I have set of data in multiple range ,need to fill the and replace the old values depends upon two column values (AH & AL)
IF Active Calls is "TATA" In AH:AH, and IF Action Onwer Col is "Blank",in AL:AL
Then Fill the Blank cells by Values "SVC" in the col Action Owner,Then Replace Old values by "Updates Awaited" in Status Col(AM:AM)

I have set of user-form contains with Combox & 2 textbox and to generate report one cmd button
I have 3 different sheet contains report of daily activities ( Dispatch,Closed,Cancel)
If Dispatchcalls Select In Combobox1 ,Then Filter Start And End Date In Two Textboxes Then Click Cmd" Export Data To Excel"Extract Data from dispatchcalls Then Save Data Into Excel File As "Dispatchcalls".

I am analysing data to determine buy or sell transaction signals. The problem is that the method can and does produce frequent signals that are merely confirmation rather than new information.
Therefore, I need to select a signal, eg a "buy" signal where the previous transaction signal was the opposite, eg a "sell" signal.
In the attached sheet N10 is a valid signal as the previous signal was a "sell" signal. However, N14 is not valid as the previous signal was also a "buy" signal.
Currently, I am using a simple formulae to determine the signals, e.g. =IF(J26>0,J26,0). Hoevever, I need to modify this by looking back to confirm that a value >0 occurred first in column K rather than column J. If the value >0 occurred first in column J then I need to ignore the buy signal.
I am not sure if the formulae can be modified or if a macro is needed.

I have a worksheet with three columns in it. the first column is the "channel column", the second column is the "status column"; which indicates the status of the channel column wheter it is active or not, the third column is the "circuit name" column which indicates the circuit name for each channel. now, the status of the channel depends on the value of the circuit name column.. if the cell in the circuit name column is blank, the status column has an if formula that automatically changes it to vacant status, otherwise active.
i added command buttons namely "active" and "vacant". this buttons correspons to active userform and vacant useform when clicked. in each userform there is a combobox. My problem is how would i fill the combobox in the active userform with the active channels only , and same in the vacant userform with vacant channels only. the comboboxes list should correspond to changes in the status column, that is if one channel gets an active status it would be deleted from the vacant userform and be added to the active userform

I receive real time data ( Last Trade Price ) of soybean commodity futures through DDE in to excel ( cell A1 ). During market hours A1 will keep updating every milliseconds or seconds.
My cell B1 ( =A1 ) will have same value as A1 and will update at the same time.
What I'm looking for - A macro code so Whenever value in B1 is between 9.5000 and 9.5050, I want run a subroutine ( similar to calling a macro ). Since B1 would change dynamically so everytime B1 comes between range 9.5000 and 9.5050 a subroutine is fired.
I'm planning to CALL following subroutine -

I have 2 sheets similar to below :

I need to compare Column A from Sheet2 with Sheet1 and where the values match, only replace THOSE values in Column B of Sheet1 with those in Column B of Sheet2. Hence, after the replacement, Sheet1 should look like (value for apple remains unchanged).

What would be a formula that would do it ?

I am trying to replace a range of cells with certain values but I can not figure it out. I'm almost there I think but don't know how to get the varying values I'm looking for. So I have a column (AJ in this instance) that has a bunch of "xx" values at different spots within the column. I want to replace those xx values with numbers 01 through 36. What I have below gets me just about there but it replaces every xx value with 01. How do I get it to go 01 on the first one, 02 on the second one, etc?

This problem has come up fairly frequently lately, and I'm not sure how to fix it, or if this is by design...but in Excel 2003 I can't seem to do a "Find and Replace" based on the value of a cell. I can do a find, based on cell value, but the moment I change to the replace tab, the "values" and "comments" are missing from the "look in" dropdown.
I've only noticed this when I'm trying to replace on a filtered list, so I'm not sure if that is part of the issue.
Perhaps an alternative way of arriving at the same goal. Basically I have a worksheet with a number of filtered columns. They are filtered just right, using custom filtering, and so I do not want to undo the filters. In some columns I have formulas that are returning #VALUE! errors. I'd like to replace all of these cells with NA.

I have a data sheet and I usually copy manually the values from different columns. I would like to paste them into another worksheet so that when I paste the values in Column A, I should not surpass Row100, and if so then the code should automatically shift to column B and start pasting. This should apply to all the columns till column F. Once column F is full till row100 then the procedure should start again from column A.

I have a sheet which is a reconciliation exported to excel from our in house system, what i am after is for the code to look at the values in Column F and Column I and copy every entry which is equivalent to $1million AUD TO Sheet AUD1M, I do have a sheet called Exchange_Rates in which the code can look into, they are all equivalent to 1 AUD. I have provided an example in Sheet AUD1M what the macro should do....

