On this chart, I don't want to display the steep line segment between the first and second datapoints. I only want to display the datapoints. I also want to not display the segment of the label associated with this segment.

I have XYZ Coordinates for a continuous 3-D line that has numerous segments. I want to input a distance along that line, and have it create the XYZ coordinates at that point. See Image for reference.
Row 2 is my start point - I input the initial coordinates here - this point is the origin of the 3-D line
Column B is where I want the calculated Y value to go for each point
Column C is where I want the calculated X value to go
Column D is where I want the calculated Z Value to go
Column E is the how far along the 3-D line that the (to be calculated) point should be at. (MD1)
Columns G, H, & I are given to me, and I use this data to generate the coordinates in Columns J, K, & L
Column O is the cumulative length of the line at that coordinate. (MD2)
Basically, I had planned on writing a formula to:
Find the coordinates of the point who's MD2 (column O) is before the desired point's MD1 (column E)Find the coordinates of the point who's MD2 (column O) is after the desired point's MD1 (column E)Subtract MD's (column O) to get the length of the segmentFind the distance along that segment that MD1 (column E) fallsUse that distance to traverse along that line to the desired point.
I have a userform in excel....the listbox "listbox1" has over 1000 items....and i have a label "label5" also.
What i want is if I select for example 10 items from the listbox1 to be shown in the label5 directly....and of course if i select or deselect any item will be applied in the label
For example...selected items from listbox are;

I generate a large dataset of X- and Y-coordinates. Togeter, these datapoints form random curves. So, in excel, I want to calculate the Y-coordinate of the center of mass of these datapoints.

I have a spreadsheet where there is a white line that is over a row line. No matter what I do I cannot seem to delete it.
I zoom in but I cannot select it.
I change the border of the cells and it will not disappear.
I am completely lost as to what else it could be, no doubt it is a simple answer that is staring me in the face. I inherited the spreadsheet so not sure what was done in the past.
Problem: String is broken into 2 parts within a delimeter.
Goal: To keep each String/Segment intact regardless of Alpha/Numeric.
I have a .csv file with 26 segments (commas). This file contains customer data: PO#, Order#, Carton ID, Address 1, Address 2, Address 3, etc.
I've written code to capture all 26 segments as: Input #1, Seg1, Seg2, ... ,Seg26. The variables work fine until it encounter a string with Numeric first then Alpha within the same segment.
For this example we have a string such as (...,187 Main Street, PO Box 369,...)
Seg4 = Address
Seg5 = PO Box
The Segment Variables in Input #1, get shifted when it encounters the numeric portion of the address...so the result becomes:
Segment4 = 187
Segment5 = Main Street
Segment 6 = PO Box 369.
So on my next loop when ReadLine is executed...all the variables are shifted and I can't focus on the specific segment that I need to do something to it.
It delimits when it encounters Numeric then Alpha within the string, but accepts the entire string into the variable when its Alpha then Numeric within a delimeter.
How I can keep the entire string in tact within each delimeter?
Im sure this has been addressed before but i need a macro that would act like a "Contains" function. I have Column B that has user comments. These are sentences like "I have a billing issue" or "My item is damaged". My goal search these for keywords and then have a value (category) populate in Column C
Heres an example. the Category is Damaged Goods: Keywords associated with it are "broke" "broken" "replacement" "damaged" "not working"
Another category is Billing: keywords include "bill" "credit" "account"
I need a macro that will search all the comments and if "broken" (for example) is found anywhere within the comment, the value "damaged goods" will be populated in the same row, column C

I need to insert blank rows at the end of the each data segment to add totals for each individual. Is there a macro that I can use for this? I'm attaching an example file.

The reason that I have it as a public sub is that I am calling it to Private Sub extBox12_Change() as well as a couple of other textboxes so that when ever TextBox12 or the other textBoxes gets changed, the value will recalculate. The "other textBoxes" change the values of label443, 444, 445, 385, 386, 387 etc..
Need to delete the line on this worksheet and post how they did it.

I have this Command button that switches on and draws a line. If you press it again then I need to delete that line.

The way the txt file is that two rows make up one row, but SAP spits the data out into two rows. Now there are specific things that I need from these tabs. The way i can get this data is to perform sort by descending on the tabs. When you sort by a descending you get the data that i need [at the second half of the worksheet]:

Some cells of column Z contain of many lines (up to 100 line) which i want to reduce to one. I want to select one line through double clicking in the listbox of the userform and all other lines should be deleted and only the clicked one should remain. Code should then jump to the next non empty Z cell.
Columns B, C, D, E, F, G and H should also be shown in the userform and they should be live editable. I have attached and example file with userform and example data.

I'm working for a local authority who have been given a mass of survey data. In this particular task, residents of each small district within our area have been asked their levels of satisfaction with a service, and how important they think that service is. I want to plot these two values against each other using a scatterplot, and label each service.
Excel does not automatically allow this so I used a very good sheet from the forums here: Attach labels with names to the points in a scatter plot. It's the top file, and works well. However, I can't seem to customise it for my own data.
Problems include:
- Excel often freezing when I try to run it
- Not all the data being picked up for the chart
- Incorrect labels being picked up..........

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have the data to import / read in a pdf, in a doc, or in an Excel worksheet whichever is easier to use. I need to import the data, parse it into the correct cells for that row and then repeat the import until the end of the file. Not all the cells are in each group of data to import, so those cells will be null for that row. Some of the data for one cell may be in up to 14 lines in the data file. I have be concatenating these data rows into one cell. There are 48,000 lines in the file to import or I would do this manually. I am assuming that doing this in VBA would be the most efficient method.
