So on a primary 'y' axis against I have plotted some stacked clusters (3 categories, each with 2 columns and 2 stacks) and now I want to add a percentage line on a secondary 'y' axis to show the % rates for each category.
How do I plot them? I don't want to use Jon Peltiers utility, as I already have it, but still don't know how to use it to achieve the view.
I wish to plot a Stacked column graph of dates work is completed. Several peoples names along the bottom and dates up the side. The stack shall be broken into 6 steps, each step denoted by the date it was completed.
I would also like a marker at the top of each stack indicating the deadline date.
I'm working from a large table of dates.

We are trying to create a stacked bar graph with an average line. Each time we try to add in the average data to the graph it adds it to the stacked bar. The stacked bar should represent the inpatient & outpatient cases at a hospital for the current year (months showing across the as columns). The line should represent the previous 2-yr average total. Anyone have an idea how to add a line to the stacked bar graph? It has us stumped.

I'm having trouble combining three lines into one. I'm trying to do a daily weight chart and the x-axis is days of month, and the y-axis is the weight. I have 3 rows for the weight (one red line for weight going up from previous day, one green if the weight goes down from previous day, and one yellow line for equal). I want to make the three into one showing the colors. Right now all they are are vertical lines and are not connected.

And can create a scatter diagram fine. However, I've been asked if it's possible to show on the graph, for each point a line to it's respective X and Y co-ordinate. For example, for row 4 (in red), on the same scatter graph, I'd like there to be two lines for this point,
Line1 drawn from (0.1, 0) to (0.1, 0.26) and
Line2 drawn from (0,0.26) to (0.1,0.26)

I have an excel worksheet that contains two sets of data. These numbers are then plotted onto a line graph to show the two sets of data against each other.
The graph is working fine, but only for a specific amount of data. The data is split into mutiple lines. From cells A1 all the way to BI1 is one row. I then have information in A4 to BI4. I would like to plot this information on a graph as a single continuous line. Is this possible?
Basically, My graph source is currently =Data!$A$2:$BI$3. This gives me two lines that I want. How do I get the data from A4:BI4 to join up to the first line in the graph.

I can create 2 separate charts. One for the yes/no of one set as a 100% stacked column. I then use 'no fill' on the No column to stop this from being seen.
I can create a 100% line chart for the second data type, and 'no fill' the 100% line that appears.
However, I can't merge the two charts to show the Yes % for one dataset as bars and the Yes % of the other as a line.
I am using Excel 2010 on XP.
I have a file sheet named "ratio summary." The data to this is linked to a number of different working sheets (not in the attachment for obvious reasons)
Currently the data in the ratio summary is grouped by year but "open" and the Graph worksheet is automatically linked to the data in row11.
However when I group the data by year (i.e. clicking the "-" figure) the graph also changes.
I haven't deleted the data so don't understand why the graph data is changing.

I have been trying to chart temperature differences over 10 day's time for six cities using a line graph. For some reason, the lines are all clustered at the bottom of my graph, with values of 0. My spreadsheet is accurate, without any blank cells. I'm using Excel 2010.

This is simple to do by itself but what I would like to do in addition to this is to have the top 25% of the scores a single color, the middle 50% of the scores a second color and then the bottom 25% of the scores to be a third color. And if it is possible to have the ID visible when you move your cursor over a given dot in the graph. Currently when I make a scatter graph the X,Y coordinates show when I hoover the cursor over a dot.

I managed to add the first part of the 2nd. Stacked bars. (Orange) I played a little with the Width and Overlap – and got the result shown in Sheet1. (When The "two fives" will change into 0 - the two orange bars will start from the X-Axis (Zero "Y" level)/ So far so good.
What I need now is to add the last Series (F2:F9) to be put ON TOP of the Orange Bar – but without success. If you'll take a look at Sheet2 you will see what I came up with. I have a stacked column graph showing data for 5 categories for 4 years (4 columns, 5 categories each).
I would like to display a Total above each column. I was able to do this on a single chart by just adding a text box and manually adding the total amounts. However, I would like this to be updated dynamically, as the data will be changed frequently.
Is it possible to:
(a) Have the total display as a data lable, or
(b) Have a text box containing a cell reference
I'd like to create a stacked column chart that compares monthly results from the sales staff but can't get excel to show what I need.
Each salesman has a total monthly sales figure which includes an element of profit and I'd like to see the splits in a stacked column chart. E.g in May, Simon's total was £7295 of which £863 was profit.

The chart should have a column for each salesman and show both the total figure and the profit for each month in the same column so with May and June figures there should be 6 columns on the chart.

I am trying to develop a dynamic stacked bar chart, I have a consistent number of columns defining the x axis and a variable number of rows defining the y axis (the stacked data). View 7 Replies View Relatedi have a chart made but it will only read numbers what i looking for it to do is read cells filled. beacuse none of the cells will have numbers in them. example column I,J,K,L will have a letters in them. starting on row 2 on down till the end. what i'm looking for is if I2 has a letter in it it will read as one for the chart. and will ignore the other columns if K7 has a letter it will read as one and ignore the rest of the columns. this will go on till the end of the sheet. and all rows with nothing in them will be ignored. is this posable?
i think it is bacisly giving a value to a letter and having the chart inturpat that value as 1 and then adding them up. if posable i just thought of maybe the letter could be turned into a date to give an ongoing graph for the info. maybe thats the wisest thing to do to show what each day looks like. hmm i have to play around with it. just typing this out i think i figured a way to do it.
Is it possible to have stacked text in a cell? Turning wrap text on doesn't quite work since an "ol" is the same width as an "m".
