I have two sheets and I want to copy the values in a row in the first sheet to the second sheet. I am doing the following:
Sheet2. Range("A1").Value = Sheet1.Range("A1", Sheet1.Range("A1").End(xlToRight)).Value
But this only copies the value of A1 in Sheet1 to A1 in Sheet2. How should I modify it to copy the values for the whole range to the second sheet?

Please see attached sample worksheet. Column A will be generated by the user manually.
I'm looking for a way in VBA to have A1:D20 in Sheet2 copied and pasted in the "Bank Reconciliation" Sheet based on how many "Markets" there are in Column A. Then, once that's complete to have A22:D30 (the smaller box in Sheet2) copied and pasted directly below those results.
I have what the macro would hopefully generate to the right in "Bank Reconciliation" (B6:E54) as an example. So if there's a market in A1, copy and paste the box to B6. If there's a market in A2, copy and paste the box directly below the first (B26) etc. etc. until it's done, then paste the smaller box directly below whatever the macro generates.

getting a vba formula to copy values from two columns and paste it in 3rd column on the click of a button.
For example:
if I have 3 rows filled in column A and 5 rows filled in column B then i need a formula to copy 3 rows in A and 5 rows in B and paste it to column C. so column C will have 8 rows now.
The number of rows the value can be entered can vary. [ example: sometimes we may have 6 rows filled in A 2 rows in B ]

I know it's very simple; I'm obviously a beginner. What I would like to do is to have an input box prompt me and then take these values and paste them into columns. One value for each column. Ideally what I would like to have happen is for the values input into the inputbox to be pasted to specific cells. I have attached an image for reference. The beginning of the range B10 and C10 will be fixed but the ending cell range B14 and C14 will be variable based on the number of entries; essentially one less than the total number of forms on row 15.

I'd like to have done is to have a blank column inserted between columns W and X(these values change so the VBA statement should reference the end of the columns) and the values that are now in column Y(April 17th values) pasted as values into the now empty column X. I would like to do this for tabs Ann-Sheet 2. I'm having a bit of trouble with setting up the loop that would go through the desired sheets.

1. For a file moving from one cell to the next, down the column, get the values and seach for the values in file number two.
2. If that value is found, copy a cell from file 1 to a cell of a column on the same row where the value was found on.
3. Do what was done on number two, but with a different column.

I'm trying to copy the non blank cells in an area ("B120:K239"). and special paste (values only) to the next blank row of the actual work area (3 pages) within the worksheet. The area that this needs to paste to is between("B10:K29, B44:K63, B78:K97"). Problem is that if there are more rows to be copied and pasted then there are open rows on the first sheet it gives an error due to the rows outside those areas having different formats (merged cells and that)
Question: Is there anyway to special paste between ranges? I've tried to hide the inbetween rows and that still doesn't work. Could it be possible to add something to this code to ignore hidden rows or to only paste to visible rows?

I am very new to Macro programming. I want to set up a macro which will copy data from few cells in a sheet and paste them as "Values" to certain specific locations in another sheet based on criteria. Have a slightly unique issue that I can't seem to find the specific solution for. I am wanting to filter a range, using row 1, then copy the visible cells (Excluding the title row 1) and paste into the same location, so over the data as Values.
I can do the filtering part and the selection of the visible row. Only trouble is pasting it to the same location.

I have a filtered worksheet -WB1 (filtered by Column "B"). I want to count the number of cells or rows in column "B"(Only the filtered ones) of WB1. Copy out that exact number of cells from another workbook(WB2) from the bottom moving up(Column "A") and paste it into WB1 column "I".

I'm stuck on the final piece of my macro project. I've attached a workbook with two sheets: sheet 1 is what I currently have, and sheet 2 is what I'd like my report to look like when complete.
On Sheet 1:
- column B is called Supervisor Name
- Columns D-O are months of the year, with either a Yes or No in each cell.
I'd like to write a macro that will:
- Take all unique values in Supervisor Name column, and paste these Above the current table.
- For each Supervisor, and each month, I'd like it to calculate, as a %, the number of Yes mentions in each month divided by the total cells (Yes/(Yes+No)).
Sheet 2 contains the output, in the format I'd like to see it.

I have a column of data in a range with some empty cells, I am trying to copy this data and then paste it into another column immediately after the existing data but without the empty cells, I am currently using the record button on the macro and copying to another column and then sort up a-z then copy again and paste. Long winded and sometimes still gives me a empty cell.

My spreadsheet is sorted in numerical order in column A. Column B through AA only sporadically has data, although the data is present in full throughout each row. How can I add to my macro to copy the first full row of data (B#-AA#) and paste until it reaches the next row of full data and then repeat the same process. The biggest issue is once it reaches the last row, I would like it to paste the data in 29 additional rows.

I have rather large Excel file that spans around 245 columns & has multiple users responsible for certain columns. Columns are chunked to provide data about a specific group. Every 72 hours, I need to provide to managers what’s currently on this file in a specific summary format.
I’ve recorded a macro that gets me half way there. Here’s where I’m clueless. After my macro deletes unnecessary columns, what remains are the columns for “Main Data” group + each of the 5 “Business” groups (Investors, Lawyers, Credit, Finance, and Support) which would have identical column headings.
(1) Name (2) Address (3) ID# (4) Control#
Furthermore, for each of the 5 “Business” groups, there are 9 slots (ie- a user can enter up to 9 unique entries for a particular group.)
Example- The Investor group contains 9 slots. Each slot will contain the 4 columns mentioned above. So there are 46 slots in total – 1 for Main Data, 45 (5 groups x 9 slots) for Business groups.
MAIN DATA (columns A-D)
Investor1 (columns E-H)… Investor2 (columns I-L)… Investor9 (columns AK-AN)
Lawyer1… Lawyer9

MY PROBLEM: I need a macro to now cut & paste all data from each of the 45 Business groups slots & then paste at the bottom of the MAIN DATA slot.
The final file would be 4 columns (as listed above) wide. Data from each of the 45 business group slots would be one below the other- all of it underneath the data in the Main Data group.
I attempted to record a macro where I’m copying a section’s data range starting from row2 to row4000 (I know there will never be 4000 entries. I did this just to ensure that all future data would be captured) then pasting that after the last entry in the Main Data.
Example- I’d copy data from Investor1 slot(starting at column E2-H2) & go about 4000 rows down. Then I’d press CTRL+Down Arrow key in column A & then click the down arrow one time to take me into 1st empty cell where I would paste my copied data. I was going to repeat this process for the remaining 44 slots.
I’ve added some extra entries to test the macro & the problem is that the recorded macro is pasting data in specific cell location in column A instead for looking for the 1st empty cell in column A & then pasting the copied data.
So far I've gone thought the net & tried to paste in a few VBA posts/tips that I thought would work. Here's what I have so far from tinkering around. I need someone to tell me what to replace the xxxxxxx line with. This would be the language to tell Excel to paste copied data range into the first blank cell in column A. I paste cell information into cells already formatted to have certain colored backgrounds, ect. However, upon pasting the cell format from the copied cell is obviously applied.

I am trying find a match from multple "text" values.
The values I'm using are flight numbers from sheet "Indiv case" in column (range H2:H51). The flight number could occur multiple time in the column.
The associated flight number sheet "Code & categories" in column (range H2:H257) are associated with the last port of embarkation (range I2:I257) in "Code & categories" sheet.
I need to copy & past the name of the Last port of embarkation from sheet "Code & categories" into sheet "Indiv case" adjcent to the flight numbers in column (I2:I51).