I have values in row A and I have values in row C. I want to create a loop to look up xxx and replace it with the values consecutively in row C. Look at example for a better Idea. I found a way to find and replace, but I not sure how to use it with qoutes. I was thinking maybe I dont even need row A and just supply a list and excel could have the chunk of data in the code itself.

I'm trying to hide all columns which have the word "hide" in row 6. I have done a similar thing whereby I hide all rows which have the word "hide" in column 3 using the following

I'm running into an issue trying to calculate unique values in a Data column based on a few variables in other columns.
My current formula in Summary tab D4:D19 is

This is currently counting the number of times a date value (data column I) appears for that name (A4:A19) in the data when meeting all of the conditions. I need it to instead count the number of times a unique date appears for that name with the additional conditions met (which all appear to work fine).
The results in the pink highlighted cells (Summary column D) should be:
Names starting with A - 3
All others - 2
I've left some other columns in the data with X's so that I can easily convert this back to my working spreadsheet.

I have 12 columns of data. In those 12 columns of data I have 3 digit numeric IDs. I want to count the unique number of IDs for each row. I have about 14K rows.
What would be the best way to do so?
Some rules about how the data is stored. I have 12 columns of data with anywhere from 1 to 12 columns having data for each respondent. Data always fills left to right and never skips columns.
I have attached an example file that represents how the data is stored and the output I would like (Unique Count).

I have different reports, some have fifty transactions, others have thousands. My goal is to: Insert a new row every time the values in the "Account" column meet a certain criteria, AND THEN add the totals for the Debit and Credit Columns.
Let's say I start with a table that looks like this:

I want to group the first four rows because Accounts 33010 and 33015 are in the same department. Same with 50050 and 500060. I want to then insert a row below the last row with "33015" as its Account #. And add the values for Debit and Credit. It'd look like this:

Honestly, I have tried everything. Running a Macros with Relative reference does not cut it.

I have a workbook with 20 sheets in English Language, but I must to translate in Russian. Translating has done by human translator, so translation is good. I must change phrases and words in english to russian. I can use find/replace function but doing by hand it's very tie consuming. I need VBA or macro who takes values in column A, finds it in entire worksheet and changes it to matching value in column B. Is it possible and how I can do it?

I have a workbook with two worksheets. The first is called Input and in cells C3 a product code is entered and in cell D7 the value and F10 the description.
The second sheet called History has a range of Product codes in cells AA5:CD5, AA4:CD4 holds values and AA8:CD8 descriptions.
Now for the intersting part, I need a macro to run that looks at the value in cell C3 of the input sheet and if a match can be found in cells AA5:CD5 of the History sheet then the value from D7 would replace the value in AA4:CD4 and F10 would replace the value in AA8:CD8.
Example if cell C3 has RJ12345 as the product, D7 reads £15.10 and D7 reads towel.
The code RJ12345 is foound in cell BC5 then cell BC4 would be replaced with the value £15.10 and BC6 would have the worf towel entered.

When using the replace rule in Excel, you can use "?" to represent a standard variable, e.g. if you had the text "Bottle 100g", and you set the replace rule as "?g", it would delete the "g" and the four characters before it, leaving you with "Bottle".
However, if I have lots of replace rules to make in a file, and I only want to eliminate the numerical values before a letter, how do I go about doing this?
For example, if I had the text "Dog food 10g", and I made a replace rule "??g", it would leave me with " food ". What I would really need, is a way of taking away the numeric values before the "g", which would give me "Dog food".
Therefore, is there a unique identifier for numeric and/or text values?

I want to replace all numbers in the worksheet which are greater than 200 with 200. I mean all numbers greater than 200 should be set to 200. values are not all in the same column or same row, they are spread throughout the worksheet. I tried using the Find and Replace, but it can replace only a specified value with only another specified value. I want to use some kind of a filter which will choose all numbers greater than 200, and make them 200.

I am needing to do a find and replace on multiple values in an excel worksheet. For example in column d when you find ABC123456 replace with XYZ654321. But there are several hundred in a sequence that need to be replace w/ a different sequence.

I have two columns that contain IDs and Values for all our categories in a business directory:
i.e.
1 cars
2 home
3 boat
etc... (121 total)
I need to use the above two columns as a reference and use them to replace the value in the directory that is text (col 2) with the ID (col 1). I have a few thousand entries and need to find a way to quickly replace the text category field with the numerical id from my parent table.
