Find Products I Have Ordered And List Them With Their Codes And Quantities
Sep 22, 2007
I've created a Excel spreadsheet. In the Spreadsheet I've got one worksheet which has columns and list of codes.
I would like my other worksheet to look through find any products I've ordered and list them with their codes and quantities, creating a summary of just what I want so that I can e-mail just the important bits.
I have a table with client ID in column A (range A2:A200) and qty ordered by those clients listed in column B (range B2:B200). Clients’ ID numbers range from 101 to 999.
Except through filtering, how to return the sum of quantities ordered for stores with ID number between 100 and 199 ONLY?
I have a large Item sheet that also functions as an order sheet so I want another sheet to return only items actually ordered. What is the correct vlookup formula for this situation?
in sheet #1, Column A has the number of orders needed (to be filled in), column B has the name of the product, column C has the price of the product. I want to look through column A after it is filled in and return the value of all three columns only if column A has a value larger than 0 into sheet #2 in the same workbook.
I have a form for calculating costs of products ordered which imports quantity and descriptions from another sheet. The imported info and basic calculation of appropriate cost based on ordered quantity seems to work okay. These formulas are as follows:
First column: =IF(ORDER!A5>0, ORDER!A5, "") inserts the quantity ordered Second Column: =IF(ORDER!A5>0, "Part Description and Part Number", "") inserts the product description
Both those formulas return a blank cell if nothing is ordered. Then using an outlying cell (G3) I enter the following formula to determine appropriate cost based on total order quantity e.g. $2.57ea if total ordered quantity is less than 50 and $2.37 if total quantity is greater than 50.. {Q: How do I put a third pricing level in here??}
It is a product list of office stationary with codes, descriptions and quantities. Using this spreadsheet we input into the quantity how many we want of the item, all well and simple you could call the list a stationary order form.
What I would like to be able to do with this Giant list is to have a function that would extract items off the list into a cleaner consolidated form. As in, if I wanted to order some of item A, C and F, I would like for the second table to just Show ACF without every letter in between or blank cells.
I know a simple method would be to have an IF formula to return the information to a new sheet that I could simply remove blank cell rows (unordered items) and ready for print each time. But I would love to know if there is a better way this could be achieved.
I have basic/intermediate knowledge of excel and can setup the data if need be in order for the function to work, but I can't seem to find the correct function for this project.
i need to create an user form that creates an ordered list when an input for the starting number, the ending number, and the increment is entered by the user. the ordered list must also start in the specified cell that is entered by the user. i understand how to design the user form but the coding necessary for making the macro baffles me.
I have a list of 9 values ranging from 1 to 9 generated by formulas in column A. they can only be "1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8, or 9" and can be repetitive. Is there a formula i can use (not macro please) that will show me what values are missing from the list?
Example
A B 1 4 5 1 2 1 8 7 1
*Note there are 9 values in column A in any order. In this scenario the answer i would like shown is "3,6,9".
Such that a single cell has an ordered (ranked) list of the elements that relate to that AreaID. Also, any element with a value < 1 is returned in brackets, and elements that have a value of 0 are ignored.
Below I have attached a sheet for keeping track of the number of cables a person produces per day using Drop-Down list. I would like to have a totals area automatically calculate the corresponding cells. I started the Totals area in column AF.
I have a list of items and quantities I need of each, such as
cat 3 dog 2 mouse 1 horse 4 snake 2 leopard 4
I'm thinking that it would be a macro that would be way to go for this project.
I want to run a macro that will make the list above the following cat 1 cat 1 cat 1 dog 1 dog 1 mouse 1 horse 1 horse 1 horse 1 horse 1 snake 1 snake 1 leopard 1 leopard 1 leopard 1 leopard 1
So what happened was that 6 lines of information was transformed into 16 lines of information. My purpose is that I will then will exploring various combination of these items, and thus I think that splitting them up like this will make them more manageable to work with. Since the original list values will change I will not always know how many lines to set aside for the individual breakdown.
