I have a user form with a ListView box , I am trying to get 2 things done;
1- When I type a text or a number by using "Search Box" I like to search the things in the ListView box items and highlight whole row
2- When whole row highlighted I like it to show the "Ref" item (Colum 5) in the text box which is called "Invoice No". Also when clicking the row I like the "Ref" item to show in the "Invoice No" (Column 5) text box.
I have text in one cell and I need a text box to show the text from that cell.
For example, if I have text in B2, on a text box I put the forumla =B2. The issue I'm experiencing is that the text box cuts off the text. There's no logic to why it cuts off the text, it's not limited to number of characters and I've played about with the margins and wrap texting, etc, all to no avail.

how to show a value in textbox form. So i have some columns in an excel file , but i want to show the last cell value of the column Amount in the textbox.
I have two TextBoxes (txtSpan & txtTrib) in a UserForm (frmSizes), when values are entered in these TextBoxes they show (as they are typed) in cells of the spreadsheet. The resulting calculation is in cell B11.
How do I get the value in cell B11 to show in a third TextBox (txtAns) as soon as it is calculated without closing the UserForm or running another code?
From an Excel form combobox I can select one number from a list (from column A). Once selected I want the value in the adjacent column D to show in a text box, with the option to change that text box value, with the change reflected in column D cell.
I want to select a customer name from a ComboBox in a UserForm and populate a TextBox with additional customer information for the end user. The additional customer information is always located in C3 in sheet2 (the result of a formula). However, the text box only refreshes when I click into it. Is it possible to have it refresh without clicking into the userform textbox)? I’ve tried _Change and _Afterupdate. I'm sure this must be easy for anyone but a novice like myself. Users select a row number which then opens up a Userform. Comboboxes and Textboxes on this Userform are then populated with coloumn values (dependant on the row initially selected). If the row number was the same each time I could accomplish this by the following.

but as its a variable I'm trying the following (which I think should work)

I am a green as green can be beginner to VBA coding. My question is, I created a text box on my user form so the user can input a 'billing code' and when they hit submit on the user form, the vba will search the spreadsheet and land on the data entered in the text box.

My question, and it's my first one here, is regarding the use of ListViews in Excel forms. I need to populate it with a range of several columns with data from a spreadsheet.
I have a form “RiseSpan” with three TextBoxes, “txtInSpan”, “txtDepth” & txtOutSpan”. I wish to enter values in “txtInSpan” and “txtDepth”. These values are placed in cells A1 and A2. If both “txtInSpan” and “txtDepth” are greater that zero, I want “txtOutSpan” to show the value of cell C11.
I have 2 different formulas that I need changed in a similar way.
The first formula is for cell AV11: =SUM(BI11,BP11,BW11,CD11,CK11,CR11,CY11,DF11,DM11,DT11,EA11)+10
Every cell starts off blank.
What I need is for cell AV11 to always start off blank until data is entered into one of the other cells. The problem is that since the sum always needs to be +10 only when data is entered in the other cells, I don't know how to keep 10 from showing in cell AV11 when no data is typed in the other cells.
The other formula is for cell CO39: =(CU8)+3
I pretty much need the same thing. If no data is entered in cell CU8, then I do not want cell CO39 to show the 3.
If there is data in the cell then it is to be left. If there is no data in the cell then I would like to show the value 0.
I have tried using a circular reference, using the formula =IF(ISBLANK(B1),0,B1) and other similar formulas but they dont work as the formula overwrites the data in it.
I realize that this is a topic that has been well tread in the forums; I've read many of the responses. Unfortunately even after adapting these responses, my code isn't working as I would hope. I have many textboxes on a userform, and often they can be left without any input from the user. Unfortunately the textboxes serve as the arguments for a function. If the value is zero, the function works as it should. Here is the code I have:

The idea was that when the user left the box, if it was empty it would have a value of 0, but if it had a number, it should be formatted to currency without the decimal point. Unfortunately, the "IsEmpty" line doesn't seem to be working. I tried to just use a simple msgbox to check, but when I tab out of the textbox without typing anything, nothing happens. If sure there must be a simple solution I'm missing.
I have a userform with text boxes. When I click on the GO button on the user form I want it to search from the TextBox to the range of rows on sheet2 from start to end and if duplicate entry is found it should display a message box.
For E.g. After pressing GO button Textbox entry should search Sheet2 (where all the data is entered) from the range starting from B6 to last entry of cell and if duplicate entry is found a message box appears. This entry keeps on getting updated and so it may increase or decrease, and therefore VBA should be such that it searches to the last entry.

How can i define, that i want after pressing enter in textbox1 in sheet1 search name from sheet2. After pressing enter it will continue in search. The first founded value write to sheet1 in cell J2. The next value after next enter write it also in J2 and other enter.
I'm trying to create a supplier database. before I add a new supplier, I need vba to tell me if there is a cell that contains the value i entered in a textbox. i.e.
If textbox value = "prince" then I want vba to search for suppliers that contains "prince" in existing supplier list that includes: disney pixar princess prince charming microsoft
Ideally, it should tell me that suppliers "princess" and "prince charming" is a near match.

is there a way to highlight the content of the TextBox5 when Showing the Userform?
I'm having some trouble setting up my Userform. It's used for someone to insert a password to open up some sheets. I have it working except for 2 problems.
First off it gets started by a sub which has a shortcut key, CTRL + W.
When it opens I would like the TextBox to be ready to be typed on... and I would like the submit button ready for Enter. So when it opens, you just type in the password really quick and press enter without using the mouse at all.
The TextBox starts on the first try, but when I press cancel and then open the UserForm up again, then the cancel command is still selected and I have to select on the textbox.
There is 3 things on this userform... TextBox1, CommandButton1, CommandButton2. All I want is for the TextBox always to show up ready for typing, and the Submit(CommandButton1) to always be ready to press enter.
I have a search spreadsheet where I click a button, and an input box appears where I put a car reg in, and it searches a different sheet, returning results on the row the reg belongs in.
I've had a slight change in spec. I now need the same function to work, but instead of an input box.. I want the user to type the reg in a text box that is already on the sheet, and then click a search button to retrieve the results.
Is there anyway to easily amend the following code to get there?

I'm using a Textbox macro to search my database for a specific date, and return the company name of all entrys for that date, into a ListBox.
Now this is the only way I'm prepared to look at doing, and I have managed to do it...... partially - as stupid as it sounds, I cant get multiple results to list in the ListBox itself, and for the life in me I cant find out how to do it.
Also, once the options have been brought back into the ListBox, I then need code which will then populate further locked TextBox's which the rest of the company info, when selected from the ListBox.
I know its asking alot (or maybe not) but I believe, (unless ive done it a really awkward way, I'm not too far away, I just dont know the code to enter, to be able to do it.

I have a form with a textbox and command buttons, now what I want to do is allow the users to enter property number and street in textbox1 and click commandbutton1 to search. I have a spreadsheet that has a userform attached to it with text fields that enter additional data regarding each record. The userform takes these additional 5 fields and inserts them back into the spreadsheet, the final information to be exported back into Access. ( There are of course other ways to do this, but this is how my supervisor wants it done!)
My problem is that now that I can scroll through the spreadsheet without closing the userform, the userform doesnt show the current row's information as I scroll or change rows on the spreadsheet. It will only show the information that was in the row that it was on before i switched back to spreadsheet.
