I am writing code in Excel VBA and trying to control power-point. at the end there is message-box pop up. Everything runs fine.

But at the end I have go bottom windows bar and click on the excel file then message box comes up, otherwise excel tag keeps blinking at the bottom. I want to add something to code so message box in excel file is pop-up automatically without me clicking on excel file.

Excel 2010 :: How To Select Userform Button And Activate With Pressing Enter Key

I have developed a Userform button in Excel 2010 using the developer icons, which when clicked on with my mouse it runs my super dooper macro. It works great!

But one thing I want to have happen is to have the choice of using the Enter key to start the macro or use the left mouse button

For example, I place data in (say) cell A1 and the userform button is in cell A2. When I place the data in A1 and press the Enter key, the cursor moves down to A2, but doesn't highlight the user button. When I press the Enter key again, the cursor moves to cell A3.

What I want is when I fill in the data in A1 and press the Enter key, the cursor moves to cell A2 and selects the button, so that when I press the Enter key again, it activates the macro.

Opening Excel Files - Getting Blank Screen

I have a project report, which is user-configurable, allowing the user to customise the data that is displayed based on a number of parameters.

To ensure the report always prints neatly (the number of visible columns and rows varies, depending on the above parameters), so I have a macro that dynamically sets the print area of the worksheet.

At present, I call the macro from the workbook.beforeprint event, which works fine in terms of printing. Ideally however, I would like the macro to be called when CTRL+P is first pressed - i.e. the resulting 'print screen', containing a preview of the print out should reflect what will subsequently be printed, when the 'Print' button is then pressed.

I am not sure if this makes sense (Excel 2010 and 2013 are different from previous versions).

Pop Up Message To State That Excel Is Updating:Screen Update

i was wondering if there is a way to display a pop up message that a stating that the spreadsheet is currently updating.

What i have is a macro running on Auto_Open when workbook is opened. I have switch off the screen updating. What i want now is for maybe to have a pop up stating the spreadsheet is updating. Setting screen updating to false means that my excel freezes for a few seconds. I think users might be thinking that excel has crashed and therefore would like to include the message that the spreadsheet is updating its information.

Excel Camera Tool - Print Preview Different From Display On Screen

I have place a camera-picture of a table on the right side of a chart. On the screen it looks great! (See below - with some redaction)

.... but when I print it the table expands off of the side of the chart. Scale is 100%, zoom is 100%, Excel 2010 (See below - with some redaction). Whether or not I have a print area does not seem to make a different in the problem. Also, it appears that this happens with any shape I put in that place, it's not specific to the camera tool.

I had a spreadsheet with 17 photos on, one in each cell. I had to resize so you can see them all on the screen. If you have some pictures that are resized to fit in cells, is there any way to double click (or hover?) them and make them actual size or full screen when you want to view them in detail?

I am using Excel 2007. When I pulled up a workbook today with 3 sheets in it, all that comes up is the first sheet and the sheet tabs at the bottom of the screen are no longer there. I must have accidentlly pushed some button, but I can't get to the other sheets. I really need the information on the other sheets. How do I restore the view that shows the sheet numbers at the bottom?

I'm a graphic designer with a few years of experience incorporating Excel content in design layouts, and for the first time I've been asked to use Excel to layout content. The client has a complicated spreadsheet that works as an interactive form, taking responses and running them through a hidden page of secret-sauce analytics before outputing results to a final report.

The thing is, they are hoping to use it in person with clients on an iPad, and then also print out all of the individual pages as a consistent-looking booklet.

I can make an excel page look good, but the printing just isn't going according to plan. When I go to print it distorts the pages. I can resize it to print, but then it doesn't work onscreen so well. And that's for one page: in a best-case scenario I'd need all of the pages to work for print and screen AND use the same scale so that they all look uniform.

I've have a tool/code that takes the screen prints of the active window (when I press F9) and pastes it in a word document.

But whenever I do copy some text or any other image and when I press F9 to take the screen print of the active window. I get the text pasted into the word, this is because the clipboard content has text first and then the screen print of the active window.

Instead When I press F9, I wanted the below to happen

1. Content from the Clipboard should be cleared

2. Take the screen print

3. Paste it in the word document.

Printing Multiple Workbooks With Printing Preference As Landscape

I would like to know if there is a way to print several different workbooks at once but keeping my printing format which I would like to be Landscape and Fit to one page. Reason is simple as I work in a office where staff is handed in several jobs to do everyday. They finish the jobs and log all the info on the database. I log on to database and put all their daily diaries and because it is all over the place I have to go in each file and set printing preferences which takes an hour in the morning and hour in the evening. I could do with some sort of automation where all diaries are automatically printed in Landscape and Fit on one page.

I have a report that is generated from a manufacturing process that looks like the example below. the report is 40 pages long when all the data is printed. i am looking for a way to only print this range if a dimension is "out of tolerance". if the dimension is within tolerance, there is always the "garbage" text of plus and minus. if every row is "within tolerance" in the range the cells in the OutTol column would all contain the "garbage" text but it will not always be identical. so, in summary, actual OutTol values = print and all "garbage" = not printed.

Excel 2007 :: Can't Resize Charts For Printing

I've prepared an excel file (excel 2007) with some tabs that contains several charts (4 to 6 charts). When I want to print this file, the sheets with the charts on it doesn't print properly. I have set the print area to cover the charts only and then set it to fit on 1 page but the charts will not scale to fit.

I read somewhere that this is an excel bug - is there a workaround for this?

I could resize all my charts smaller but only as a last resort.

I need to print to a printer that is not the default printer, a range of Cells e.g. B4:L28 on Sheet Print Out.

The code is to be added to a VBA routine that already exists that collects & arranges the data on the Print Out sheet from other sheets in the workbook. This routine is assigned to a button on another sheet.
