Compare Column C On 2 Worksheets If Partial Match Copy Row To New Worksheet

Basically, i have a workbook that contains 2 worksheets with stock data for two stock holding sites, we're consolidating our stores and need to confirm what stock is held at both sites. I need to compare column C on both sheets to find if an item exists on both sheets, and if so copy the entire row from Sheet 2 onto the next free row on a new sheet. Col C on each sheet contains the stock number, however, on Sheet 1 the stock number is abbreviated ot the final 7 letters, with Sheet 2 showing the FULL stock code.
I need whatever is in "Sheet 1:Col C" (for example '1234567') to be compared to whatever is in "Sheet 2:Col C", and if a match is made (for example 9999-00-1234567) then the row containing the match be copied to the next free row on Sheet 3.
Trying to compare data from two spread sheets, if there is similar data in column a, output all data (sheet1 & 2) to the 3rd sheet.

I'm also would like the ability to change the columns I am comparing. The actual sheets may have more that 4 columns.I can somewhat read the formulas but have a hard time under standing them completely.
I think I could get this to work but the INDEX command is not returning an index of the row like it is documented. It is returning the value in the cell. In order to get this to work, I need to return the index of the row. I need to know what row the match found the item on because the value I need to copy is going to be in column J of that same row.

The other worksheet is a table from a database connection worksheet. (Name is ODBC_Products)
Each worksheet has a Sku column in it.
website-upload: Column AODBC_Products: Column B
Each worksheet has a QTY column in it.
website-upload: Column KODBC_Products: Column J
Goal: I would like to search the Sku column ODBC_Products and find a match for a sku that is listed in the website-upload sku column and then when I find that match, display the qty from the ODBC_Products worksheet to the website-upload worksheet.
Notes: I add columns and delete columns all of the time on this worksheet so I would rather do this in excel vs. a macro. I figure this can be done with something like:
I have an input box pop up to ask the user for a base item number. The way the excel sheets part numbers work for example is TM-T88VP-GRY, the last part 'GRY' changing based on the variation of the item that someone ordered. So, the base item number would be TM-T88VP, and what I want to do is search through a set column (Column G) and delete any row that contains that base item number.
I am not a programer by trade so I can't figure out what I need to do to solve my problem. I need to compare two worksheets to each other and only keep the rows of data that match. I am comparing address's in each worketsheet with each of them located in column C in each worksheet.
I would like a macro that can match column A & column B data of Worksheet(WeeklyJob) to column A & column B of Worksheet(Master) then if match is found copy column C through column F into Worksheet(Master) column C through F (and overwrite any [outdated] existing data there may be in those columns [thus updating the job's weekly charges, etc.]). If match is not found I would like it to copy entire row from Worksheet(WeeklyJobs) into first blank row at end of Worksheet(Master) (thus giving me a new record of a new job from the weekly report).
All the columns in both worksheets are labeled the same (& row 1 is headings).
I have a workbook with many sheets of similar but not identical data. I need to extract columns from each sheet based on 5 header criteria and paste them to a single sheet. Each worksheet contains these 5 criteria.
I've been working with the VBA script I've pasted below. It's grabbing the 5 column criteria that I have in sheet 12, and comparing them to sheet 1 in the workbook, then copying them to sheet 12. This much is good, but I need the script to also return the data from the other worksheets as well. I've tried modifying the script based on other loop functions in other scripts I've found, but I'm not having any luck.

I want to compare A1 for the values in column B, then return the corresponding cell (column C) in column D. e.g. D1 = 2, D2 = 1, D3 = 4, D4 = 5 and D5 = 3.
I need to compare column A of Original.test worksheet to column A of Supplier.test worksheet. If there is a match then copy entire row of the corresponding match from Original.test to Matched worksheet. If no match then copy that row into OnlyInOriginal worksheet.

creating a macro that would compare two worksheets and their differences would be copied into a third worksheet in the same workbook? Several key criteria is needed:
1) The third worksheet would need to note only the data from the 1st and 2nd worksheets (including headers) that had differences. An additional column would do the difference calculations for the data whereby numeric values are subtracted (worksheet 2 from worksheet 1 values) and non-numeric values would note "Pass" or "Fail".
2) All data values that had differences would be formatted in yellow shading on the third worksheet.
3) The unique ids from column A in worksheet 1 would have to have be noted in column A of the third worksheet; even if they didn't have a difference from worksheet 2.
4) The third worksheet would need to note all of the columns noted in worksheet 1 and include the difference column for each unique column.
5) Flexibility in code to allow for addition of new columns to analysis.

