I need a macro that will count the number of rows that contain values in column C. I then need to Fill cells in column A with the text "product", cells in column D with text "P", and cells in column I with text "Right" until a blank is found in column C.

for code that will test cells e3:g3 in sheet 1 of workbook "AR" for a value of "OK" or "Error". These cells contain If formulas that return "OK" or "Error"

If all Cells = "OK" then I need the macro to put "Ok" in D5 in sheet 1 of workbook "Guide". If 1 or more cells = "Error" then put "Error" in D5.

Also, I know I could use a formula in D5, but I really need the code for my specific application.

I got the following code to sum values for columns from this post in the forums. It works perfectly

VB:

However I would like to do the same for the rows of data in my sheet, with a "Totals" column added on to the first empty column to the right. To provide some background, my worksheet is very similar to a pivot table. So the actual data starts a few columns to the right from A, and it extends to the right for an unkown length. I am using xlToRight to set a variable 'a'.

I like this code because it doesn't Dim any new variables because this will have to be re used about 5 times in the context of a loop and I already have way too many variables going. But if I have to use them it is okay.

I tried modifying the above code with .FormulaR1C1 = "=SUM(RC[-11]:RC[-1])" to no avail.

VBA Code To Shade Rows With Like Values

I am fairly new to VBA and I am having some trouble with a VBA routine that was used in some workbooks I was given and I am trying to reuse that code.

What I am attempting to do is to shade the rows (alternate colors) whose value in Column C is the same until that value changes.

Example:
Row 1, 2 & 3 all have the same value in Column C so these would shade color 15
Row 4 thru 10 have a different value in Column C so those would have no shade
Row 11 thu 13 have a different value in Column C so these would then be Shade 15

So here is what I have done:

I set the range for the routine to step thru, then I defined the row & column to start processing. I then compare the current row to the row above. If the values are different then I compared the colors of the rows, and set the active row to the opposite color.

This routine runs but the first cell in each grouping isn't being shaded but then the rest of the rows are shaded correctly.
I have searched the web and look thru my code several times but to no avail, I cannot seem to understand why this will not work.

Count Rows On Multiple Sheets - Paste Values In Summary Sheet

I am trying to count the number of rows on sheets 11 To 2 in my workbook. I want to count the rows (excluding the header) on each sheet one at a time and place them on a "Summary" Sheet. So for example. The row count for Sheet 11 would go in cell B2 of the "Summary" Sheet. The row count for Sheet 10 would go in cell B3 on the "Summary" tab. The row count for Sheet 9 would go in cell b4 on the "Summary" Tab. I have taken a crack at the sub procedure but can't get the syntax and/or the logic correct.

I would like to paste them into another worksheet so that when I paste the values in Column A, I should not surpass Row100, and if so then the code should automatically shift to column B and start pasting. This should apply to all the columns till column F. Once column F is full till row100 then the procedure should start again from column A.

I need a way to find a value in a column which has one or more corresponding values in an adjacent column. Then take all of the corresponding values found and count all occurrences of the found values in another column. But I only want to count the entries if an adjacent column is not blank.

Not the easiest thing to describe. Starting to wonder if I need to think in reverse. I hope the attached example makes more sense.

Please note that "Select" and "0" are populated by formulas. Count Rows Meeting Multiple Criteria Of Multiple Values

I am trying to find a formula to count rows that meet multiple criteria, but one of the criteria can be multiple values. I have a list of people with a list of clients that they are responsible for. Each person is responsible for 10-20 clients. Every day I run a report that shows the project worksheets submitted for each client and if money has been awarded or not.

I'm wondering if there is a way to count, for each person, the number of project worksheets that show "awarded" in column K. That would mean that I would have to look for, for each person, any of their multiple clients in column B and "awarded" in column K.

I am trying to put the formula in D2:D9, as I use A2:D9 for a chart. O1:P79 contain the names of the people and the applicants that they are responsible for. A17:D158 contains the list of project worksheets (updated daily). I used =SUMPRODUCT(COUNTIF(B17:B999,P1:P14)) to count the actual number of project worksheets for each person, but I can't figure out a way to modify that to add in the "awarded" criteria also.

I require a Formula to calculate the INTERVALS (the number of Rows between
the LAST instance and the PREVIOUS instance in a column) between each
individual occurrence of any designated PAIR of Numeric values (single-digit
/ double-digit) in the same Row of the Named Range "Results" and return each
calculated INTERVAL result to a separate Column on the same Row of a New
Sheet - starting with the most recent ( the LAST) occurrence.

For instance, each time 80 and 87 appear together in the same Row, return the
INTERVAL by calculating the number of Rows between the LAST instance and the
PREVIOUS instance in a column - locate when both Numeric values LAST appeared
together and Count back to their PREVIOUS appearance together to get the
required Count; i.e. count from the Row ABOVE LAST appearance to the Row
BEFORE PREVIOUS appearance.

The results are returned to a chart / matrix layout: I have the criterion
vertically and horizontally and they are referenced using the horizontal and
vertical cell address that houses each criterion, and the results are
returned across the Row of the intercept of the vertical and horizontal
criterion. At some point both criterion values being referenced will be the
same, can the Formula return empty text "" when this occurs?

I have a spreadsheet of over 15,000 lines of student information, sorted by student number. I want to count the number of rows which have a duplicate student number, up to 15 duplicates in a row, and show the total number of duplicates in a Separate Column. I.e.

How to "hard code" a cell's fill color? I want to assign a cell's fill color to yellow. While setting the fill color is easily done, my problem is that as soon as I paste data into that cell, it looses its fill color. Is there a way to tell the cell to never change the fill color?
