ListView Search And Show Cell Data In Textbox

I have a user form with a ListView box , I am trying to get 2 things done;

1- When I type a text or a number by using "Search Box" I like to search the things in the ListView box items and highlight whole row

2- When whole row highlighted I like it to show the "Ref" item (Colum 5) in the text box which is called "Invoice No". Also when clicking the row I like the "Ref" item to show in the "Invoice No" (Column 5) text box.

2) The listview columns have 'greyed' column headings.

ListView Appear With Same Size

I am working on a Listview. Every time I open the file, the ListView doesn't appear to be of the same size I intend it to be. Although I kept the size of the ListView big enough to show all my data, the ListView still goes back to much smaller size.

Add Items To A Listview

I want to add colour background to every other line in a Listbox (like the old computer paper green/white lines) but we know this can not be done, so everyone who knows says use Listview instead. Try as I might I can not seem to add items to the Listview control though.

This has got be one of the dumbest questions, but how the heck do you add items, its so easy with Listbox.

As an aside I wonder why no bright spark has not written a control that replaces Listbox with extra features yet.

Text Box Change Using Listview

I created a form in which TextBox Value will change based on selection in ListBox.
Problem : I have YardNo in Colm 1 of List Box which is having duplicate value.Now when I select 1st value of duplicate Item it shows same value in TextBox. But When I select 2nd Instance of Duplicate Value it shows the 1st value in textbox. Means its not changing the values. Attached file will give you a clear idea.

I have a form which loads information onto some textboxes once a listview item is selected, then the user will change the selected values on the textboxes and then, when the value is verified, the checkbox of the selected item should be checked.

I am struggling a bit with the populating and double click even of a Listview control. I have very little experience with the Listview control.

I would like to populate the control with the table in sheet1 - I have very little idea of how this is done. Then once the control is envoked, I would like it so that when a user double clicks on a cell in the control, the value of that cell will appear in range("a1") of sheet1 - I am not even certain if the second part is possible.

Deselect ListView Item

I have a userform that has a listview in it. In the listview i have bunch of icons with names. I have it where if you double click on the icon, you will see a msg. box which you need to press ok and the box will go away. After you press ok the icon is still selected. I would like to be able to deselect the icon when you click on the listview box (in the white space away from the icon). I tried everything and no matter what i do, I cant deselect the icon. It is either highlighted or has a outline around it (little dots around the icon). This means that i can double click anywhere in the listview box and the and the msg. box will pop up.

All I want is when i double click the item, the msg. box should come up and when I click away from the icon (click in the white space) the icon should be completely deselected.

Printing Multiple Workbooks With Printing Preference As Landscape

I would like to know if there is a way to print several different workbooks at once but keeping my printing format which I would like to be Landscape and Fit to one page. Reason is simple as I work in a office where staff is handed in several jobs to do everyday. They finish the jobs and log all the info on the database. I log on to database and put all their daily diaries and because it is all over the place I have to go in each file and set printing preferences which takes an hour in the morning and hour in the evening. I could do with some sort of automation where all diaries are automatically printed in Landscape and Fit on one page.

Printing / Not Printing Ranges Based On Cell Contents

I have a report that is generated from a manufacturing process that looks like the example below. the report is 40 pages long when all the data is printed. i am looking for a way to only print this range if a dimension is "out of tolerance". if the dimension is within tolerance, there is always the "garbage" text of plus and minus. if every row is "within tolerance" in the range the cells in the OutTol column would all contain the "garbage" text but it will not always be identical. so, in summary, actual OutTol values = print and all "garbage" = not printed.

I've created a ListView4 object on MyForm and called it 'MyListView'. I'm able to successfully display it and populate it with a list of items (2 columns). So far, so good.

I'm trying to intercept a double-click on an entry in the listview so I can process the selected value and close the ListView. Unfortunately, the MyListView_DblClick event apparently does not get triggered (I've also tried other events, but can't get them to work also).

Printing Filtered Data

I'm attaching a sample workbook which contains two sheets. The 1st sheet is titled "2008" which contains sample data in various columns & rows. The 2nd sheet is titled "print data", which at this time just has a similar, but less titles than on the sheet "2008". What I'm trying to accomplish (if possible) is when data is filtered on the "2008" worksheet, that the data will appear just as it is viewed on the "Print Data" worksheet. In a sense I want it to mirror the data on "2008". The "Print Data" sheet contains a lot less columns of information, which typically is not needed for written summary reports. I'm trying to minimize the amount of paper when printing, etc. I'm just not sure how I can accomplish this task without some type of macro or vba code.

As you can see, I have 2 worksheets. I want that all entries in columns B,D,E and F automaticly fill in in multiple tables in sheet2. Also, if possible that macro creates tables (for example: if I have 100 rows, I want to extract 100 separetly values from column B,D,E and F and to enable automatic creation for new table - for 101 entry )

a way to select which ones to print based on the given condition. I have a store list, and on this list I provided the store number and their authorized vendors. I have a weekly spreadsheet that has all our vendors cost/retail changes. On this spreadsheet, the vendor numbers are on column A. I was hoping for something, like maybe provide the store number to print, and it will print only the vendors that that particular store carry... We have a total of 106 stores, so automating this process would definitely save us a lot of time.

I hold some data in the Excel 2007 file. It's about 400 rows and about 10 columns. On occasion I have to print some values from this file. But it has to be in defined position on the paper. It is like I already have the prepared paper with fields, and I just have to fill some fields on the paper with data from the columns. Is it possible to make a program that will take each row that I label for printing, and print just some columns but in a defined position on the paper ?

Excel 2003 :: Printing - Text Box And Image Print Cell Data Doesn't?

She has a spreadsheet created in Excel 2003 (she is still using 2003) which contains an image with a textbox in the top left corner then all other cells contain data.

When user prints this spreadsheet all that prints is the image and the textbox.

I have cleared the print area reset the print area removed the picture (prints only the text box)

and none of these changes have changed what prints.

I have checked all printer setting and these appear normal.

previously user could print this spreadsheet fine and all other worksheets in the workbook print fine as well.

other users are still able to print to the same printer correctly from this spreadsheet.

Misaligned Printing

I am automating a paper form that collects information from 7 other paper forms and then prints out the results. I have created an excel spreadsheet to do this but I am having problems getting the printed output to match the print preview.

I have inserted an image of the form into the sheet header and aligned the cells on the sheet so that the information is in the correct position when previewed in "print preview".

The problem is that, although this will print correctly on the machine I created it on, it is misaligned on any other machine I have tried.
