How To Display Previous Cell Value In Case Of Error

I have a number value in (e.g.) cell A1, and I want to display it in cell B1.
The number in A1 updates automatically from a website (and through a few regexp and other functions). Most of the time it displays a number, but sometimes it can be an error if for example the website connection doesn't work or something else is wrong.
I want to display the number of cell A1 in cell B1, but if the number in A1 is an error, I don't want to display an error, or a zero, or a dash, or anything of the sort you'd normally do, like =IFERROR(A1,"error"). I want to see the number there was in B1 before the error occurred. In other words I want to update the value of B1 only if there is a number to update with.

I am using the following formula to show the first day of previous 6 month cycle.
=DATE(YEAR(TODAY()),MONTH(TODAY())-6,1)
That formula would display: 07/01/2009
I want to have another formula show the last day of the previous month.
Basically it would display: 12/31/2009

I have been trying to get a certain selection of cells to display inputs as capitalized no matter if entered in lower case. I looked through this forum and found some, I did try some of the suggestions, and I am having no luck. I am wondering what I am doing wrong?

I've got a pretty intense macro already written, a lot of Select Case components. At the end, if nothing matches I'd like to just copy the cell above to the cell below. However, there is a range of about 400 cells in length, so I'd need some sort of wildcard for range.

Attached is an example of what I'm looking for. Example: Column A has all the month names with a defined named range of crnt. D6 has a data validation display with a value of Nov 09, I need E6 to display Oct 09 automatically from the data in Column A. Basically I need cell E6 to always display the previous months text based off cell D6. I think the example sheet explains it better.

I have two sheets. sheet2 is a lookup table. sheet1 is information sheet. i have created a userform where a user inputs data into 3 textboxes and clicks a button. i have the code for transferring the data from the textboxes into row after the last used row on sheet1, columns a,b,c. in columns d and e i have vlookup code that takes the value in column c and performs the lookup function to return values found in sheet2. this all works fine.
I am trying to display the vlookup results in a 4th textbox on my userform.
If I use this code:

I have 30 different cases working well in one module so far. Now I need to add some more cases, but the system doesn't allow me to start defining any new cases under Select - Case, it shows: compile error: procedure too large.
I'm thinking maybe there's a way to combine multiple cases like Case 30, 31, 32 in one statement, and use if, else to define each one?? So the coding won't return the "Procedure Too Large" error? see my original coding as below:

I have some code below. I have error handling in place for when it tries to open a specific file. If it isn't there then user has option to continue and ignore this file, or browse and select a new one.
The problem is, when the user wants to ignore the file, the "Resume Next" continues to run the VBA assuming the file was ok i.e. the code after the line to open the file. What I would like is for it to skip the succeeding code and go to look for the next file.
Below is the VBA:

I am using a Uderform in order to check if some cells in several columns are higher or lower than values I set in my textboxes.
However, I think I am having a mistake in my code (it runs but doesnt return the correct informations) as I have blank cells in certain columns.
Concretely I am giving 1 point if the criteria is valid (if for example the value in the cell is <= 1) but some of these criteria are 1 when they should be 0.
As I said it runs but I need to add a fix for empty cells / blank cells and if possible N/A error cells in this so that the code gives 0 to the criteria and moves to the next column (next select case)..

I am using GETPIVOTDATA function with an incomplete pivot table. The pivot table will eventually be complete but in the mean time i need the cells that are returning the #REF! error to actually display "0". Any way I can do this?

Is there a way to add a comma and space between a lower case and upper case letter?

I have some code that parses an html table. I want to put in error handling in case the format of the page changes or the internet page is unavailable. I am testing without an internet connection and the run time error is not being branched off to the error handler and is fatally ending the macro. This is true also if I raise an error manually.

I need a program for my user form such that it displays an error message.
I have created an user form with employee name ,task and remarks.
I need a program in such a way if an user clicks the "submit" button without entering all the fields in the user form, an "error message" should be displayed.
The submit button has to work only if all the fields are filled by the user.

When I use a simple formula such as:
=upper(a1)
that will obviously change whatever is in a1 to Upper Case - but it will put it in the cell that holds the formula.
What I want to know is:
Is there any way I can format the cell to run the formula when the information has been pasted into the spreadsheet

When the whole row in excelsheet is full for particular date that means all the values of columns (Legal Charge,GA and DNM) have been entered for particular date then display an error message if the another user tries to enter the values for the same date .
It means the user can enter the values for same date only if values of Legal Charge,GA and DNM are empty,otherwise an error message should pop up.

I have a userform with a combobox (cmbSearch) , a textbox (textbox1) and a listbox (listbox1)....and a commandbutton (cmbFind). This userform is used for searching records in my worksheet....where user selects a "Search By" category from the combobox and then enters relevent text search criteria in the textbox....and all the search results are shown in the listbox. This part works fine untill someone tries to search a "non-existent" record. e.g. a customer name thats not in the database and it gives an error. I would incorporate in my code to have a Message box pop up on these type of searches saying "textbox1.value Not Found!" insetad of error message.

I am automatically generating a hyperlink to another document. The link that generates is: (I don't know if this qualifies as code, but I'll tag it anyhow...)

The thing of it is, the hyperlink takes me to the right place, it just gives me an error message every time saying "Reference not valid". How can it be taking me to the right place, and still giving me the error?

Trying to word this right. I have one cell with a date of 01/01/2010. I have other cells that I want to be equal to this cell plus 1 or more months.
For example A1=01/01/2010
I want A2 to = 02/01/2010 based on one calendar month entered into A1. So if A1 changes 03/01/2010, A2 will = 04/01/2010.

I'm trying to copy data from one excel sheet to another excel sheet. However, the data to be copied is dependent on the 'client name'.
To explain this further, in the first list I have a detailed report on our clients and the services provided to every employee of that company/client.
However, the sheet two only needs the names of the employees that belong to a specific client.
This can be done manually by setting a fliter on the name of the client/company, but I need to be automated. To ensure only that specific company/client company's employee name is copied.

Trying to get a record of who authorized spending in one of my worksheets and when they did it
I had some VBA code in one of my worksheets which added a time stamp and a user ID to two different cells after the user enters their name. Why it is no longer working, though I suspect after moving the worksheet around.
I would like my users to type their name into cell G65 (which is actually merged from G65-K65). Once the user enters their name, cell L65 (which is actually merged L65-O65) populates with the current time stamp. Also, when the user enters their name into cell G65, I would like cell P65 (which is actually merged into P65-S65) to auto populate. I would like this all of this to go down through line 70.