I am doing a list which has the same products returning several times, but with different values. Want to filter/make a new list, with only one of each product and the summed amount of that specific product. Summing the specific amount is not that big of an issue, but the creation of the list is, least in a smart way i have tried this:
[Code]......
This being the last possible entry for the summed list.
My problem is that the formulas is getting too big for my computer :S, since this formula is copied more or less 10 times.
Here is an example of what i want: Product list.xlsx
i have been trying to find in C1 the 1st product in a list of products that is in text strings of various lengths and the product will be in different places each time eg; list in A1:A4 is babydoll camisole corset basque, the text string in B1 is Satin strech babydoll with low neck
in B2 the text string is Beautiful lace basque with corset style back. in C1 i'm looking to find babydoll from B1 in the list A1:A4 in C2 i'm looking to find basque from B2 in the list A1:A4 in D1 i'm looking to find any 2nd match from B1 in the list A1:A4, result = "" in D2 i'm looking to find any 2nd match from B2 in the list A1:A4, result = corset in E1 & E2 i would like to find any 3rd matches
i have been reading up on this and trying formulas but i cant figure out how to find from a list and the text string data is not in a standard order.
I get a ledger dump every month with 20,000 lines of all transactions. There are 1,200 ledger codes, ten departments, and thirty activities. Each of the 20,000 lines has columns with the ledger code, a department, an activity, and other data. There are tens of thousands of possible combinations of ledger code, department and activity.
I have most of the ones which are commonly used every month, and I use them to create a =sumif summary which totals all the same concatenations of ledger code&department&activity. However, every now and again a new permutation arrives and I need to find it and then create the new concatenation for the =sumif to use in the summary. Is there any way to do this by running a routine which will locate the new combination and create the concatenation in the =sumif summary?
I am using the following vba code to find numeric codes in a column and replace them with the same code along with descriptive text:
Range("Q:Q").Select Selection.Replace What:="11", Replacement:="11 - GSA" Selection.Replace What:="10", Replacement:="10 - NYS OGS" Selection.Replace What:="1", Replacement:=" 1 - Dist Sale" Selection.Replace What:="2", Replacement:=" 2 - Direct Sale" Selection.Replace What:="3", Replacement:=" 3 - No Sale: Warranty Exchange" The problem as you might already see is that when the replacement of "1" happens, Excel will replace the 1 in the 10 and 11. Of course I want to only replace the number 1. Is there a better way to code this operation?
My question is how many parts havinig end with C?Also arrange these parts in ascending order in a new column. Refer to the attached file and expected result also.
I'm trying to write some VBA code to do the following (don't think its possible using formulas only). In column A i have a list of codes (A1:A32) in column B i have a value (between 1 and 32 in this case, but feasibly could be any integer) I am trying to achive an output in column C which would take the code from col A and then "count up to" the value in col B;- for example "AAA" in col A, and "4" in column B would return AAA1, AAA2, AAA3, AAA4 in column C. For the next code say BBB and corresponding value, would start its sequence in the next empty cell below AAA4 in col C.
I have trying for 2 days now to write a macro/VBA that looks up IF the stock codes (i.e., in column A and G) match THEN insert the ID_ISIN from column H in the empty ISIN column C.
I got 2 sheets. (1 called "Revenue", the other "101") in the sheet revenue are department codes (variable 100 to 999) they are situated in row "B". the corresponding data in row "D".
this data needs to be transported to the sheet "101"
in the sheet "101" are put the numbers 100 to 999 in row "A"
in row "B" we need the data from the revenue sheet that is corresponding with the department code.
I have a large sheet of data I'm trying to sort through. Each row of data has a column that contains a long string description. Each of these strings contains a three letter codes in all caps that I want to be able to pull out. I have a seperate sheet that has all of the possible three letter codes in one column. Is there a formula that can compare each string of text to this list of three letter codes and if it find a match put that code in a column on the original sheet?
