Is it possible to have an Image Box which opens different images based on the value of a cell. Say when A1 = 1, the picture of one thing comes up....when A1=2 and different picture and so on?
View 6 RepliesI am completely stumped and spent over 20 hours trying to figure out this problem. There are a ton of examples on the net on how to do this using code, not using code, etc. I have attached the sample of what I have been able to do so far.
In this example I have used the non code approach. Using Name Lists to assign pictures, I was able to get this to work, the problem is that I would have to create hundreds of name lists to get it to work on all cells, unless I'm missing something.
If you look at Column C - I basically want to assign a picture instead of the word relating to the color in Column A. As you can see in the sample I was able to get this to work, but as I mentioned I would have to literally create hundreds of lists to do it across Column A,D,F,H, etc.
I have created an excel application on a PC. Then i moved the file to a PC on which I've just installed office. When I open the file on the new PC - the controls show up where they are but then immediately disappear leaving a transoarent box with a red cross (where the control is supposed to be).

I need a userform in which I choose the field "product" and it loads the picture from the path at "Defect Picture". Is it possible?
I want to be able to a place a picture on a workbook based on a cell. In column A, I will run a sql query to pull a list of items. In column B, I have the items formated thus they have a the .jpg. next to item of the picture i.e Hammer.jpg. whereas column A lists Hammer and Column B Hammer.jpg. In column C, I would like the pictures to reside in this column.
So far I have this macro but I can only get two pictures to come up even though my list has 4 items on it.

I have inlcuded my workbook that I use for tracking the NFL season and I'd like to add in some team logos just to make it look a little cooler.
The attached workbook includes three sheets, the first of which uses a drop-down for selecting picks. The second sheet has the team logos and the third sheet feeds off the first.
I'd like for team logos to populate into the third sheet based on what is selected in the first sheet.
I've already tried a few methods, all unsuccessfully. I tried this [URL] which was a great idea but it didn't allow for the same image to be repeated potentially 100 times. I also tried a method involving named ranges and indirect lookups to the linked picture image but that would require a different named range for every person and every pick which isn't feasible.
if it's possible to just do a massive nested if statement with a vlookup to return an image but I haven't been successful in that either.
where i have a products list and respective pictures in a folder. What is should do is to get the relevant pictures appear on the screen when i select the relevant name.

I am creating a proposal for a online sales store, i have in column A a list of item names that my buyer liked and wants to run, but i have to send them the pictures for the items which is located in a directory on my drive together with all other items. we have 4 category's of pictures 1 is the main image from this we only have 1 of each item, then we have the S category there we may have up to 3 images s1, s2 and s3 not more then 3 and the same is with the R category and with the M as well. We did created a VBA to copy all images from the list into a new directory with all sub pictures into a new sub dir. and bring back a list of all images not found. But i am having a problem when i run the code if it dosnt find the image looking for (for instanse EAR11-M1 the code stopes there looking for the file even the error checking in the code is set to resume what is wrong with code?

Something like:
Photo --> Description --> Price
Image --> Text --> Text
My aim is to be able to sort the items by price or other criteria. The photos are quite large 600x800 but all i need is a small thumbnail. If it is even possible, is there a way of dragging and dropping or selecting multiple in explorer because there are lots of items.
I have on Sheet1 a table with a list of values in column A, and their corresponding picture in column B. On Sheet2 I have used the define name option to set up an index,match against the original table so that the relevant picture shows whenever someone selects one of the values in column A.
The problem is, while the pictures will change when the values are changed, because all of the pictures are "named", they will continue to show if a value not in the lookup table is selected.
Is there a piece of code that would allow me to specify if cell=blank,hide picture if not show picture?

I am trying to copy images from one worksheet (master worksheet with all data and images) if a cell value matches and place onto a separate worksheet with select rows on it. I've watched this tutorial: [URL], but it only shows how to do it in one cell rather than a whole column.
Essentially if the figure in column A matches in the second worksheet, I want the row data to be duplicated including the image.
For the copied data from the master worksheet to another, I used VLOOKUP and it works great but obviously that won't work with images.

I need to start with a worksheet without any objects, namely pictures. Without knowing the name of the object, is there a way to clear all objects on a worksheet?
Second: on a different worksheet there are products with pictures with the product number. When a user selects the product number I want to copy that picture and copy it to J42 of the first sheet. My issue is positioning the picture.

I want users to be able to click on an email address (like a hyperlink) and by doing this open their mail client (in this case Microsoft Outlook) and send an email. I would like the mail client to load a specific template just by clicking on the link from Excel. I'm not sure if this is possible, but there doesn't seem to be many things you can't do on Excel.

On another sheet, I have a form that pops up with some data entery. What I am trying to do is when the form pops up, for the number of accounts to show up in a text box. If anyone could help me with the VBA code id appreciate it. The worksheet name is "Accounts", the cell is T17, and the textbox name is just TextBox1.
I have ten customers who have multiple locations where we do work. On ourinvoice I want to use Data Validation (list option) to read the input "CustomerName", and then change the validation list in the "Job Reference" cell accordingly. For example if A1 is the customer name and A2is the "Reference" where the data validation list will be. Customer ABC has 3 locations, XYZ has 5, CompanyD has 4, and so on. The range for thevalidation array is C1:C5. ABC's list oflocations is located at A10:A15, that of XYZ at A16:A20, and Company D atA21:A25 (and so on, for the others). Howcan I load the data validation range (C1:C5) with the correct list from, forexample A16:20 based on A1 being customer XYZ?
