I'd like to be able to have a macro that will create a pivot table based on a range, open up each of the total rows within the pivot table (which will create a new sheet), name the worksheet the title of the total row corresponding to it then copy each worksheet created by the pivot and paste into another sheet in a required format.

Separate Data Groups To Seperate Worksheets

I have a data sheet of 190,000 lines. It is a telecommunications bill with has approx 15 columns.

I need to separate the spreed sheet into the respective "call types" and put this data onto separate tabs, at the moment I do it all manually with Excel 2007.

Is there a way of automating this separation of data

Add-in To Saving Groups Of Worksheets As A Single Workbook

I have another little conumdrum I'm trying to work out.

I'm using one of Ron's scripts as an add-in which I've just amended the output path for.

This script essentially creates a new workbook from each worksheet in the active workbook.

As I have a workbook of about 500 worksheets, I am trying to group the worksheets opposed to having to split all and rejoin them manually.

Luckily all of my worksheets names are initials with numbers after them (as assigned by excel when merged):

e.g., RH, RH (2), RH (3), RH (4), AG, AG (2), AG (3) and so on.

That said there are some random ones too, but I'm happy for them to be kicked out as individual files.

Anyway I'm pretty sure there is a way this can be added into this existing script by addressing Sheet.Name perhaps but I'm a bit unsure exactly..

Sorted in order (i.e. 2,3,4) would also be a bonus but not essential as they need to manually checked and I have a separate macro for sorting worksheets anyway.

-name of the worksheets to be copied in column "H" from sheet "final"
-diferent number in the worksheets in column "F" and "G"

Outpt data:
-I need to copy data from some worksheets(column F and G) in "final" worksheet (column A and B). But I need to copy data only from the worksheets with the name in column "H" of "final" worsksheet.

I have found how to copy information from all worksheets to 'Results' but not from selected worksheets that begin with the name 'Sheet'.

Copy Matching Data From 2 Worksheets

I have a workbook with 3 sheets. AP, Move, Match. AP & Move will be about 40,000 lines.

I need a macro that will take the data from those two sheets and match them up on the match sheet by column A Line by line with all data moving over. An example is attached.

I'm not sure if this is possible, but please let me know if you need more info because I really don't want to do this manually. Anything that doesn't match I just need a blank line. I can add the true-false formula, but if it would fit in the macro that would be cool to.

How do I create code that will copy and paste 30 rows of data

Copy from filename "Record1", worksheet name "CA3M", in column A and B, and Paste data in filename "Record2", worksheet name "CA3M"

- Column A 30 rows of data paste into A20:A49 of the new file and worksheet

- Column B 30 rows of data paste into E20:E49 of the new file and worksheet, prior to pasting these results remove all dashes "-" eg.0-0-1 = 001

The location of the 30 rows of data to be copied changes, so the code should always look for the following information in the row before and after the 30 rows to copy in column A and B:

- Find the 30 rows of data in Column A and B where the first row immediately follows the row with the cell result "Account Date" and the last row is immediately before the row with the cell result "Previous Page Page".

Also, I will probably have to update the code to repeat this function for several other worksheets within these 2 files after my database is completely built.

I have a workbook with 26 multiple worksheets that each represent 1 of 26 payperiods per year (bi-weekly payperiods). These worksheets consists of rows of employees names and hours worked each day. The columns consist of dates representing each day in that payperiod.

I need to be able to search all the worksheets (ie. search all 26 payperiods) to find specific 30 day intervals and then copy each employees hours worked to a master spreadsheet. I have tried variations of Index & Match formulae as well as vlookup/hlookup/ISNA without luck. I am not able to use VBA.

I am trying to filter the data in my fortnightly timesheets based on each job code (of which there are multiple)to a new sheet. I have found code on the net which should be doing this but it keeps falling over on the following line:

rng.autofilter field:=fieldnum, criteriea1:="=" & cell.value

The error i am getting is: "Run-time error 1004:". Autofilter method of range class failed. The code has already taken out the unique values from my master sheet and copied the list to a new worksheet. It should then use this list as the criteria to filter the master sheet. I have spent hours looking at other web pages for an answer to this particular error but none are using a variable criteria like i am.

Copy Matching Data & Heading Between Worksheets

I have to write a macro that will copy the values of 'Items' in 'worksheet 2' to 'Items' in 'worksheet 1' ONLY when the 'Title' value is matching in both worksheets AND the value of ' Heading' in worksheet 2 is 'Entry1'.

Example:

- I copy some records from a Database into an Excel sheet in workbook (say W1) in the Worksheet WS1.
- The i look up for values in a column (say column B) of W1 in another worksheet in another workbook(say W2) .
- If i find a match in Workbook 2(W2) ,Worksheet 1 , Row 2, Column A ; i look at the values in the Column B, F,G on the Row 2 itself.
- Each of these values can be found in the corresponding Worksheets 2;3;4 in the Workbook2(W2) .
- Then i need to pick up all these values from worksheet 1;2;3;4 in W2 and contatenate them and put them in the Workbook W1 against the Row .
- Similarly i process all the non zero rows in the workbook W1.

