I have a table with client ID in column A (range A2:A200) and qty ordered by those clients listed in column B (range B2:B200). Clients’ ID numbers range from 101 to 999.
Except through filtering, how to return the sum of quantities ordered for stores with ID number between 100 and 199 ONLY?
I've created a Excel spreadsheet. In the Spreadsheet I've got one worksheet which has columns and list of codes.
I would like my other worksheet to look through find any products I've ordered and list them with their codes and quantities, creating a summary of just what I want so that I can e-mail just the important bits.
I have a large Item sheet that also functions as an order sheet so I want another sheet to return only items actually ordered. What is the correct vlookup formula for this situation?
in sheet #1, Column A has the number of orders needed (to be filled in), column B has the name of the product, column C has the price of the product. I want to look through column A after it is filled in and return the value of all three columns only if column A has a value larger than 0 into sheet #2 in the same workbook.
I was working on a chart to calculate my Amazon seller rating to see how many more perfect order I need to hit my next target grade. Here is how the calculation works.
Order with no problem gets 100 points per order
Minor problem gets 0 point
Moderate problem minus 100 points
Severe problem minus 500 points
Grade are evaluate by:
<84.5 Fair
<96.5 Good
<98.5 Very good
Above is Excellent
Total points / total orders = final grade (or percentage)
As of now i got : 53800 (points) / 624 (orders) = 86.22(%)
Now that I know what grade I've got so far and I also want to know how many more perfect orders I need to achieve my next targets or in case some bad orders come by and how far they pull me down.

going down are stores a, b, c, d.... what i'm filing in across is the square feet of each store and what quartr or year each store came into place. so there will either be a 0 or a number Now, I want to be able to count the number of nhew stores each quarter. how do i create a formula that just recognizes it the first time there is a number and not a zero... because i will put the square feet in subsequent quarters after it opens so i can see yearly how many square feet the store had. then also, how can create a button on the page that will say quarterly numbers and a button that is annual. so that i can hide the quarterly columns and just see an annual spreadsheet... and for the quarterly button so i can hide the annuals and just see the quarters....
View 6 Replies View RelatedI am trying to put all my parts with quantities on a seperate sheet called "Parts List" Every time you select a quanity for one of the parts, I want it to pop up on my parts list. This will make it easier to identify the exact parts I want and also the quantity I need. This will be much more convenient then scrolling down my parts list and trying to find the one's with quantities.
I think I need to use a vlookup or even a Macro but I don't know how to go about doing this.
I am wondering about the best syntax for using a VLOOKUP return as the row number in a CORREL function. I want to create rolling correlations from today's date. I have a VLOOKUP function that will return the row number corresponding to the chosen day's date. I now need to use that returned value in the CORREL function. That is, I would like it to look something like:

When I enter this, I am told that I have an error. Is there a better way to nest this vlookup?
I have the following data; B1 and B2 are entered by the user and are named 'heat' and 'race' respectively. Conditional Array Formula Example.xlsx I'm after the ROW number that matches the minimum time (col C) for the heat and race combination shown - in the example below (heat: A, race: 100m), I'd like row '5' returned (or, better still, row '2' of the array A4:D11), as that's the lowest time for Heat A, 100m.

ie I simply want the row number (ideally relative to the range) for the lowest time for any given inputs 'Race' and 'Heat'.
I am using a MID fn to extract a single digit from a numeric string. I then use an IF Function to return a value based on the extracted digit. My IF statement works fine on manually entered digits but doesn't recognize my MID fn result. What am I missing?

The numbers are important, because I want to repeat this pair of cells with slightly different text values in the second pair, and then to have a column that multiplies the two resulting numbers and conditional formats the result.
I'm trying to figure out how to write a VBA Match function that can look for multiple criteria and return the row number of a successful match.
I have about 255,000 rows of data on the worksheet "Filtered". Column B contains my Item Number and Column D contains the supply source. I want to find the row where ItemNumber and SupplySource match my variables and then return the value from Column C.
I can do a match for one criteria, but where I'm having problems is getting it so the two matches are on the same row.
I am trying to use some vba match function code to return the column number of the matching date. The date will be stored in a date variable.
Every time I run this code I normally get a match error even though the date is in the worksheet and the variable matches that date.

I am trying to rank stores based on a quantity of run outs they have. I have a list of stores in order with the run out quantities. I use the large function to figure out the rank but when you have two stores with the same quantity it only finds the first on in the list.

I would like to write an error handler which stores the file which errored (copied from the loop iteration) and the error description to an array. The error handler should then close the file and continue with the next iteration - e.g.

Using Excel 2010
The document shows a table on the left that puts the data from the table on the right into order by total (and if same, alphebetical by name). However the formula used to achive this is not compatable with previous versions of excel. Need alternative function that will bring the same outcome but work with pre 2007 versions (ie .xls file extention).

i need to create an user form that creates an ordered list when an input for the starting number, the ending number, and the increment is entered by the user. the ordered list must also start in the specified cell that is entered by the user. i understand how to design the user form but the coding necessary for making the macro baffles me.

Such that a single cell has an ordered (ranked) list of the elements that relate to that AreaID. Also, any element with a value < 1 is returned in brackets, and elements that have a value of 0 are ignored.
I have a form for calculating costs of products ordered which imports quantity and descriptions from another sheet. The imported info and basic calculation of appropriate cost based on ordered quantity seems to work okay. These formulas are as follows:
First column: =IF(ORDER!A5>0, ORDER!A5, "") inserts the quantity ordered
Second Column: =IF(ORDER!A5>0, "Part Description and Part Number", "") inserts the product description
Both those formulas return a blank cell if nothing is ordered. Then using an outlying cell (G3) I enter the following formula to determine appropriate cost based on total order quantity e.g. $2.57ea if total ordered quantity is less than 50 and $2.37 if total quantity is greater than 50.. {Q: How do I put a third pricing level in here??}

Items in Column A1 are calculated by (B2/4+5)*1.4 Items located under the columns 2000, 3000, 4000, etc... 10,000 are calculated by taking the top number, eg 2000/(A1 cell value)+the column B number. 2000/7+0 = 286 (rounded numbers)
I need to find an way to look up for x number (2000,3000,4000, etc...) find the smallest number in that column and then return the value in column A1.

I have built a pivot table that shows parts used during a period of years. I need creating a formula that would sum each part by a particular year.
The table is as follows
A part number
B date
C total quantity
I want to display the totals on a separate sheet.
formula on the attached sheet. I need to update it now. The strengths are going to stay the same, but the weaknesses (purple headers on spreadsheet) only have to show up if the value associated with it is 3 or greater. (So traits with quantities of 1 and 2 will not show up as a weakness)

What I want to do is
If length is less than 3mts I require 2
If length is more than 3 meters than I require 3 and 1 more for every 3mts after that
e.g:
2mts = 2
3mts = 2
4mts = 3
6mts = 3
7mts = 4
9.1mts = 5 and so on
I want to match the quantities of buy and sell appearing the same line but in different columns based on FIFO. In case of mismatch, the excess quantity should be transferred to a new line below the same column in which there is a mismatch.
