfer Of Data.
I have a data in excel sheet which I would like to convert into a text file. In the text file, the data format should be with the brackets and comma separated.

For example:
In excel sheet:

12 2 45 25
23 1 35 50
24 1 21 23

In text file the same data should be in the following format:

(12,2,45)[25]
(23,1,35)[50]
(24,1,21)[23]

The above is for one data set . In other data set, the brackets may change places for example: (1,23)[12,34,56]

VBA Code For Transfer Of Data
We have a worksheet entitled 'Data Output' that has the raw data in column B. The data represents temporary input from another worksheet that serves as an intake form. Each person's intake data will temporarily populate column B of the Data Output worksheet. When each intake is complete, I want Excel to take the data in Column B and find the next available empty column in a worksheet called 'database page 1' and populate it with the data starting at row 3 downward. When the last column in database page 1 worksheet is reached, I need for Excel to go to 'database page 2' worksheet and begin populating the next empty column and so on.

Is there anyone within your forum or group that can help me write the VBA code for this and briefly tell me where in Excel to insert the code. I know formulas basically well, but have never used VBA.

Autonumber/transfer Of Data To Other Sheet
i am trying to create a macro button that will take a new customer on the first page and transfer this new customer entry on to the existing customer page. i know i need to use a paste special to make the customer data to go from virtical to horizontal, but my main problem is that i need to give all my customers a autonumber with letters and numbers.

This is my problem i need to create a macro that will keep createing my format of CID1101,CID1102,CID1103 and so on and so forth as a autonumber and also be able to send my customer data across from the new customer table to the existing customer table. i have attached my spreadsheet i have had to zip it to get the size down and also remove pictures.

Show/Transfer Data On/From UserForm
I am working on a Userform that will take the values entered in the first two text boxes (values for Columns A and B), enter them into the spreadsheet, and then display the values for the data in columns C and E in the next two text boxes. The data for columns A and B must be entered first since Columns C and E contain functions. And then, when the end user is finished for the day, I want them to be able to clear the values in columns A and B (which I have this part) Also, the data in column B will almost always be the current date, so I am not sure if that can be automatically populated on the userform or not.....I have played around relentlessly, so I know that I have really messed up the code I DO have, but here it is (I know it doesn't make any sense).

Transfer Data To Worksheet From Form
My goal is to create a tracker for my work. This tracker would have the data collection in a seperate excel worksheet using forms (embedded), where all of the information initially goes, then with the click of an "Add" button, it formats the information in the cells in the appropriate worksheet (ie: good data goes to the worksheet called "Good" and vice versa for "Bad"), clearing the data from the forms, and preparing for the next bit of information.

Transfer UserForm Data To Cells
I created UserForm for people to enter there details into this form. I designed it ok, but i need it to, once it is filled in to copy what is entered onto a page in the spreadsheet.

So someone enters there details into a form that appears but then i need their details to appear on the spreadsheet at the click of a button.

Automatically Transfer Data On Entry
I'm trying to figure out how to create a database on Sheet 2 by filling in the info in a template created on Sheet 1. I have seen it done with the addition of a button within the Excel sheet itself, and you simply click it to send your information to the database page. I am thinking it is along the lines of OLAP or recording macros

Data Validation Report
I have a workbook of about 30 worksheets which makes extensive use of Data Validation. Essentially, data entry cells is validated against values within some predefined ranges (there are 6 ranges in total).

I am preparing documentation for this workbook and would like to document the data validation being used. Is there a way to extract this information? Where/How is it stored?

Create Report From Data
I want to create a report from an existing excel spreadsheet that will show the first row with column headings. I only want certain columns from the spreadsheet to show on the report (see attached). On the left (1st column), I want to show the data from each of the last 7 days. Then I want to show data for rolling last year to date, then for last rolling year to date, and finally for last rolling 30 days.

Report Of Data By Criteria
I have a large list of items (up to 3000) that are listed by category, description, part number and weight in columns C-F. Column A is where a user will enter a quantity in the rows of the items that they want. Once the user is done picking their items they hit a button that I have written a macro in, to copy and paste only the rows that contain a quantity in, on to another sheet. My problem is that for these items (that contain a quantity) I need to have a line number (in column B) that starts at 1 and counts up for each line item. Issues to consider:

-Line item 1 may not always be the top item. (because the user may not choose the top item)
-There will be spaces inbetween the line items since the user may not pick all of their chosen items in order.
-Users can pick an item at the bottom then pick one above it. (The Line item numbers will need to readjust to include the new number in the middle)

This has been bugging for a few days now cause whenever I think I finally get it I keep creating circular references

Transfer Data From One Named Range To Another Via A Userform
I have a range of data that is compiled from various cells that I have named as Range1. I then have another named range - Range2 which should be items selected from range1 and copied into range2. This is to enable other work to take place.

I have created an example userform with Range 1 shown but do not know the code to copy it over using a command button. Range 1 should not change. Also vice versa if possible i.e. remove the selected item from Range2 with another button.

Transfer Data Cells Into A Closed Workbook
Workbook A contains data that feeds into Workbook B. Workbook B retrieves data from Workbook A (via a macro) and then puts data into cells in Workbook B, Workbook B process the information and does calculations etc... on the data from A. Now I want to transfer the results back to Workbook A in specific cells.

Example (just for information only and not actual problem): Workbook A, contains employee information, years in company, position etc... This is transferred to Workbook B (this portioin I have coded and tested). Workbook B calculates pay, benefits etc... Now I want to put the pay information back to Workbook A.
