VBA Compare Two Columns And Copy Matching Data

I'm using the code below to compare columns on two sheets (1 column for each) and where there is a match, copy data from the 'Source' to 'Destination' sheet.

The code works fine, but I'd like to amend this, but I'm a little unsure about how to proceed.
The script currently compares column C on the 'Source' sheet with column D on the 'Destination' sheet and where a match is found copy column G from the 'Source' sheet and pastes this to column O on the 'Destination' sheet.
I'd still like to copy and paste the same columns, but I'd like to compare two columns from each sheet, so from the 'Source' sheet compare columns C and E to columns D and J on the 'Destination' sheet.

I need to track only certain tasks id's out of entire task id database. I have 1 column of data on sheet "A" that represents task id's I want to track. On sheet "B" I have multiple columns of data, the first column being the task id's. I need to compare the column on sheet A with the first column on sheet B. If there is a matching task id, I need to copy the entire row of data from sheet "B" on to a new sheet "C". If there is no matching task id on sheet "B", I would like to copy just the task id. Each week I would get a new set of data for sheet "B" (which can vary in length) and I need the ability add or subtract task id's on sheet "A" that need tracking. See the attached xls file for a piece of sample data.

Does anybody have a code snippet to search and compare 2 sheets.
I want to read the value in a cell on the first sheet, then search the entire second sheet for a match, if it does match then copy the value from certain cells on the second sheet to the row on the first.

I have used the merge facility to incoporate all the worksheets into one excel files. As they all have same heading, I have sorted the data, first by their account expiry time (oldest to newest) and then by manager (A-Z)
For example, system report generated on 15/03/2013, 28/03/2013, 03/04/2013, 15/05/2013, 28/05/2013 and so on and these are sheet names too. What I want is one worksheet called report with the same heading as my merged worksheets and return values where Column C in 28/03/2013 is compared to 15/03/2013 and if the employee ID matches than return the whole row of data for the report.
the next query would then be for finding employee ID in 03/04/2013 and comparing it with 28/03/2013 worksheet and returning the matched ID in report worksheet.
This is the layout of the report worksheet.

I would like to compare two different columns and show only non matching values that exist in Column B but not in Column A in the next cell.

Basically I have Two Columns.

Column A is the master codes list for a unique product.
Now every time a product is sold, its unique code number is entered into column B.
What I want excel to do is compare Column A and Column B and show me only the codes that DO NOT match.
This way I know which items should be present in store when I do a physical stock check.
So the end result should be:

I have two open workbooks, the first is called "Original Data.xls", the second "SIP.xls".The "Original Data" workbook contains a sheet called "Data" which has a list of information in the column range 'B:H', starting at row '4'.The "SIP" workbook contains a sheet called "Staff" which has a list of unique ID's in column B, starting at row 4.What I'd like to be able to do is compare the unique ID's in column 'B' of the "Data" sheet to that of the unique ID's in column B of the "Staff" sheet. NB.
There could be multiple records for the same unique ID in the "Data" sheet, but they will only occur once in the "Staff" sheet.If a match is found, I'd like to copy the row from the "Data" sheet and paste this to a sheet called "Matched", starting in B4, also contained in the "Original Data.xls" file.As each match is found I'd like to paste this into the next available line on the "Matched" sheet, and I would like, if at all possible, for the macro to continue checking for multiple entries until column 'B' in the "Data" sheet is blank.

I'm trying to do the following comparison and copy:
Step 1: See if value in Sheet1 column A matches any cell in Sheet2 column A
Step 2: If a match exists then copy value from that same row on Sheet2 column C (Min) to the same row on Sheet1 column D (Min)
Step 3: Do the same with the Max columns
For example, Sheet 1:A5 (11PL10012) matches Sheet2:A5 so copy Sheet2:C5 to Sheet1:D5 (the Min columns).

I have two sheets with pretty much the same content but not exactely. I need to compare the data from the first sheet to the data in the second sheet in this way:
data from column b (numbers) in the first sheet needs to be compared to data in column b in the second sheet. if this dosen't match it needs to go to the next line.
if the match is positive it needs to compare the data from column d on the first sheet to the data on the second sheet same column and copy the data from the first sheet's column d to the second sheet's column d. But only if the data in column d on the first sheet isn't blank. If it is it should leave the data on column d second sheet intact.

I'm also would like the ability to change the columns I am comparing. The actual sheets may have more that 4 columns.I can somewhat read the formulas but have a hard time under standing them completely.

