Transferring Date Form Userform Textbox To Cell In Worksheet?

I have a userform with numerous text boxes. One textbox is used to input a date with the following code

When I have completed my userform I want to export this date as a date into range(a2) so I can then use the filter function to filter by month or year. THe problem I am having at the mo is that in the userform it is formatted as dd mm yy, but when I export it from userform it changes to mm,dd,yy. So if I entered 12th January 2014 it changes it to 1st December 2014.

A workaround is to export as text but then I use the filter by month year function so would prefer to avoid this.

I have a two-page multipage form. I have a textbox on page 1 (txtOccupantLoad), and I want to pass the value from that textbox to another textbox (txtOccLoad_L1) on page 2. The code I've tried so far looks like this:

What I'm trying to do is to use the same form for 10 different levels (floors) of a building. Then on page 2, I'll itemize the values for each floor. So the combobox determines which floor the calculations are for; txtOccupantLoad is the total of all incremental occupant loads on that floor; and txtOccLoad_L1 is the first of a series of textboxes on page 2 where the value for Level 1 should go. If the combo box shows "Level 2" then I'll write new code for the txtOccLoad_L2, and so on. I've also tried including "page1." and "page2." after "me."

I have a userform with texts boxes and comboboxes. I have a button at the bottom of the form which when pressed I want the data from these text boxes etc to transfer to the next empty row in excel. Eg I want textbox1 to be in cell A2, textbox2 to be in A3 and so on. How I would do this?

I want to enter a value in a textbox, search for it in an worksheet, and populate other textboxes with adjacent values if the value is found. Anyway, the problem is that if the value is not found, I get a debug error.

I'm sure there's far better code to do what I need, but I tried to keep it simple. With the above code, it only works if the value is found. If it's not, I get an error. So how do I make it so that if the value is not found, the value of the textbox2 is "Not Found" or something...

I have somewhat of a complex issue (at least i view it as one).

I have included a sample Excel Doc.

I want to be able to enter data into the spreadsheet titles LIST as i receive it. i receive invoices and checks and i keep a running tally. but i am trying to avoid re-entering the same data into the BREAKDOWN tab. but i need the data to go to the proper place in BREAKDOWN. The problem is that i have no idea how big the list will be and how many invoices i will be receiving. so i think new lines will needed to be inserted in BREAKDOWN when i add to the running total in LIST.

Any way to transfer the sheet protection from one worksheet to another worksheet via VBA.

Currently, the user selects a name from a drop down list, it unhides a workbook of the same name, copies from that workbook, and places the copied information in an area of the sheet with the drop down list. I would like the protection settings (in this case, selectivly unlocked cells to allow users to easily tab through and not make changes to data that should not be changed) to be copied with this information. Is this possible?

I have a userform in a workbook (part2.xls). Data from a second open workbook (defined as c_data) is tallied (countifs) and then dropped in the respective textboxes on the userform (cnthpdia, cnthfld, cnhpcrt). These textboxes have their visibility properties set to FALSE.

I need to turn them on to have the data displayed.

I am receiving a "Variable not defined." error in the line highlighted above.

I've created a variable number (i) of text boxes at run time (i also named them, "txt"&i, at the same time), i'm now trying to get the values entered in these to fit into a column that has been inserted during the same sub routine. I'm having a bit of trouble refering to the text boxes though, this is the patch of code i'm struggling with:

VBA - Offset Is Not Transferring Data Correctly From UserForm To Worksheet

I was given a task to build a userform and all the info collected from the userform will then transfer to a worksheet named 'Promotion'. I was copying the code from last year's UserForm and with my 0 VBA background.

With the below code (I just extract part of it), the ideal case would be to transfer data to Cell A4 (which is the first blank cell on the worksheet), and when a second form is recored, it will start from A5, so on and so forth. But somehow, the code transfer the data to Cell A1001, and the columns don't match with the info either.

Excel 2010 :: Transferring Array Back To Worksheet?

I have a workbook that is doing something I don't understand. In several places I am using arrays to transfer/modify information, then placing the array back onto the worksheet, and this works perfectly. The following code... doesn't.

(I've cut out unnecessary code like variable declarations - all my integer items are declared as Long)

and several other ways. What happens is just null output, a full column of nothing. However, when I expand my worksheet range to two columns, all the data from varB appears - it is shifted down one column and row. So my data starts at .cells(2,2) instead of .cells(1,1). The data is all perfect, I've verified it left and right.... I just can't figure out why it's getting shifted like this.

