Take List Of Counts And Add Them To The Next Column Over - Date-based Loading

I am trying to come up with a way of tracking our new hires and how many go to each solution, within a few orgs. I am given a list by HR and run a series of =countifs to break down the matrix. I have a fixed number of solutions, all to be counted within each of 4 orgs. Ultimately I want to have multiple columns within each of these orgs to represent our various start date cycles.

I am trying to figure out the easiest way to load each of 4 count column to the next empty column, within 4 columns in a new worksheet.

Formula That Counts Unique Dates In Column Based On Another Column Value?

How would I count unique dates associated with another specific value on a worksheet?

For instance, Lets say I want to count each day a particular person makes a sale.

Example:

Sales PersonSale IDSales Date
Don 1001/6/2014
Don 1401/7/2014
Don 1601/8/2014
Jack 1011/6/2014
Jack 1021/6/2014
Mike 901/5/2014
Mike 1031/6/2014

So on another worksheet, I'd have:

Sales Person Days with Sale
Don 3
Jack 1
Mike 2

The Formula would go into the "Days with Sale" Column.

Conditional Counts From List?

Basically I have the following (simplified to just include relevant columns

Text Code Location

FFF VAC 2400
FFF VAC 2100
FFF RGG 2400
FFF RGG 2100
BBB RGG 2400
BBB RGG 2100
BBB JAM 2400
BBB JAM 2100
FFF GOG 2400
FFF GOG 2100

There is also a pass/fail column.

I need a table which counts 12 separate stats

Passes and Fails of the following:

1: Number of GOG
2: Number of JAM
3: Number of 2400s not including 2400s already in 2 and 1
4: Number of 2100s not including those already in 2 and 1
5: Number of VAC and FFF in 3
6: Number of VAC and FFF in 4

1: I have done =SUMPRODUCT(--(=Code="GOG"),--(Pass/Fail="pass"))

2: =SUMPRODUCT(--(=Code="JAM"),--(Pass/Fail="pass"))

how to split the remaining stats instwead of having to filter manually every day

Loading A List Of Forms Via A Macro

I have a project which has several forms in it. I want to load them all and interrogate the controls on them. I can so this using the form name directly:

Load MyEntryForm
for each c in MyEntryForm.Controls
activecell.value = c.name
next c

However, I do not want to repeat this code for every form. Is there some way of doing similar to the following so that it will automatically interrogate all forms in the project:

For each MyForm in MyProject
Load MyForm
for each c in MyForm.Controls
activecell.value = c.name
activecell.offset(1,0).select
next c
Unload MyForm
next MyForm

Dateif Function That Counts The Starting Date?

I have the following formula to count the time between two dates and result in an answer with months/days:

=DATEDIF(E14,E15,"M")&" months "&DATEDIF(E14,E15,"MD")&" days"

The problem is that the function does not count the start date. Is there any way to modify this formula so that the start date is included?

For example if the start date is 02/01/2012 and the end date is 02/28/2012 it results in 27 days but I want it to result in 28 days or 1 month.

how to go about this or if there are any better date functions out there?

Display Numbers Based On Counts

I have a series of numbers going down from max to min in column M, in column N I have the number of counts of the same numbers.

The Modal value is calculated by a formula and already displayed in cell F3 (it needs no modification).

What I am trying to do is this:

1) Identify the address of the same modal value in column M.

2) From the modal values address in column M, search Column N searching upwards and downwards from the modal value address, until the first instance of the pre-specified count number is identified.

3) When the pre-specified count number is identified look beside in the cell in column M and display the value beside that pre-specified count in cell.

We stop at the first instance of that prespecified count both when 1) counting upwards and 2) counting downwards.

The upper value is displayed in F2 and the lower value is displayed in F4.

An example would be.

1 1
2 2
3 3
4 4
5 6
6 1
7 2
8 3
9 4
10 1

The modal value is 5 looking beside it as it has 6 counts, so in the count column we search upwards from the count of 6 until we encounter the pre-specified number of 4, then we look beside the count of 4 and observe that the number 4 above the modal value has 4 counts hence we display the number, now we search downwards from 6 counts until we reach the first instance of 4 we find it and the cell beside it contains the number 9 so we display the number 9.

The end result is numbers 4 and 9 that have 4 counts each.

Excel 2010 :: How To Reference Unit Price In List Two Based On Date In List One

I'm using Excel 2010 on a Windows 7 machine.

I have one sheet with a large list of dates and total prices.

I have a second sheet with a list of dates and unit prices.

I want to divide the total price in my first list by the unit price on my second list.

I want to somehow point Excel to the date in the first list, and then lookup the corresponding date in the second list to use the correct unit price.

