I need a User Defined Function (UDF) to Vlookup duplicate values in separate Columns.
I can't use an Array function as the data is huge and it takes lot of time to calculate.

I am currently busy with a material tracking sheet. The sheet tracks all the material from fabrication to being released from painters.
My problem is that in a summary sheet that I created, I used vlookup to get the exact value of the item number that was released.

I have an interesting problem where I am trying to display a list of top ten ranked items and I have multiple items tying for a rank, creating two or more values for one rank.
I have a table that shows the ranking, numbers 1 to 10. I'm using a vlookup formula to find the rank and return the corresponding name from my data table.
The problem I have is there are two that are tied for 3rd place, so I have two ranking at three. The current table looks something like this:
1 Warren
2 Stan
3 Mike
4 #N/A
5 Dan
I can change my table so that the numbers on the left are dynamic so it will display the number 3 twice if there are multiples of the same ranking, but when I do my lookup I'm still stuck.
Is there a way to return the second "3" on the lookup? Or is there a better way to solve the issue?

I have a situation where I have about 20000 lines to populate and looking for a quicker alternative. I have duplicate numerical values in the lookup_value. I want the same number to appear for all lookup_value's but there is only one instance of that value on the other sheet I am searching. My table looks like this:

I have this problem I have 4 columns which contain data. The first column is a list which contains random values from the third column. Now what i want to do is to pull the duplicate values from the second list without agitating the data from the 4th column because it is corresponding.In the example i have attached i would like to take the values from column A and find them in column F then extract them together with corresponding value from column G

I have a challenge related to a excel sheet we are using for personnel planning.
Vertically we have several projects with action items listed row by row in the following format:

Horisontaly on the columns we have dates, day by day for a year +
For each day we chose from a drop down who is assigned to the action item. The problem is when there are 30-40 + projects and each have 20-30 lines of ation items it is hard to get the overview and avoid double entry. I would use conditional formating to do this, but firstly each project is separated by a line containing different formulas and I would not like the conditional formation to change these cells, and at the same time to put this up manually for each row would take a long time since there are 365 + rows.
how a VBA code could solve this little challenge? IT would also be beneficial to have it do the check upon cell change, that way we would not need to manually run the VBA to check.
For my job I have to take hundreds of codes and compare them to other codes. For example, in column A I'll have 453 codes, in column B I'll have 352 and in column 97. I want to find common codes for all three columns. Sometimes, I'll have just two columns and sometimes it's multiple columns. I have tried a few formulas but nothing works that well. I wanted to add new column with these values for table 1 including duplicates. this is sample data and i wanted to replace thousands of this type.
How do I select certain columns for duplicate values? When I go to conditional formatting>highlight cells rules>duplicate values it checks the whole sheet which is 20 columns by 50000 rows and freezes the PC. I just want to select certain columns for duplicates, like C and AC.

How do you write an excel macro that looks at the number in the first column (day #) and finds all the duplicate id#s in the second column that are in day 1and adds the amounts together in the 3rd column then writes the first column number (day#), second column number(id#) and the third column (sum of the amounts of duplicate Id#) to an new worksheet. Then the macro would loop through day #2 and do the same thing. Notice that the values in the id column are unique in this data set below this is how I would like the data to look. I have a data set which has 6 columns (and lots of rows). Every row is different but I want to aggregate them based on 4 fields and then find the average of the numerical column for the results. I basically want to Group based on 4 fields and find the average of the 5th field.
My initial approach was to introduce a column which is a combination of the 4 fields I want to group by, simply in the Excel file (=A2&B2&C2&D2) and then find duplicates of that. I have a solution for this in VBA but when importing new data sets in this method is very slow, so I want to be able to do the whole thing in VBA.
I am creating a payroll spreadsheet that will look up tax deductions from a spreadsheet I pulled from the IRS website. The first two columns represent a range of values the employee's pay would fall between. The first column is "paid at least" and the second column is "but paid less than".
Once I locate which row the employee's wages fall between, I would then need to match their number of withholdings with the corresponding column. Columns 3, 4 and 5 have headings to represent 0, 1 or 2 withholdings.
The value I need returned would be the intersection of wages paid and withholdings. For my spreadsheet example, if the employee's wages are 1,023 and they have 1 withholding, I need the formula to return 147. I was able to find a vlookup/match formula but it worked only without a range of wages paid.
For example, if the employee was paid exactly 1,030 and had 1 withholding, it would vlookup/match to return 147. Obviously, this won't work with me needing to find the correct row based on where their wage falls in the ranges.

I am looking for some VBA code that will look through a column and delete all but the last duplicate value. The rows are not to be deleted. The duplicate also may not be consecutive (i.e they may appear in rows 2, 3 and 72 - the one in 72 would need keeping).
I did find the following macro which seemed to do the job until I realised it wasn't working if the values weren't consecutive.

I have a spreadsheet that lists employees and their certifications. If an employee has multiple, then they will show up on as many rows as they have certifications.
The macro I have merges them into one row with a line break, but only the first column's unique value has been merged while the other columns containing their own unique values are duplicated when I want them to show up only once. Example: Jane Doe shows up 2 times on the report. Her name should only show up once on the row, not 2 times with a line break.
Here is the code. I have also attached an example of what I need. Because the attachment is a simpler version of the actual report, is it possible to specify which rows have the unique values and which ones don't?

I have some code but I still need to do a considerable amount of tweaking to it. Currently my code is only deleting the duplicate values in Col A. I am having difficulty summing the values in Col D as well as deleting the entire row.
