find attached sheet of example.

In the attachment the supplier sheet is the sheet we get from our suppliers and it shows us the products they have in stock along with the prices and other information. This sheet has over 900 products on it. It is updated daily which we download and then paste it over the existing data.

The Deviltronics sheet is the products we have added onto our website. It has a code in column E which tells us if the products on the supplier sheet is in stock or out of stock. (this was done by the help of someone here)

Both sheets have been cut down considerably so that we can add them as an attachment on here.

So now I am going to tell you what I am trying to do!

What we need is a code that will automatically copy the trade price, suggested retail price and the shipping cost from the supplier sheet and insert it into the Deviltronics sheet next to the relevant product (say in columns F, G and H). This done by matching the product code part numbers in both sheets as done with the existing code on the Deviltronics sheet (column E).

Match Names And Divide Values Across Sheets

I have two sheets. Sheet A (Receiving Log) contains all orders with NAME (D1) and QTY ORDERED(E1). Sheet B(Component Reject Tag) contains all rejects with NAME(D1) and QTY REJECT(E1). Sheet A and B are Many to Many relationship

What I am trying to figure out is:

Match the names from Sheet B to Sheet A and sum up the QTY REJECT from Sheet B divide by the sum of QTY ORDERED for the NAME from Sheet A.

Business would like to get QTY Reject percentage by each NAME (Supplier)

In a final table lets say Sheet C I would like to see NAME, QTY Ordered, QTY Reject, Ratio in which will allow my to perform a Top 10 suppliers of highest reject percentage.

Another note to mention, Sheet C presumably to have all the formulas as in Sheet A and B will be overwritten and pasted with new data.

I have a sheet (SHEET1) with a EAN code and a empty column I need to get a colour into from sheet 2.

I have to match EAN codes in Sheet 1, (Column X) with Sheet 2(Column E) and then pull the description from the corresponding row in Sheet 2(Column D).

I am sure I can use the VLOOKUP formular but I dont know how to input the code?

I have Information found on Sheet 1. I need the program to take the value found in Column B and try to find matches found on Sheet 2 in Column B. Here's the thing it is only going to take the first 3 characters found in the Cell on Sheet 1. But in sheet 2 it will need to pull all information that matches those 3 characters. I included a sheet on what the finished product should look like for two of the sheets. If the program finds a match it will transfer the original and the copied match to a sheet Named "Name". The correct format can be found on "Finished Sheet Name". If no matches are found it will place the original information from Sheet 1 onto a sheet called "New".

Transferring Data Between Sheets In A Workbook

I have a workbook with two sheets of sku numbers. One sheet has sku numbers and prices, the other just has sku numbers but some of the sku numbers on the second list have been broken out by sizes. I need to take the prices from the first list and transfer them to the matching sku numbers on the second including the ones with multiple of the same sku but with prices. Also, not all of the skus from the second list are on the first list so I only need to do the ones that occur on both lists. There are over 3000 on the first list and 14000 on the second. What is the fastest way to accomplish this.

I tried to sort so that all the sku's in both sheets are in the same order then copy and paste the price to the matching sku on the second sheet and then drag the price down through the sizes on the ones that have different sizes (not all of them do) but I know there must be a faster way.

Match Values On 2 Sheets If Value Matches Copy Row Into 2nd Sheet

I need a macro to start at cell "A1" on sheet1 and then find that same value on sheet 2 in column B. Once it finds that value in sheet 2, the code would copy the row related to "A1" (A1:H1) into the row on sheet 2 with the value matching "A1" from sheet 1. Once it has done this I need it to do the same from A2:A598. I thought this code below was working but it seems to erase a row from sheet 2 if it is not present in sheet 1. I need the macro to only update the row if the information in column A on both sheets is the same. Here is the code I am using

Match Values Between 2 Sheets, Copy All Corresponding Data & Sum Results

I want to locate the corresponding acct number between worksheets “primary_data” and “qty_movement” and once a match is found (from acct worksheet) then copy over the acct numbers and the share data to the results page. If there is no match I don’t want anything copied to the results page, just ignore that data on either worksheet “primary_data” or “qty_movement”.

•Both ranges on “primary_data” and “qty_movement” worksheet are variable, as accts are left off or kept on depending on the daily activity so the ranges are never set.
•I need to concatenate on “primary_data” worksheet cells A&B&C to get acct number
•concatenate on “qty_movment” worksheet cells B&C (need to keep zeros in front of actual numbers for acct number reasons)
•these accts need to be cross referenced as the accounts on the “acct” worksheet (pre-populated with corresponding acct numbers that never change and will always be on that worksheet)
•If a match is found on the “acct” sheet then I would like it to either replace the acct so they match on both worksheets or just to recognize those accounts correspond with each other and do the below.
•then take the 2 concatenated acct numbers off of “primary_data” and “qty_movement” in the I cells and copy them over to the “results” worksheet as well as the share data from “primary_data (column E)” and “qty_movement(Column D)” and then compare the 2 share amounts on “results(column E)”

i need to elaborate on anything, the attached sample sheet shows what i want to do, but without any formulas or code.

I'm loving these new formulas that i'm learning here and applying them to whatever sheets i come across to make my life easier at work...