Now I have to select 2nd worksheet of input report and copy a certain range values and paste in the other workbook(output) . From the same sheet 3 diffrent values I will copy and paste in other work book.

Now, I have to come back to the input report and go to next sheet and copy the same range data and append to the out put report below the first sheet.

This I need to do for all worksheets for the input report worksheets (there are more than 100 worksheets)

I have a userform which loads the data into a worksheet named "Data" which is being used as a database for an event scheduler. I also load a calendar from a worksheet named "Month" so I need the information from the userform "UForm01" added to 2 worksheets.

The userform adds a series of textboxes to worksheet "Data" in the first open row. I also need certain textboxes from the Userform to be added to another worksheet to populate the calendar.

Loop Command Macro To Copy Data Between Worksheets

I am having trouble creating a macro for an excel file I am working on. I do not have much experience writing macros, so I apologize for any confusion. I have created a simplified version of the file I am attempting to write a macro for and attached it to my post here.

At this point it would be helpful for you to open up the attached file so that you can understand my explanation.

Basically what I want the macro to do is:

1. Match up "Product" on Wksht(Input) with "Product" on Wksht(Data).

2. Copy the "Usage per ton" and "Dollars per ton" values corresponding to the given product from Wksht(Input) to Wksht(Data) for the correct month. (The user will manually enter the month, ie "August 09" into Wksht(Input) each month when he runs the macro.)
++The color fills will not exist on my finished macro. I only put them there to illustrate the values that will be copied and pasted.

I want the macro to be written with Loop commands so that it will check to be sure the product number matches with the given location for pasting the data values. I should also note I use PasteSpecial_Values because of the formulas in the cells on Wksht(Input).

I have data on a worksheet (“Interface”) that I need to copy over 7 other tabs for analysis.

("Module_1", "Module_2", "Module_3", "Module_4", "Module_5", "Module_6", "Module_7").

The linking Field on the Interface tab defines what row I need to paste the data to on Module 1-7. The column headers are the same on both the interface and other tabs (“YES, NO, N/A, BLANKS, STANDARDS MET, STANDARDS NOT MET, NOT APPLICABLE”)

Copy Data From Various Worksheets And Display Row By Row In Single Worksheet?

I data on a master document and have data sent in from various independent offices which I would like to reconcile. Each region along with the master is posted onto a separate worksheet in my spreadsheet but I would like to copy specific information in worksheet order and paste row by row onto single worksheet in order to run a comparison. The data needed is in the same order but the number of rows reported on each work sheet will differ day by day. If worksheet 1 displays 50 rows in the consolidated sheet I would like worksheet 2 start in row 51, if however worksheet 1 finished in 24, I would like worksheet 2 to start in 25. Now I also want each worksheet to start reporting once the previous worksheet is complete and when there is no data in a specific worksheet, I would like the process to be able to continue.. so sheet 1 reports, then sheet 2 but sheet 3 has no data so it jumps to sheet 4 to begin.

For example consider various cities, New York, London, Frankfurt & Tokyo, each has sales of various products from a catalogue range but the products sold differ each week based on regional trends. The master document which is independent also reports sales but this is manual so I would like to pick up any inaccuracies through reconciliation.

Outside of VBA and Macros, is it possible to get excel to report data sheet by sheet onto one in a continuous order?

I have built a sheet - sheet1 like this: It has 2 columns, header (line 1,9,19 etc...)and blank line (line 8,18,27 etc...) between groups. Groups are derived in the first column - Name.

What I'm trying to do is loop to take each group and copy it to a new sheet. Also it is necessary that the name of the new sheet will be derived from column A (A,B,C etc...).

Split & Copy Groups/Segments Based On Cell Value In Column

This is my first post but I have been using Ozgrid for awhile now. I am farily good with excel formulas but have just started with macros so bear with me if i dont understand what you mean at first.

I am looking for a way to copy rows our of sheet2 in the attached sheet based on the value in the segments column in sheet 2. The rows need to be paste into sheet3 (already has heading set up). The segments value is the number of times i need each row copied into the next sheet. The purpose of this is to split random length samples into 10cm incriments for study. For example, a 1.5m sample is taken so there should be 15 segments of 10cm each copied into sheet3.

Also, if possible, it would be nice for it to display the actual length of the segment after copied into sheet3 for cases where the length was not evenly divisible by 10. I have found several examples of row copying macros, but none that will copy a conditional number of hte same row based on a cell value. In the original data there are close to 4000 rows, but the number of rows will vary depending on the data source.

Another thought I had was if the total number of available rows is going to be exceded would it be possible to have the rows pasted into different sheets based on the rock type listed in the column?
