Conditional Format More Than One Group At A Time?

I have several 4 groups that all need to do the same thing. Is it possible to write all of them in one group or do I have to write each one individual in the conditional formatting?

For example:
=ISEVEN(CJ3007)

Converting Text To Military Date Time Group Format

I am trying to find a way to have excel recognize text data input as date/time.

[Code] .....

Where 02 Is the Date, 2020 is the time (military) Z is Zulu/GMT, MAR is Month and 14 is Year. I believe excel recognizes

[Code] .....

But I have a spreadsheet (on a confidential system) with thousands of entries that I need to convert. Also, the people I have working for me are not remotely. I reject the idea of entering data that way.

I am also trying to keep the display the same format: ddhhmm"Z" MMM yy

Conditional Format Based On A Time

I have a row of cells pertaining to jobs B3 across to I3.

In B3, C3, D3, E3 the value entered is text.
In F3, G3, H3, I3 the value entered is time.

What I am trying to do is to change the Background colour to Red on cells
F3, G3, H3, I3 if either H3 or I3 or are empty at the end of the current day but only if there is some text in any or all of the cells B3 - E3

So for example if H3 or I3 have no time put in them by 23:59 today, when the workbook is opened tomorrow the cells background colour will turn red.

Not sure if this if poossible or not? hopefully I have explained it well enough but if not pease let me know.

I would like to use conditional format to highlight the highest number in each row but I can only do this one row at a time using top/bottom rules (top 1%). Is there a formula that I can use to do all the rows at once instead of one at a time?

Format Group Of Cells

I have a spreadsheet that contains data with the following format:

5 EA/BX
12 EA/PK

Unfortunately, sometimes the data is input without a space:

5EA/BX
12EA/BX

I am looking for a way to insert a space between the data when one does not exist. (I cannot have more than 1 space between the alpha numerical character and the numerical character.)

Group Dates By Month And Year Format

Attached spreadsheet has the resource names and their date of joinings (Column - F2), now I would like group the date of joinings into Month & Year format. I tried text formula and then converted it back to date format but its giving incorrect results. For ex - Column F2 has 9th Sep -2013, whereas my formula in H2 is showing Sep-2014. Any way to group these dates into months in a simpler way?

Once I have this grouping done, I would like to do a pivot and sort them.

Conditional Formatting Group Of Check Boxes

I am creating an income calculation sheet to qualify my borrowers. I have different "types" of income in regards to hourly pay, bonus pay and overtime pay (examples)

I am using check boxes for my worksheet for the income that my underwriters want to use (example OT plus regular pay or Bonus plus regular pay or just regular pay alone can all be different options) they would then just check the box for the combo they want to use. (my check boxes came from the developer tab and I have them formatted to show true/false for checked or unchecked.)

Intro to my problem: We have 3 separate time frames for each type of pay. (I have 2012 Bonus, 2013 Bonus and then 2014 year to date bonus.....and the same for Overtime pay and regular pay, etc.)

My underwriters can only use ONE of the 3 yearly options.

Excel problem: Im thinking I need to go conditional formatting for this, but I need something to pop up if they accidentally have 2 boxes checked in one category. (So if they accidentally mark a box to use 2012 OT AND 2014 OT year to date, thats a problem and will throw the #'s off) So Im thinking there is some way to conditionally format my true/false results from my check boxes. If 2 out of 3 say true, the cell should black out or something along those lines....

How To Have Only One Checkbox In A Group Of 3 Selected At A Time

I have a spreadsheet that consists for 30 rows of groups of three checkboxes on each row. I want to have only one checkbox per row checked at a time. If the user checks one box while another it already checked then I want that checbox to be unchecked.

I want checkboxes to work like groups of option buttons. Actually, option buttons would be fine but with option buttons there is always one clicked but I need them all clear until the user clicks one. They will start off clear but if the user clicks one by mistake there is no way that I know of to clear it again. Checkboxes will clear again if you click it again so I thought I would use them.

Minimum Time For Each Data Group

I'm having an issue right now with an employee list that I am working on. What I am trying to do is determine the earliest time that an employee signed in, but the list that I can export may have the same employee on it multiple times in a day.

Here is a sample of the data that I'm using:

Emp No. Time In

9900874 9:03am
9900874 11:00am
9900874 11:45am
9900875 10:15am
9900875 11:45am

What I want to get is the minimums only, so that the list would show:

Emp No. Time In

I know how I could do this in VBA, however I have everything else working without using VBA, so if possible I would like to leave it that way. Also, I do not know if it would matter to the solution, but the employee numbers are always sorted numerically, although their clock in times are not.

I have a Sheet ( Named "Summary" for Example ) of about 4,000 Rows that has a LOT of Conditional Formatting.

I Added Another 100 Rows this Morning and when I Tried Saving it a Message Saying that Not All the Formatting for the New Data that had Been Added had Been Saved. I am using Excel 2010 on XP. I would like to apply conditional formatting to shade every group in alternating color. For example, I have a list of US states. I have a formula already to produce this:

Current Conditional Formatting Formula: =MOD(SUM(1/COUNTIF($a$2:$a2,$a$2:$a2)),2)=1

STATES (unfiltered)

When I apply a filter, the rows remain shaded as they were originally:

I want the conditional format to change when I have filtered out items (DESIRED RESULT):

I would assume SUBTOTAL(3,...) would need to be incorported into the conditional formatting formula above, but I do not know how.

Conditional Format Based On A Conditional Format

I have five fields that have a conditional format applied to them: (see attached).
Columns J, K, L, N and O. These conditionals highlight if a minimum number is entered. Ex. Minimum pushups for a 30 y/o male is 27, if a 26 is entered it highlights red. The total score (where I need this to perform) is calculated in column Q. It will format red if the total score is below 75 but what I can't figure out is how to make it format if any of the previous minimums have not been met.

Ex. In cell L4, his crunches were 25 (a automatic failure -- red formatting). Now the total score is above 75 so it calculates as passing (green), but I need it to highlight red regardless because of the minimum not met in cell L4.