This is for Excel 2007,I have two sets of model numbers. One set is the full model numbers of the units we use, and the other is an abbreviated form used to lookup up certificate numbers. I need a way to match these up so I can use one set of search criteria to find out if there is a match. Here is an example of what I need to match with a partial text match:
H,AE35(6,9)36+TD and AE3563636D145C2501AP H,RE36(6,9)36 and RE36936C145B2505AP
if I could do this with a formula that matches multiple items at the same time (ie; if A & B & C match=true) with the above model number being one of those items (certificate numbers are issued for sets, but the other model numbers are fine).If that's not possible, a one time VBA run to match all of the abbreviations at once would also work. If these items are matched up with a one time VBA, the VBA needs to account for their being more than one match for each abbreviation depending on the size of the unit.
So H,AE35(6,9)36+TD could be matched to: AE3563636D145C2501AP AE3563636D175C2501AP AE3563636D210C2501AP
I need to compare names in column A(sheet 1) to names in column A(sheet2) and if there is a match then I need the date from column B(sheet 2) to be copied to column B(sheet1).
I want to compare two columns. I would like to see if the contents of column B appear anywhere in column A, for any amount of rows, and if it does, to place the match in col C.
So in the example below, red in B1 would be checked in A1 through A1000 or however long A is. When any row has red, place that match in that row for C.
This would be repeated until all rows in B are complete.
look for a certain value in worksheet A and copy that row of data to Worksheet B.
However, it seems to be only copying the row in worksheet A and pasting it. Is there something that a noob VBA scripter has missed out?

I have a WB with multiple sheets. I have a Feed sheet that automatically pulls data from the web. I have a Scores sheet that currently has all head to head matchups each week for an entire season. So I want to check the cells on the Feed! sheet to find a partial match and if partial match exists then copy cell that contents score from feed sheet to the score sheet next to the appropriate teams name. Currently I have to manually enter all scores each week for the rest of my WB to update.
I need to look at Cell A3 (on the Feed sheet) which has "New York Jets" then search for a partial/similar match on the score Sheet (which is NY JETS, in this case). NY JETS could be in column B (rangeB2:B257) OR column D (rangeD2:D257) BUT I need to search by row, not column, then once a match is found check the cell to the immediate right and only if the cell is blank copy data from the (!feed) sheet to that blank cell on the (!scores) sheet
This is what happens if working right =
look at cell A3 on the (!feed) sheet = "New York Jets" then search (!scores) sheet Column B and Column D by row for a partial match, finds "NY JETS" as match in cell D8, if cell E8 is blank then copies cell H3 from (!feed) sheet, and pastes to cell E8 on the (!scores) sheet, if cell is not blank continues search until 1st blank cell to the right of matching cell is found (as there will be mutiple matching cells with blank cells to the right but I am only interested in the 1st blank cell found, once found and data copied the process is done and then starts over with cell A4)
Look at cell A4 (!feed)= "New England Patriots" then search (!scores) sheet Column B and Column D by row, finds "NEW ENGLAND" as match in cell B8, if cell C8 is blank then copies cell H4 (!feed) sheet, and paste to cell C8 (!scores)
Once this is done it moves on to the next cell in the next row on the (!feed) sheet, A5, to find a partial match for the data in that cell. I need to continue the search for each cell A3 to A74, and if no match is found to move on to the next cell A6... (based on the way the data is pulled in from the web there are some blank cells as well as some cells that say Game Final, this data won't be on the scores sheets in column B or D).