My thoughts thus far have been along using VLOOKUP with WEEKNUM and YEAR but I've been unsuccessful.

Counts Info Based On Multiple Conditions

I am trying to get a list which counts info based on multiple conditions but I can find no way round this one point

I have a sheet which has all the games played in a particular division and the time that each goal was scored and I am trying to break down the following

What I want is a list that has a column that has the result of how many times when team A were playing at home was a goal scored between the 45th and 65th minute


column A = Home Team
B=Away Team
C= Time of First goal
D=Time of Second goal
E=Time of Third etc

I have a countifs in place for counting the home team and counting if the first goal was scored in under 10 minutes (this is simple as obviously all the first goals are in column C) but what I want to do is be able to have a count of how many times a goal was scored between x number of minutes eg between 40-50.

My problem comes when trying to count the goal times as some matches will have no goals and the cells will be blank and others will have multiple cells filled and the figure I want could be in any column and I also only want it to count only the amount of games a goal was scored between those times so if a game had 3 goals scored in between that time I only want it to count 1.

The sheet has a lot more columns but this is the main sticking point.

I have a sheet from which I load data. A normal cell looks like this:

I wrote a script however that writes new data into a new sheet every day, and saves it with the name of the date. The obstacle is, that I won't have a sheet for each day (ex: weekends, holidays). For that reason, is it possible for excel to scan a certain folder, and open the 20th file when sorted by date to read from?

I am trying to count how many work orders we have created from 3 months (90 days) ago. In an effort to make the input work minimal. I wanted to use the =Today() formula and then subtract 3 months.

I'm trying to put together a year-over-year retention report, with amount spent by new customers and also by returning customers. I have 2014 data, and 2013 data. Data for each year is a list of orders, consisting of a company number along with the amount spent.

What it basically boils down to is a count of different companies that have placed orders in 2014, along with the same for 2013, and then of the different companies who have orders in 2014, how many also have orders on the books for 2013 and how many are new.

And as a next step, how much have the retained companies spent, and how much have the new companies spent.

As an added wrinkle, the company field can also include blanks.

I've included an example below of the data I'm working with, along with the result I'm looking to recreate with formulas.

2. I do a frequently update of this list.

3. In sheet 2 I want to have a copy of this list in row 1 from column A to Column x (depends on how long the list in sheet 1 is.)

4. When I change the list in sheet 1, could be in first, middle or last row- mayby several rows. The list in sheet 2 should be updated

5. The update of sheet 2 should insert a new column on the right place, according to the list in sheet 1.

I think I am working all around this in Excel 2003 and feel like I am in the neighborhood, but can't seem to quite get there. On sheet1 I have 2 columns of 100s of rows. All of the cells in column A will be filled in with a date as time goes by (1-May-09 for example). Several of them may be 1-May-09 as a matter of fact. In column B, some of the cells will have a number in them and some of them will be empty. On sheet2, I want to construct a formula that returns a count of cells in column B that have a number in them based on a specific date in column A. For example:

If I could get the formula right, it would return an answer of 1 for 1-May in the example, because only 1 of the 1-May entries in column A has a number in the adjacent cell in column B. A formula for 2-May would return an answer of 2 since only 2 of the 2-May entries in column A have numbers in the adjacent cell in column B, and so on for the month. If I understand things right, there are too many arguments for COUNTIF. It seems that SUMPRODUCT should work, but I can't make it so.

I need to make an automated way of extracting a list of IDs and the associated cost by a date range, say 6/1/2015 to 12/31/2015, plus the starting letter of the ID. I need the data to then fill a form where it can be sub-totaled. Marking A Column Based On Date In Another Column

I have a worksheet that keeps track of members for an organization. One column, let's call it B, notes the month when the members are due to renew their membership. Our organization requires that members be notified of pending renewals one month before, the month of, and one month after they're due to expire. Rather than having to re-sort the database every time I want to pull up this information, I'd like to create a second column, column C, that puts a character next to the names of members who are about to come do.

Ideally this character would change depending on what stage they are in the renewal process (a month before, month of, month after). Super ideally, if this is even possible in Excel, members who haven't renewed by the last month will automatically be moved to worksheet two, which contains recently lapsed members. What sort of code would I need to do this? I've tried googling for it, but I can't find quite what I'm looking for, and I have no script savvy whatsoever.

I have a huge db that has a column "C" with a list of names. I have been creating tabs and naming them according to that list. I wonder if there is anyway I can create and name the tabs automatically. I already searched for threads in the forum, but only found this this backwards "tabs to cells". By the way, the names in column "C" sometimes repeat.
