Copy Worksheet In Workbook With All Formulas On New Worksheet Referencing Previous Worksheet

I have a workbook that contains 50 worksheets named 1-50. I need to add more worksheets. all the formulas in the worksheets always refers to the previous worksheet.

How can i make a copy of the worksheet named 50, name it 51 and have all the formulas in worksheet 51 refer back to worksheet 50?

I have code that i use to copy a worksheet of information in one workbook to a worksheet in another workbook. All i need is some guidance on how to copy a second worksheet from workbook 1 to a second worksheet in workbook 2. Should be fairl straight forward.

In the below i am copying the sheet Phone_data to a second work book sheet also called Phone_Data, i would like to include in the same proccess a sheet called Sur_Data from workbook 1 copy to a sheet called Sur_Data_R in the second. All the other features like find next empty row also apply.

Convert .xla Add-in To .xls Workbook

I wrote a simple macro a few months ago and I got carried away and produced an .xla rather than a normal worksheet macro!

I dont need to use this macro as often anymore and another member of staff will be taking the process over so I was hoping to turn the .xla into a normal worksheet macro.

Unfortunately I am very confused by using xla's (at one point I had about 7 versions on my tools menu for some reason!!) and I cannot work out how you convert it!

I am trying to be a good programmer and not do a whole bunch of activate workbooks and worksheets. So I am 99% complete with my subroutine and stuck on 3 lines. I need to copy my entire pivot table from PvtDest (which is Superdatabase.xls sheets f2 pivot)

Set PvtDest = Workbooks(SSRname).Worksheets(CarrPivot)

PvtDest. Cells.Copy
PvtDest.Cells.Select
Selection.PasteSpecial Paste:=xlPasteValues, Operation:=xlNone, SkipBlanks:=False, Transpose:=False

PvtDest.cells.copy works fine

PvtDest.Cells.select Fails due to (select method.range class failed

finally Selection.Paste special is supposed to paste on PvtDest but I have not been able to accomplish this.

I think I have seen copy paste special in the same command line is that the solution

I would like to have a Macro, which could find Formulas on ALL sheets and replacing them with Values (Special Paste).

Example: I have multiple sheets and on every sheet there are functions (In my case, =MAX). I would like that my Macro would simply find that function and automaticly replace it with a Value (I do not have time to Copy -> Special Paste 300 Functions)

I am looking for a code that would copy the data from each worksheet in a given workbook and then paste to just one worksheet within a different workbook. The Sheet names are auto generated when I run this canned report but the naming structure is always the same...the first worksheet is named Repair Details and then the next sheet is named Repair Details_1, the next sheet is named Repair Details_2 and so on for every sheet in workbook. So I would like to copy all of the data(Headers to last cell) and then paste in a worksheet(ex: Master Repair Report.xlsx and the worksheet could be titled Master Repair Details) on a different workbook, then the next sheet would copy from the one under the header to the last record and paste to the same workbook. This process would repeat for every worksheet in the Repair Details Workbook and paste to Master Repair Details worksheet in the Master Repair Report workbook.

I need to copy a range of values (actually two ranges). The ranges are of fixed size. Le't say A2:D20 and E2:H20.

Both workbooks have the exact same layout, and they both have the same named worksheet (in this case it's called Entry). However the actual filename of the source workbook is unknown. I know numerous users have changed the filename of the xls file.

I want to instruct them to open the old and new workbook, and open a third workbook containing the copy macro, they run the macro and it copies the data.

How can I reference a known worksheet name but of an unknown workbook name esp when the source and destination share the worksheet name?

Convert Text To Formula In Worksheet

I have put together an excel sheet for how how long a part is on a particular machine. If there are multiple operations on a machine, I separated the operation times with a comma in the cell. I am now trying to get a sum of the total time the part is in a machine. I cannot just use a sum since the commas change the format from number to text. I was hoping I could do a substitution where I change the commas to plus signs and stick an equal sign in front of it and somehow get it to be recognized as a formula instead of a text string. Even then, I would still have to do a sum for the entire row. This is what I have as an example

I need a column for summing the row of times (Machine Time). It doesn't need to be a one-cell solution. If I need to add a sheet to the file to do operations on the data that is fine. Again, I do not want to use VBA code. I already have a solution in VBA and am trying to do it in the worksheet only. I can get a substitution working to get a single cell into a format like 10+10+10, but that's the easy part of the battle.

I'd like to convert each worksheet to a single page 11x14 PDF document so that I can take it to my local printer and have it printed on cardstock. I've tried two different free conversion programs and am frustrated to the bone. The pages keep running over at the bottom onto a second page, and how to make it fit-to-page.

I'd like margins of about 1/4" on the left, right, and top. No headers or anything like that. Then fit to page on 11x14 paper size. I think that's it.

1- I dont know why but sometimes excel 2010 converts numbers to dates automatically in my workbook. I use this macro to solve the problem, but since last week it is not working. I get an error: "Method 'NumberFormat' of object 'Range' failed".

2- because it should work in all cells of the workbook, the macro must make changes only in the cells with absolute numbers (ex: 1223) but must not change if in the cell there is a date like 12-may-2012 (numbers with hyphens).

The code allows the user to select the worksheet to import, but it imports it to a new workbook and I need to be able to not only select the sheet to import, but the workbook to import it to.