I am trying to modify the macro listed below for the following example. It would work when I have only numerals in the cell but this new query, the cell has both letters and numbers.
I want to compare column "M" from worksheet one to column "B" in worksheet two. If the information matches, then copy the value adjacent from worksheet two column "A" to worksheet one column "L".
Here is the macro that worked for me using a search of only numerals.

this is in reference to a question I asked some time ago in which I was given the following: =IF( COUNTIF(SHEET1!$A$1:$A$1200,SHEET2!A1),SHEET2!A1,"")
To summize as this is not quite working, I have two worksheets and in Column A are id#s. Worksheet 1 has100's more rows of data than Worksheet 2. I need to find the unique ids from column A in Worksheet 1 that match Unique IDs in worksheet 2.
I need to copy the row of cells from worksheet 1 where the unique id equals that u.id in worksheet 2. That row needs to be copied to Sheet 2 that has the same unique id, and after the pre-existing cells which are already present.
So for instance: if Sheet1 A100 = Sheet2 A24, then copy row A100from Sheet 1 and paste it to Row A24 of SHeet 2 start with the first empty cell- just say Sheet2 G24 as an example.
Using the formula I was given before, it finds matches, but the pasted rows are off. If the match occurs with Sheet 1 A450 and Sheet 2 A36, it will copy the value from ROW/SHeet 1 A36 instead of ROW/Sheet 1 A450

300+ long, so by hand is taking forever. Example:

i am using this spreadsheet to monitor when equipment is being borrowed in the office and want a quick view reference (columns A-C) based on the data entry in columns &G. Please note that htis is an example as the original file is confidential, if someone can answer my query here i will transfer the formula to my actual workbook. So I have this problem in excel with comparing 2 columns.
Basically, I have 2 columns(a &B) that I need to compare with one another and find out the matching data. I am trying to use that matching data to enter in our reports.
Both columns might have duplicate items because I am dealing with premium numbers.
Formula to compare these 2 columns and find the matching data and extract it to a separate column. Keep in mind, i am dealing with almost 20,000 lines of data.

I'm working on a excel sheet to compare data of 2 columns. One column (or array), let's say C3:C13 contains "x" in some of its cells. The other column, let's say P3:P13, contains "d" in some of its cell. What I would like to do is compare the cells of the same row, see if they contain any data and return 1.
So if C3 contains an "x" and P3 contains a "d", therefore it returns 1. If C4 doesn't have an "x" and P4 has a "d", it will return a 0.
The closest I can get to this is the following formula
=SUM(IF(AND(C3="x",P3="d"),1,0), IF(AND(C4="x",P4="d"),1,0), IF(AND(C5="x",P5="d"),1,0), IF(AND(C6="x",P6="d"),1,0)), IF(AND(C7="x",P7="d"),1,0)), IF(AND(C8="x",P9="d"),1,0)), IF(AND(C6="x",P6="d"),1,0))...
However, this formula is way too long. Is there another way of writting or simplifying this formula?

I am trying to do a multiple compare.
First I have a table that has these headings with data..
Name, Level, Req1, Req2, Req3, Req4
Bob, 2, 423, 506, 649, 798
Fred, 4, 601, 799, 1023, 1547
In another section I have..
name Drop down, level drop down. with the 4 Req.
Basically, when you select Fred and 4, I want to to display 601, 799, 1023, and 1547 in the columns to the left of where you do the selection. (which is not in the same place as that table at the top of this question.

i want to compare data between 4 columns, 2 columns of data is in Sheet 1 and 2 columns of data is in sheet2. Data starts at A5 in both worksheets. Data consists of stock codes and there holdings. Sheet 1 data is real data the primary source, sheet 2 data is a bit of real data and incorrect data.
My data in sheet 1 is layed out as below, this is just a sample, real data has around 1500 stock codes and holdings.

I'm working with Excel 2007, I have two tabs on my spreadsheet, each tab contains a column of numbers formatted like 5552220. Is there a way to run a macro or write a formula that would compare the data between the two columns and either automatically delete the numbers that don't have a match or highlight them? For example:
Tab A Tab B
5551112 5551112
6660001 6660001
1234567 1234567
2222222 2222222
6666445
6666445 needs to be deleted in tab B because it's not present in tab A. There could be up to 100 numbers that require deletion from tab B.

I have 2 columns say A and B (infinite number of rows)
A is an Indexed number starting at 1
B is numerical data.
I now have a second set of the same columns with the same data, however some rows are missing. I need a way of comparing the data and then display the rows I am missing in the second set of columns.
For example the first set will be the master list and look like:

I have 2 sets of data/array/range. Each set consists of 2 columns with a large number of rows.
I want to compare my 2nd data to a master data. And list if anything is different in 2nd set of data from master set in column A than highlight the difference or copy the value to another place.
Also want to compare the 2nd column if column A was same and consider both column A and column B for that associated row different if column B is different.
The trouble for me comes in because the list is never alphabetical (sort doesnt work cause of funky naming) and never of the same size.
Attached is a photo of an example for maybe an clearer understanding. Also attached an example excel sheet I tried it within excel but cant seem to figure out how to look also for the 2nd column, so im trying to avoid the within excel route and go using vba ...
