Select Series (lines) In Line Graph By Adding Userform With Checkboxes On A Chart

I want to add a user-form on a chart, which will have check-boxes that will allow me to select series(lines) that I want see and compare in a chart. Currently my line chart has 24 series (Lines) which makes the chart very difficult to view and looks very busy. How do I add list of check-boxes that will allow me to select one or multiple lines that I want to see at a time?

Remove Cell / Grid Lines

I have created a form for my customers. It is attached.

In creating the form, I have merged cells so that the area behind my text boxes will appear clean (no lines).

However, I cannot remove the lines around certain cells see, e.g. range K21.

I would like to make the form as "pretty" as possible for my clients (and it would help me look good to management).

Grid Lines Disappear When Importing Data

I sometimes import data in the copy-paste way from completely different sources, eg. a program on the web or whatever, which has arranged the data in a table.

It is often succesful with the data neatly arranged in the spreadsheet in columns and rows and all, but sometimes the gridlines disappear even though 'cell format' is set to 'none' in 'grid lines' and the settings have a mark for 'visible grid lines' and their color is 'automatic'. Only the imported area misses the gridlines.

It is of course possible to set some grey gridlines manually in cell format, but then I get them on the print also and I don't want that.

I am looking for a time saver macro,pretty easy to make i guess,as the theory is not difficult...but i am too newbie to make it. So i have an xls that has like 20k lines on Column A!And i have to seperate the numbers. I count the first 4 digits and I have to do it by adding a cell between them.

Is it possible to show a table in a user form? For example I have a table that is 4 columns wide and 5 rows deep with lines seperating both. I have tried using a text box and list box to achieve the results I am looking for but can't figure out how to add lines to seperate data between rows and columns.

Excel 2010 :: Vertical Grid Lines For Multi-level Category Axis Labels

I am having a problem formatting a chart in Excel 2010. My chart has multi-level category axis labels, and I would like to have a vertical grid line separating each major group of categories. In Excel 2003, I could right-click on one of the gridlines and then specify the spacing I wanted between gridlines. In Excel 2010, as soon as I indicate that I want multi-level category axis labels, I get a vertical gridline between each category and I am unable to alter the spacing. If I deselect the multi-level axis label option, I can adjust the spacing between the vertical gridlines, but the axis multi-level label functionality is lost. Is there a way to fix this problem without having to resort to using the drawing tools or text boxes to achieve the desired results.

Report A List Line By Line Based On Name Criteria

Currently I am using Excel 2000. I did a search and couldn't seem to find the answer I was looking for. Hopefully someone can help. It would be greatly appreciated since I have been trying to figure out how to do this for days.

I am trying to create a worksheet that will pull info from a row on one sheet to another sheet based on the name; then continue to list the info on each line afterward until there is no more of the that particular criteria. See below (this is just an example to simplify the data but would need the same process):

This would be the data on sheet 1:

Name Bonus Commision

Tom $45 $50
Mary $25 $75
Mary $30 $80
Tom $60 $50
Tom $90 $25

What I would like to do is have 2 more sheets. One would be Tom's sheet and the other would be Mary's sheet and it would look like this:

Tom's Sheet:

Tom $60 $50
Tom $90 $25

Mary's Sheet:

Mary $25 $75
Mary $30 $80

I am not completely familiar with all of the functions in Excel and compared to you guys I am a complete novice.

Is this possible to do in Excel without using a macro?

I have a report with ~44,000 line items. From this report, I need assistance generating a report that lists all unique line items. I am having problems trying to identify which line items are duplicates as I need to compare 4 different cells in each line to other lines to determine if it is a duplicate item (compare data from columns A, B, E, F)

For example, raw data may be as follows:

I have attached a sample of the spreadsheet with dummy data on one tab and the desired output on another tab. Note that all the data is broken up into blocks of data that is separated by data that is only in the first column of the row.

I import data into an excel spreadsheet where a unique job number may have multiple costs against it. These import as separate lines, repeating the job number.

The data imports on a sheet called 'DataImport'. From that sheet I transfer some of the imported fields onto another sheet.

What I need to be able to do is transfer the job number and a sum of the costs onto the other sheet.

The data is run regularly and I delete all the fields on the DataImport sheet in the macro each time the import is run.

One has around 129 lines for the first years 2006 in sheet1.
The other links to the first 129 rows. Then I've linked the top 129 in sheet2 130 down for 2007 and so on for 5 years.

I am brand new and I don't know a ton about macros and programming in Excel.

What I'm trying to do here in this attached spreadsheet is at the end of inputting my line, I want to hit the tab (marked in red to make it clear where) button in the cell and have it automatically create another blank line but keep the formulas the same.

Basically I just want to avoid having to right click and insert line and then drag the formulas column by column down which is difficult.

I have a report that needs subtotals between different teams. The report starts at cell A10.

In column A is the team name and then columns D through to G contain monetary values.

So the Admin team might contain data from A10-G15 (although this is variable depending on activity).

There is then three rows of blank cells before Sales team data appears - this might contain data for a dozen rows.

Then there is three rows of blank cells before Training team data appears......and so on.

There is ALWAYS three rows of blank data between teams and the goal is to enter totals for each team in the second blank row.

So in the above, Admin team totals would appear in row 17 in columns D-G.

Sales team data would kick in at row 19, run for a dozen rows (down to say row 30) and at row 32 the toals would appear.

Training team data kicks in at row 34 and so on.

I have an excel spreadsheet which calculates the count and value of line items based on a report. I use the sumproduct function to calculate this as it involves multiple criteria. The formula is use is

SUMPRODUCT(('Report 50'!$C$2:$C$64992= Dashboard!$B172)*('Report 50'!$H$2:$H$64992=Dashboard!G$2)*(LEFT('Report 50'!$S$2:$S$64992,14)="credit transfe")*('Report 50'!$L$2:$L$64992=15))+SUMPRODUCT(('Report 50'!$C$2:$C$64992=Dashboard!$B172)*('Report 50'!$H$2:$H$64992=Dashboard!G$2)*(LEFT('Report 50'!$S$2:$S$64992,14)="credit transfe")*('Report 50'!$L$2:$L$64992=19))

I think the possible error is coming out of this criteria (LEFT('Report 50'!$S$2:$S$64992,14)="credit transfe")

Out of one particular field i am picking those line items in which the first 14 characters are "Credit Transfe", if i eliminate this criteria i dont get error.

But this is the main criteria for my calculation. Most of the time i dont get any error , but sometines i get the # Name Error? When i double click on the cell it goes to one column. I dont know what to do from there.
