Move Data In 1 Column To 4 Different Columns Keeping Same Order

I have a table with one column of data. The data in this column repeats with 4 relevant pieces of information that I want to put in 4 different columns (fields) in a different spread sheet (or the same would work better and I would just delete the first column when done) keeping the same order the data is now in.
The data currently repeats in a regular pattern (i.e. 123412341234 with no other data in between). I would like to do this with a macro. Could someone help write a macro that will do this

I have a large spreadsheet converted from pdf whose data still appears in A4 reading format.

I need to move part columns of data from 6 columns to form 1 large column in column A.

For example, move range B8 to B76 beneath range A8 to A76 and range C8 to C76 beneath that etc, page by page working through all 270 pages !

Also need to delete unnecessary 'page headers' throughout as in rows 2-6

i have data in worksheet 2, a table with formulas using worksheet 2 in worksheet 1, i need to move the data in worksheet 2 to another worksheet, but if i use cut or copy and paste the formulas do not track its movement, so how do i move the data to another worksheet so the formulas know where it went? i thought if you could select the data and drag the data straight into another worksheet but how?

Re-Order Columns Based On Column Order Of Another Worksheet

I need a way to re-order an excel worksheets columns based on another worksheet.

Data is extracted from a database into excel however users can configure the columns in the initial system. to how they like This causes problems when the data is copied into an excel spreadsheet I have created as the data copied will not be in the same column order as is required.

How can i reorder the columns without physically having to cut and paste the columns to match?

I have attached a sample spreadsheet.

You will see on the spreadsheet that 'fixed columns' is the order that i require the data however 'variable columns' is not in the same order.

Move Data From One Column To Multiple Columns

I am trying to move information that is pulled from a database to look cleaner and easier to read. All of the information exports out into column A only. The attachment is a brief example of what it looks like, and what Iím trying to get it to look like.

I want to move the data in col A to 5 columns C through G in groups of 16 rows. Once the last column is filled with a group of 16, it needs to fill below the first group of 16 in column B onward to column F. It should repeat this process until there is no more data in A. The attachment shows it much better than i can explain it.

I have some basic experience with formulas and macros, but I havenít had any luck trying to manipulate any of them to give me the information the way I have shown. I would prefer to not have to manually type or cut and past the information in if possible.

I saw this thread from June Cut & Paste Macro: Move Address From Column To Row and I think this what I would like to have my macro do. I have one column which is copied and pasted as text in excel and there is several blank rows.

I attached the spreadsheet example - it has 40 lenders, with the top row being the lender name (A1), followed by address(A2), city-state (A3), two blank rows(A4-A5), lender type (A6), approved date (A7), one blank row (A8), lender specialty (A9), telephone (A10) , e-mail address(A11) and two blanks rows (A12-A13) and A14 starts over again. For this example there should be 8 columns and 40 rows (lender name, address, etc...). As I mentioned I think the previous thread's macro would work with some minor tweaks. I couldn't figure out the best way to handle the blank rows and or remove the blanks and what to add or take out of the macro code.

I am using excel 2007. I have data which, instead of being posted on multiple columns, is all within 1 column. The data most simply has the characteristics of:

AAA
AAA - description
BBB
BBB - description
CCC
CCC - description
and so on..

I would like to move the descriptions from column A to column B:
AAA AAA - description
BBB BBB - description
CCC CCC - description
and so on...

What would be the best way to accomplish this?

the values in Column B, C , D , E & F need to be in new columns based on what we have in Column A associated with "1"

Output should be -
Column A
Column B
Column C

so whatever is in Column A associated with "0" should remain in place whereas whatever is in Colimn A associated with "1" should get added to the new columns. 0 and 1 resembles the 1 Records which are used as a split to normalize the data.

There is one crucial feature to the 2007 Excel that has been overlooked.

Throughout all versions of Excel there has always been the feature of
converting text to table, however there is no way to do this in reverse.

There is no way to merge two columns of data and to keep all of the data
without one column overwriting the other. If only there were an automatic
way to merge two columns of data and to be able to place a delimited
character in-between, just like the ‚ÄúConvert Text to Columns Wizard‚ÄĚ, except
in reverse. Currently, the only way to merge two columns of data is to
manually go row-by-row and cut and paste them together. However, for 500,000
rows of data… this is impossible. Or to use a function to merge two columns,
however this requires that the original two columns remain. This is also
unacceptable. If Microsoft really wants to make Excel more functional, how
can this vast improvement be overlooked?

I have a table with two columns: 'Serial' and 'Read Date'. The table represents all those serials that failed to read at a certain time and date. For example:

I know you can move them manually but I have 73 reads so far and that's a lot of manually moving columns about.

After sorting and filtering rows with in a set range I will have several rows that are almost duplicates. This is normal and expected due to how the workbook is used. Among these rows also will be several single rows that are not duplicates. It is important that I combine any two duplicates into one row. Example:

Itís important that the data in each column stay with in that same column. Also of course it needs to be on the same row with the same person (NameA and NameB). The Columns that would determine if itís a duplicate are D and E Ė. I would need this to be preformed via macro or some easy way so that others will not have a hard time. It will be on a protected Shared Workbook with Excel 2003. I've enclosed a Sample. How can I sort these or accomplish this and maintain the data where it needs to be?

Keeping Track Of Scores And Automatically Displays Names Of Players In Descending Order?

I'm fairly new to using excel and have been trying to create a simple spreadsheet that keeps track of scores and automatically displays the names of the players in descending order. Anyway I have gotten to the point of using hookup to match a value and return that players name. But when two players have the same score it will only return the first found value. I sort the number scores using a LARGE function and it works great. Then I use something like this =HLOOKUP(Y2,B27:K28,2,FALSE) to match that value with the players name. How to return the other players name when the scores are the same?

I have a column with dates and times, and an associated column with data for all the dates and times. I want to add every hour of every day to the date/time column, but want the data associated with the times to stay in the row next to the correct time. How would I do this? In the attached file, i want to make coulmns A and B look like Coulnds E and F. I have hundreds (if not thousands) of rows, so i need a way to do this easily. Also, the times are not all evenly spaced or exactly on the hour. I dont need the times to be exactly on the hour or spaced out evenly, but i would like to have at least one time from every hour.