Doc Number String Code
33333 This is an example string of text. An example three letter code would be HCB. The location of the code within the string varies. HCB
33332 This is an example string of text. An example three letter code would be CDQ. The location of the code within the string varies. CDQ
33331 This is an example string of text. An example three letter code would be RCA. The location of the code within the string varies. RCA
I am using Excel 2011 on a mac. I have a selection of data that lists a repeating code (say group 1, group 2, group 3 etc)and a value (-1,-2.3,3,6 etc) and need to find a quick way group together all the codes and next to that a value that counts how many values who share the same code hold a value greater than -1? I can do this myself in a pivot chat with count totals but my issue is how I can show the number of codes greater than -1.
Attached is an example of the data I want to sort.
I call prospects to generate business. I want to respect their time by calling before 8:00 PM so I need to know their time zone. I have a column in Excel that lists their area code, but I don't know their state.
I have tried everything imaginable to duplicate the results of the previous post to no avail. I'm using Excel 2011 on a Mac.
I'm using =VLOOKUP(B2,$I$2:$J$364,10) for my formula, where
B2 is the area code $I$2:$J$364 is the range where the area code/time zone data lives (I = area codes, J = Time Zone) 10 is column J, i.e. the Time Zone column that "feeds" the answer.
I've attached a screen shot to show what I'm doing.Screenshot at Feb 05 15-33-01.jpg
I've written a procedure that loads a list of country selections in a dropdown (see attached/vb editor/ThisWorkbook).
The problem is the valid values for this column need to be just the two digit country codes, not the country code +dash+country name. The reason the dropdown selections include both the two digit country code and the country name is because most users will not know the two digit codes. Presenting the selections in this fashion will make t much easier for the user to make the proper selection.
So here is what I need: When the user makes a selection from the dropdown list, the resulting value needs to be the two digit country code only. Is there a way to incorporate this formula .... =MID(B2|1|2) ... in the vba procedure which runs after the user makes a selection? Or, is there another way to accomplish this?
I'm trying to convert various codes from one column of an excel spreadsheet into different codes in another column. I was able to accomplish this with "If" statements, however I'm only able to string together seven of these statements in one command. Is there a better way to add formulas for more than seven conversions? Below is a copy of what I've done so far with the seven converts:
The document shows a table on the left that puts the data from the table on the right into order by total (and if same, alphebetical by name). However the formula used to achive this is not compatable with previous versions of excel. Need alternative function that will bring the same outcome but work with pre 2007 versions (ie .xls file extention).
I have two sheets in my workbook: One containing names with French and other European characters, the other containing a list of ISO entities for these characters, like these:
à#224 á#225 â#226 ã#227 ä#228 å#229 æ#230
I need to replace these characters in Sheet 1 with the equivalent ISO entity from Sheet2 and print the value into the same cell in Sheet1.
I want to create the chart below. I have data that is coded with a binary flag (0 = red, 1 = blue) that is also ordered. For example, the data I would use to hypothetically create the left hand column below looks like this
I've got a worksheet with five columns of data. One of the columns contains country codes. I have a list of countries that the codes relate to. I would like a new column in the worksheet that contains the country name. I'm not sure if this is possible, but it seem that most things are with VBA! The countries and their codes are on 'Sheet2' I relalise I might have to do some boring re-ordering of the data on 'Sheet2'
I was working on a chart to calculate my Amazon seller rating to see how many more perfect order I need to hit my next target grade. Here is how the calculation works.
Order with no problem gets 100 points per order Minor problem gets 0 point Moderate problem minus 100 points Severe problem minus 500 points
Grade are evaluate by: <84.5 Fair <96.5 Good <98.5 Very good Above is Excellent
Total points / total orders = final grade (or percentage)
As of now i got : 53800 (points) / 624 (orders) = 86.22(%)
Now that I know what grade I've got so far and I also want to know how many more perfect orders I need to achieve my next targets or in case some bad orders come by and how far they pull me down.
Attached is my work sheet so far and I'm just missing the calculation for the orange shaded part.
