Automatic Lock With Current Time

I have a time tracking sheet. In Column C and Column D there is a start time and end time respectively where my team people will enter the current time accordingly.

I would like to lock the cell once they enter the time but the entire sheet should not lock. Only the Column C and D should lock upon people enter the time. Basically, once user enter the time, they should not be able to change it.

I want a macro to take the current time and if it is less than 09:00am, I want it to set a variable to be the current time on the previous day.

Basically, an operational day runs from 09:00am to 08:59am the following day.

08:45am on Saturday 13 July (for example) should be recorded as 08:45am on Friday 12 July.

I need to have a current row password protected when the value in ActiveCell.Offset(0, 0).Value = "Close"
but just to lock that current row. What I have is a close button on a userform that changes the ActiveCell.Offset(0, 0).Value = "Close", i just need to add another line of code to lock the row.

VB: ActiveCell.Offset(0, 0).Value = "Close" (And lock current row With password 123)

formula that can automatically use the current month date to extract information from other cells on my spreadsheet.

For example: This formula should be located in cell C6. Cells D6, F6, H6, J6, L6, N6, P6, R6, T6, V6, X6, and Z6 (these cells correspond to the months of the year, January to December respectively) contain the values I need. The month names are labeled above in row five.

Let's say the current month is March, I need the formula in C6 to automatically know that it is the month of March and to pull the information from cell H6 (which is the March cell). Then when April comes along, it will know that it is April and to only pull the information from cell J6; and so on until the end of the year.

Comparing Current Time To The Time In Past And Future

I get True.

However, when I evaluate

?Now() < TimeSerial(11,50,0)

I get False.

Why is this?

Continually Compare Time In Cell With Current Time

I need a way to compare the time of the computer with the one in the cell and bring up a message box if the time matches.
Yet i don't want it to be a one time makro. What i want is to be able to work with the worksheet and that at the same time i want a paralel function to check whether the time in the cell matches. Something like agenda in Outlook.

Lock Cells For A Certain Time After Entry

I've got a spreadsheet set up for a simple barcode scanning system. The user scans the barcode of the product when complete, and it logs it to a sheet along with a date & time timestamp. I'm then planning to use a v-lookup (barcode to product name) & pivot-table to count instances of 'product name' so that I can monitor what is being produced easier, nothing too tricky.

The problem I'm having comes from the products of the same spec having the same barcode, so data validation is hard to apply, as I can't 'not allow dupes' - the concern I have is that if the user unknowingly (or knowingly!) scans the same ticket twice, I think I've got 2 of a product when I've only got one. The idea I had was to lock all cells for a set time period (say 1 minute) after an entry so that it couldn't be accidentally scanned twice.

Cell Auto-lock After Entering Time

I have created a time sheet and I would like to know if there is a way to auto-lock cells after time is entered so that it cannot be changed. As of right now I have employees enter the time by using Shift+Ctrl+;, so the exact time is recorded, however employees can write in whatever time they want. so I guess what I want to do is 2 things:

1- can the cell be formatted to only accept Shift+Ctrl+;, so that the exact time is entered in the cell and prevent employees from entering times they were not at work?

and

2- can the cell auto-lock after Shift+Ctrl+; is entered so that they can't modify the time sheet the next day if they arrived earlier than the day before?

Lock Cells, Protect Sheet With Password & Time Stamp

I have a worksheet with employees names and their overtime hours worked that week. I would like to add some code to a button that will prompt for a password. If that password matches a predefiened password then lock a range of cells and place a time stamp next to the button and maybe change the button color of the button to Red. Now if the person with the password wants to change the locked cells, they can click the button again and enter the password and the button will turn green so they can make the changes. I would like the time stamp to be updated every time the cells are locked. Also wanted to have one button for every work week so about four buttons per worksheet. Here is an example of the worksheet. The range of cells I want to lock are the ones in bold.

So I've made a large spread sheet in Excel that calculates many values and constraints for the optimization of a structural beam; from there, the minimum value that satisfies all constraints is output in an individual cell. I want to see how this output value changes when I change one value, the length of the beam. For instance, I input a length of the beam (10 ft.) and I get an output value of 643.50; I copy and special paste this value manually into a cell. I then change the length to 15 ft. and get an output value of 1322.83 and copy and special paste this value into the next cell. This process is very tedious, because I have to do this for hundreds of values. Is there a way to automate this so that I don't have to do everything by hand. The tricky part is that every time I change the length, the entire worksheet must recalculate before I get a new output value.

I've been looking for an easy way to add time to a cell that has a time or date and time in it, for example, 5/31/2007 12:06:27 PM

I want to add 30 minutes to it, for example, without having to split it apart and manually add it in, worrying about adding an hour if I go over 60 minutes, etc.

If I was doing it with a cell formula, I could use "=A1 + TIME(0,30,00)" but I don't know what the equivalent would be in VBA.

I would like a solution for the automatic calculation of the end date and end time for project tasks. I have already spent hours on the issue, thanks for any help on this.

The parameters are:
A1 = Start time 08:00
B1 = End Time 17:00
A2 = break lunch 12:00
B2 = back from lunch 13:00

Task parameters

A5 = start date 01/03/10 (entered manually)
B5 = start time 10:00 (entered manually)
C5 = duration 02:00 (hrs entered manually)
D5 = "end date" >>> (to be calculated exluding breaks and holidays)
E5 = "end time" >>> (to be calculated exluding breaks and holidays)

the next line should be filled in automaitically according to the hours needed and the previous end date & time

A6 = "start date" >>> (after line 5: to be calculated exluding breaks and holidays)
B6 = "start time" (after line 5: to be calculated exluding breaks and holidays)
C6 = duration 14:00 (entered manually)
D6 = "end date" >>> (to be calculated exluding breaks and holidays)
E6 = "end time" >>> (to be calculated exluding breaks and holidays)

and so on for every new line down.
