How To Lookup Pre-determined Value Based On IF Statement

I am working in cell T3 of 'workbook A'.
I want to lookup a value from cell C4 in 'workbook B' if the value in cell G3 of 'workbook A' equals "Yes". If the value of cell G3 in 'Workbook A' equals "No" I need the value to be 0.
I have a list of dates going through several years of data - month ends and starts don't always coincide with calendar months. I need to figure out a way to get the oldest date of the previous month, for example. Tried vlookup but could figure out how to do it for one year only, hence not as applicable with several years of data.
I am trying to do a lookup from the price list based on the below data file, my problem is I need the price that falls within the qty range from the price list, the price list is not consistent and changes with every item. I would like one formula that is sophisticated enough to work no matter where the qty range lies.

I need a formula that would be able to calculate the distance from the start of a code to the end of a code. An example table is below. The start and end of a code is indicated in the CONT. column. (Start of first code = S1, end of first Code = F1, Start of second code = S2, end of second Code = F2, etc.) Maybe a table could be used (E1:F2) that shows the corresponding Start & Finish Codes. Two conditions need to be met before the length (in DIST column) is to be calculated, the Report numbers and the Codes must be the same for both rows.
In the table above: - Code B in report 100 would go for a distance of 7 (12-5). - Code A in report 100 would go for a distance of 6 (16-10). - Code B in report 200 would go for a distance of 6 (10-4).
How the Lookup will break down within an IF statement?

Non-Working If statement. I realize that the Lookup isn't currently here. Including it kind of defeats the purpost of breaking this out into IF's, doesn't it?

I am trying to figure out how to build a drop-down menu with VBA that has 2 built in choices, 'call' or 'put', and based on the selection in the drop-down list (call or put), the value in the cell directly to its left will be 1 (if 'call' is selected) or 2 (if 'put' is selected).
I have tried doing this with the data validation tool, but the problem I have run into is that I do not want to store the items in the drop-down list (call or put) anywhere in the excel sheet.

I download a daily inventory file from my supplier. . I sell only selected products from that file. . I would like to use a list of the product part numbers of the products I sell on sheet 2 (Inventory) and have all the results from sheet 1 (ProductFeed) built into an expandable table on sheet two including all the parts numbers (expandable because I will add or delete part numbers from the list) I have listed and not just one part number but several. . Second issue: the download file contains part numbers in column "A" with variables like 418, 418_color, 418_size etc.... I would like all part numbers that begin with the number 418 and the ones that contain the variable added to be listed in the new table so I will get a list of all part number 418 and the variables which include 418 in them. . I want to return the results of the whole row(s) of the matched data as well in the new table. . I have attached a file of the working data that I have with the data I will use although the ProductFeed will change daily which I intend to copy and paste into the table each day.

Is it possible to use an IF statement based on Dec 31 - of any given year? If Cell B22 contains Dec 31 (year doesn't matter), I need to subtract 1 day from the date in Cell F2. This only pertains to Dec 31. If any other date of the year is in B22, no calculation should take place.

I have a validation list list in column E "Check, Charge, Credit Card, Other". in another column i have what i thought was a straight forward IF statement: =if(E3="Check",9999,"[ ]")
It does not recognize "Check" as the condition. Is there a tweak i can do to get it recognize the data validation.
I want to copy a row based on a certain condition. I have 700 rows of data on sheet 1. If Cells in column A contain an X, copy row A# to sheet 2. If there are more than cell that has an X copy all of the rows, naturally. I'm having a bit of trouble with a macro designed to read the length text in a cell and if it = a certain length then perform an action (in this case Text to column)

The text length I want it to perform the action on is highlighted with "<<" if the length of text does not meet the required number then I want the statement to skip and move onto the next one.
I have the text to column code already done with relative references however the long text string I want the statement activated on is not always present which means that the pattern (0,3) is not always consistent.
I was trying to use an if statement to produce results based on 2 cells. The number in the 1st cell can be the number 1 to 5, but each number has critera with it. Say the cell is A1 and i enter the number 1. Then i want to check the value of Cell A5, if this is less than 40 then the cell A10 should read 250 and if A5 was over 40 then it should read 285. struggled to get a formula properly to work.

I am trying to pull certain members loads from our global design force spreadsheet and because of the naming convention we used for our structural members the 2nd to last character is unique to what I am looking for. I am trying to get a simple condition statement that will display the load only if the 2nd to last character of the name of the element is satisfied.
For Example, if "T" is what I am looking for then :
EDT4 will be true and give me the value accordingly D10T1 Will also be true and return me the value D10B2 Will not be true
I know how to use the Mid() and right() function, but I need to check the 2nd from the right.