I'm trying to find the value from sheet2 cell B2 (school) in sheet1 column B and then when it finds that, I need it to copy the data from the Corresponding sheet1 Column G cell to sheet2 Column G cell.
I am very new withe macro I recieve every day a CSV file from our supplier withe a list of the products that got updated withe new price, stock count, product ID etc.
I have my own worksheet with the product ID that we use, and I want to finde the exact match to my product ID in that CSV file and delete all other that don't match.
But i need them get deletede by rows thos product ID that dosen't match to my workbook.
I tried with this, so it could set an X in front of my match then i could filter and copy it to my workbook but it dosen't work: Because the same product ID is sometime in 100 rows and the X come only in front of one of them.

I have 2 worksheets named sheet1 and need_to_delete that are in the same format: 7 digit number, 5 digit alpha numeric, text, dollar amount. I need to copy every row into sheet2 where there are no matches in the column A of the two source worksheets, and copy every row that does have a match in column A into sheet 3. I'm trying to search on A1 and return the correct name from a named range called KeyWords.
Here is what i want to do. # I have a workbook say 'Template', which has two columns: ColA -> Names , ColB -> Value, his acts as a template, i.e a budget. # Another workbook 'sample' which has similar ColA(may contain additional rows) and corresponding value in ColB.
Here is what i need::
I need to copy the contents of ColA and ColB of 'sample' wholse ColB valules are greater than ColB values of 'Template' for corresponding ColA values in both, into a new workbook. SO basically, template acts as a budget check for the sample workbook, and if any value in ColB goes above the budget in template, it will show up in the new workbook. I have attached both the workbooks. Basically the red highlighted cells in Sample are the ones i want in a new workbook.
- I copy some records from a Database into an Excel sheet in workbook (say W1) in the Worksheet WS1. - The i look up for values in a column (say column B) of W1 in another worksheet in another workbook(say W2) . - If i find a match in Workbook 2(W2) ,Worksheet 1 , Row 2, Column A ; i look at the values in the Column B, F,G on the Row 2 itself. - Each of these values can be found in the corresponding Worksheets 2;3;4 in the Workbook2(W2) . - Then i need to pick up all these values from worksheet 1;2;3;4 in W2 and contatenate them and put them in the Workbook W1 against the Row . - Similarly i process all the non zero rows in the workbook W1.
I am trying to modify the macro listed below for the following example. It would work when I have only numerals in the cell but this new query, the cell has both letters and numbers.
I want to compare column "M" from worksheet one to column "B" in worksheet two. If the information matches, then copy the value adjacent from worksheet two column "A" to worksheet one column "L".

Been a while since I've worked with macros within excel and I can't seem to get what I remember being a basic macro to work whatsoever. I have 2 worksheets containing a massive amount of data and need to pull some cells from one into the other when values in 2 columns match.
To better explain, sheet1 has ID numbers in column G spanning for roughly 1700 rows. Sheet 2 has corresponding ID numbers in column EO. The data I need to copy over is in columns EP and EQ on sheet 2.
So I'm trying to build a macro to compare the values in Sheet1_Column_G to those on Sheet2_Column_EO and when a match is found, copy the value in EO and the adjacent entries in columns EP & EQ over into columns X, Y, and Z on sheet 1.
Couldn't get a VB function together to save my life so I tried working with MATCH & INDEX and didn't get very far either. I've included my current function below.
I have an exported Excel worksheet1 from the parts database get every Friday. We get RFQ of parts list each week from multi customers about 3000+ parts as they send in MSword, MSoutlook or MSexcel to me I make into Excel worksheet2. I do not like to type in every part into the parts software I have my words for that software Cough Cough. The exported excel speadsheet tells the part numbers, Location, Qty, Price, ETC I would like to take the Excel RFQ list and have it populated from the other speadsheet
SAMPLE A1 PART number that on both spreadsheet A2 QTY on both there request and our stock A3 Price A4 Location
So want a compare worksheet1 with worksheet2 A1 = A* the populate A2-A4 with worksheet1 data