Transferring Values From Different Sheets By Text Match

In the attachment the supplier sheet is the sheet we get from our suppliers and it shows us the products they have in stock along with the prices and other information. This sheet has over 900 products on it. It is updated daily which we download and then paste it over the existing data.

The Deviltronics sheet is the products we have added onto our website. It has a code in column E which tells us if the products on the supplier sheet is in stock or out of stock. (this was done by the help of someone here)

Both sheets have been cut down considerably so that we can add them as an attachment on here.

So now I am going to tell you what I am trying to do!

What we need is a code that will automatically copy the trade price, suggested retail price and the shipping cost from the supplier sheet and insert it into the Deviltronics sheet next to the relevant product (say in columns F, G and H). This done by matching the product code part numbers in both sheets as done with the existing code on the Deviltronics sheet (column E).

I want to transfer the contents of around 20 textboxes to 20 different cells. Allthough I have seen many code examples for doing this with a single text box e.g.

I can't seem to get it to loop through 20 boxes automatically using a For next loop for instance. Also I would like it to skip any empty text boxes it finds.
From what I've seen I don't think it would take too much code but I'm afraid I'm a complete beginner with macro's and completely stuck.

I have created an excel worksheet that will provide budgeting and estimating tools for my project managers. All data used to be manual entry and took a good while to complete. I am trying to automate the process with VBA.

I created a UserForm called InfoVerify1. On that form I have TextBox 1 - 10. When the UF opens, the boxes display project information from my worksheet called "Basis of Estimate", also known as Sheet26.

The TextBox1 ControlSource is set to "E4". When I run the macro with Sheet26 active, the proper information fills in. However, when I am on the Start page or any other worksheet and I run the macro, it tries to fill in the text boxes with E4, etc, from the active sheet. I tried changing the ControlSource to "Sheet26,E4" or any combo thereof with only error messages.

how to get it to refer to a cell on a particular worksheet and hold to that worksheet no matter which sheet I am on at the time I run the Userform?

I have a workbook with two tabs, Summary & January. The january tab has total expenses for the month of january that are subtotaled by last name. i.e. (baker total, decker total..). I would like to be able to use a formula on the summary tab to pull the values of each of the totals for each person from the january tab to the summary tab.

I tried on the summary sheet doing =jan and selecting the first persons name and then going back to the summary tab and dragging that formula down but it pulls all of the other data within the subtotal on the jan tab and I just want each persons total.

Filling Textbox With Values From Another Textboxes With Default Values

I have a userform containing 3 textboxes, to calculate derivatives.

User enters two integers in textbox1 and textbox2; and to textbox 3, I need to transfer these values but with a little issue.

For example, user entered 3 to textbox1 and 5 to textbox2. In textbox 3, it needs to show 3x^5.
For example, user entered 7 to textbox1 and 2 to textbox2. In textbox 3, it needs to show 7x^2.

So "x" and "^" are our defaults in textbox3.I tried to transfer the numbers that the user enters to cells A1 and A2, -I don't know if this works- but I don't know how to call them to change the text in the textbox.

The Room ID values in Column A are associated with the Room values in Column B. I'm trying to move the values in Column A Room ID to Column G Room ID by having excel look up value in Column C Room or Area #, compare it to Room, associate that with Room ID and automatically fill in Column G Room ID. There are 1000s of these so it's not possible to do it by hand.

I tried both IF and LOOKUP and failed. I'm trying to search for values from one worksheet and identify whether or not those values exist in another worksheet. I attempted the following lookup in field A2:

=LOOKUP(B2,Sheet3!A$2:A$914,Sheet3!C$2:C$914)

B2 (thru B5000 or so) contains values I want to search for; sheet3!A$2:A914 is where I want to look and column C of that same sheet, entered the text "Yes" in an attempt to have the results list "Yes" for hits and N/A for misses. (All fields are text.) I copied the formula all the way down the sheet in column A. The result it is returning is N/A in A2 and Yes in A2 -to the bottom, which is incorrect.

The value's entered in the textbox txtQty return as text in the database. This is a problem when a value like 1,50 of 10,5 is enterred.

How can I solve this problem? In other words, what code do I need the add to get de entered value's in the textbox as numbers.......

I'm trying to create a supplier database. before I add a new supplier, I need vba to tell me if there is a cell that contains the value i entered in a textbox. i.e.

If textbox value = "prince" then I want vba to search for suppliers that contains "prince" in existing supplier list that includes: disney pixar princess prince charming microsoft

Ideally, it should tell me that suppliers "princess" and "prince charming" is a near match.