So now i've created another worksheet, this one is to help my colleague who wastes atleast an hour everyday to generate a consolidated report of our bank accounts...

Now i've sorted out half of the report where he can give an overview of the position of cash flow on a daily basis.

Theres however 1 more addition i wanted to make to make this workbook absolutely perfect!

On sheet 2 (which is my consolidated report sheet) I want to add all the transactions that occur on a particular date from all the different bank accounts (Each account having a seperate worksheet)

I'm not sure if advanced filters can achieve this or not or even easier/short macros... Any tips/hints as to how i can achieve this would be awsome..

I've attached a sample workbook which has sheet1 for a bank account and sheet2 for report generation...

I want to add all the rows having "Clearing date" (column A) in Sheet1 to report date in Sheet2
..And this for all the account sheets i can add...

Transferring Data From Multiple Sheets Into One Consolidated Sheet

Currently I have 15 Prepaid schedule sheets that get pulled together as lines in a detail sheet. The way I have the detail sheet set up currently is that I have designated 200 rows for each prepaid schedule sheet, and then I manually changed the sheet reference in the formulas every 200 lines or so, for each prepaid schedule account. One such formula looks like this:

The detail sheet also includes a formula to find values to be expensed. that formula is:

I'm trying to shrink down the over all size of this detail sheet and I would like to be able to write code with the syntax:

IF {HLOOKUP of value in menu sheet, find in column 10 of active sheet and offset by 1 (row 11)} contains a value THEN run all formulas (examples above) and paste into detail page UNTIL value in column A contains "Balances".

After finding the word "Balances" the macro would move on to the next prepaid sheet and do the same thing.

Transferring Text Boxes To Cells

I want to transfer the contents of around 20 textboxes to 20 different cells. Allthough I have seen many code examples for doing this with a single text box e.g.

I can't seem to get it to loop through 20 boxes automatically using a For next loop for instance. Also I would like it to skip any empty text boxes it finds.
From what I've seen I don't think it would take too much code but I'm afraid I'm a complete beginner with macro's and completely stuck.

I would like to transfer the data in my Excel Sheet to a txt file while still keeping the widths the same as they were in the Excel Sheet.

A portion of what I want to convert is in the the attached Excel File.

The txt file is what I would like it to be converted to.

When I cut and paste, it adds a tab space between each column which I dont want.

In Sheet1, column Y looks into Sheet2 and returns the status of that specific order - the result displayed in column Y will be either blank or a variety of text strings (eg. received, pending etc).

I need to make a macro that looks into all the cells of column Y in Sheet 1 and copy/pastes as value into that same cell only if the formula in that cell returns text string "Received". It should not affect the other cells where the formula is returning either blank or a different text string.

I have a couple of small problems I hope someone can help me with. I have attached a test workbook. The ExtractSN macro searches column B for serial numbers and copies each one to its own row while copying all associated data to the individual rows to the TEMP sheet.

I need this macro to copy the 3 header rows from each source sheet to new destination sheets, then copy the numerical values as text to the respective sheet to preserve leading zeros and any letters. If the new sheets could be named the same as the source sheets and add _RPT to the end of the name, that would make things easier.

I have two sheets of data , sheet A and Sheet B.

Sheet B contains a column called "Name" and for each name, and for each name there are corresponding numbers. In sheet A, I have a "list of interest" in column A. What i want to do look through the data in sheetB to find a match from the list of interest and return the corresponding letters, located in column A.

I have filled out the first two rows of results that should be returned as an example.

One idea i had was to put a vlookup formula in each column result 1 to result 6 so i can catch all 6 "Serves" columns from column B, but there may be duplicates in the serve columns and vlookup only reports the first match.

I think that you can do with using the sumproduct function with the binary, but the computer is a little dated and it takes a while to run those calculations.

I am trying to identify matches for company names I have in columns A and H.

I originally used =IF( $A3<>$H3,"No Match","Match")

The issue is that not all of the company names in column A contain "INC","LLC", "CORP", etc. So, I am not capturing all of the matches.

Example:

Column A: American Eagle Outfitters
Column H: American Eagle Outfitters INC

Is it possible to write a formula with the logic that IF A3 and H3 both contain "American Eagle Outfitter" then "Match" or "No Match"?

I have a workbook that updates from external source and creates sheets depending on a cell range.

I have put tab 1 and tab 0 on either end of where the new sheets will be inputted, will never know how many sheets

What i need to happen is if someone fills in "complete" in A7 in my "summary" sheet then the values in row 6 in all the other sheets get hardcoded. This needs to happen from A7 down to A26, so A8 = complete then copy row 7 etc

Match Data From Two Sheets?

I am receiving a data from two different sources having multiple information. I want to match the data for any missing entries from one sheet . There is a common column Field N which contains the reference number of the transaction, based on this reference number i require to match these entries. e.g: Sheet A contains serial Number, name, ID Number (not common in both sheets) , amount , name and of course [B]Reference[ Number ( which is common in both the sheets.

I would like to match these two sheets on the basis of this reference number and if there is a MISMATCH of ( Reference number is NOT present in sheet 2 than this information should be COPIED in a SEPARATE work sheet. I tried different VLOOKUP functions BUT am still unsuccessful.
