Check For Return Of 0, Then Display Blank

I have a vlookup formula I would like to add another If statement to.

=IF(ISNA(VLOOKUP($O2,Table!$A$2:$I$72,9,0))=TRUE,"Not In Table",VLOOKUP($O2,Table!$A$2:$I$72,9,0))

This works fine, but if the field that it is returning (9 in the case above) is blank, I get a zero in the destination cell.

Can I add another check in this formula to see if the destination cell is zero, but display a blank?

VLOOKUP - If Table Array Is Blank Need It To Return Blank?

I am creating a tracking spreadsheet where i can toggle between months (attached). It returns data properly when I select January or February from the yellow highlighted dropdown list. However, when i choose March, it returns 1/0/1900 because no data has been entered for March (table array) on the AAAG tab. How do I write the formula to return a blank cell on the summary sheet when no information has been entered into the table array yet?

Return Blank If Concatenating With Blank Cell?

in one column of my spreadsheet and it is returning the correct concatenation for the appropriate lines. However, I wish to have the column's cells return an answer of blank (" ") if B15, B16... etc is blank. In other words, at the moment, a correct answer would read something like '1810sd0000' C10 and B15 used, while an incorrect answer would still display '1810', but I want it to be a blank cell.

I having trouble getting this IF statement to function properly. The Bold section is the part that will not function properly. I have checked all the spelling, spaces, but for some reason it wont display properly.

Based on the above is there a way to make this a type of lookup?

Im at wits end with all the ifs.

Can you make the first part (the logical test) be anything other than a numerical value? I want a value to display only if a check mark (using the wingding font for the check mark) appears next to certain items in a list. For example: =If(A1=checkmark,B1+C1,""). If I am not clear maybe I can explain it another way.

I have a number of rows that contains data (normally numeric):

0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | ... |True
1 | 0 | 0 | 0 | ... |False
0 | 1 | 0 | 1 | ... |False

What's the formula that gives the True/False answers? I could go IF(AND(A1=0,B1=0,etc...),TRUE,FALSE) that gets the results, but can it be done in a smarter method or can it done via array method?

Check Range & Show Blank Instead Of 0

See attached spreadsheet for example of the sheet I am using.

Problem 1.

Columns C and D show me figures when the number in col A is > 2500 or < 550 when these criteria are not met a 0 is displayed in the cell, is it possible to alter my formula so that nothing (a blank cell) is displayed rather than a 0 - I am wondering if there is something like null which I can use?

=IF(A4>2500,A4,)
=IF(A4<550,A4,)

Problem 2.

In column E (normal days) I want to display the value of A if it is > 550 but < 2500 - is there a way of doing this in a single formula? Again I would just like a blank to be displayed if the value of A does not meet the above criteria.

I have X amount of cells (formulasheet) , these are used to input data, which is then summarized into a sheet on the same file. I'm trying to find a code that forces the user to fill out all the fields. If the user do not, the "submit button" will not proceed, at least not work. Almost like a forum registrating, where it is required to fill it all some mandatory fields in order to proceed.

The cells datatypes are mixed, some are Integer and some are String.

Is there anyway that are code can be written "if the cell(s) is FALSE (nothing in the cell) then display message.

Blank Values In Control / Check Table

I am building a table for staffing purposes, and I basically only need to controls to "validate"/approve the table.

1. The number of staff put in must equal the required amount of staff (E column)
2. The same staff cannot be put on twice for the same time period (which I have done by the OR(F7=G7,F7=H7,G7=H7) as part of the validation)

My problem is that sometimes I need 0 staff (when its closed), but when I leave it blank obviously it wont approve the table because of rule #2 above, since it thinks the blanks are the same staff member.

I have tried with some ISBLANK statements, but it wont work.

Using one spreadsheet with three date columns and two columns counting days.

If there is a value in Resolution date, then Column N is blank
If there is no value in Submit date and Resolution date, then Column N is blank
If there is no value in Resolution date, and there is a value in Submit date, subtract Submit date from todays date to show how many days it has been pending approval

Created on = J4
Submitted on = K4
Resolution Date = L4
Days to Approve = M4 I've got that formula =IF(L4="","",L4-K4)
Days Pending Approval= N4 (cell with formula)

If Resoultion Date L4 has a value, return blank
If Submit on K4 and Resoultion date L4 are blank, return blank
If Resolution date L4 is blank, and Submit on K4 has a value, subtract Todays date from Submit on K4 to show Days Pending Approval

How Do I Get Concatenate To Display Blank Instead Of False?

I am using concatenate to create a list of bottles based on other data, so that each cell contains a different combination of bottles.

The problem is that the list appears but there is also FALSE for every bottle that doesn't relate to that cell.

Is there a way to create a formula such that nothing appears if it is not true?
And is there a shorter way of writing what I am after, I can't quite finish the formula becaise it is so long.

I have this formula in a cell:

=IF(AND($D4=H4,$F4=I4),3,IF(SIGN($D4-$F4)=SIGN(H4-I4),1,0))

but i need to somehow incorporate a formula that only shows this if a cell has a value present.

I know as an example its something like:

=IF(C2="","",C3)

but i dont know how that would go in my existing formula as i dont know how to stack IF statements?? (a very kind person on this forum did the original formula btw)

the cell that i need to have as the 'blank or not' is D4.

Got a table where I've placed Data validation - List on them.

Placed a macro on a button so that the data on the table where the validation list is placed is transfered to another sheet (same workbook).

What I need is a to modify the macro assigned to the button so that when the button is clicked to activate the macro:

a.) Can identify if there are any blanks on specified cells with validation list
b.) Stops the macro from copying the fields to the other sheet
c.) Alert the user of the blanks (an alert stating there is a blank would suffice)
d.) Alert should preferably be similar to a Stop alert from Data Validation.

Can anyone help? Been reading through several threads but don't seem to find anything that could help me - tried reading a Visual basic thread and now i've got a headache....

Is there a good way to check two columns at the same time and return the value in the 3rd?

Example

I look for 12 in the first column with vlookup but I need to also look for a figure in the 2nd column which is greater than my figure. So say I want 12 & 6.0 I would want the formula result to be 28 because the nearest larger number in the table column 2 is 8.00.

Let's say i got something like this

A B C D Result
200 250 Apple 600 Melon
251 450 Orange 225 Apple
451 700 Melon 325 Orange
751 900 Grape 457 Melon

So based on my example above, I have those data from column A to column D Now, how do I check if the value from column D belong to which category from column C based on the column A and B?

225 -> 200~250 -> Apple
325 -> 251~450 -> Orange
etc.

The result will appear on "Result" Column
