Copy Data From Selected Worksheets Only?

I am trying to work out how to copy all data from worksheets that begin with the name 'Sheet' and paste that information onto the next available blank cell in a workbook called 'Results'. I have found how to copy information from all worksheets to 'Results' but not from selected worksheets that begin with the name 'Sheet'.

I am setting up a macro where the user opens their chosen file & their chosen worksheet which gets renamed & entered into my workbook. I can get them to open a workbook but I am having problems with the user being able to choose a worksheet and copy it over.

Copy Selected Worksheets As Values To New Workbook

I have a workbook with 30 some sheets. I would like to have a macro that if i select multiple sheets, will paste the values and formats of those sheets into a new workbook. I would like this to keep the names of the worksheets when transfered to the new workbook.

Thus far, I have been using this code, which does nearly everything i want, but instead of pasting the values, it gives me #VALUE! for nearly all the cells. Most of the cells are using Vlookup and/or Indirect functions to reference other sheets- not sure if this is relevant. The few cells that do paste accurately are either text or simply reference another cell on a different worksheet without a function.

Here's my code.

Extracting Selected Data Into New Worksheets

I have a workbook, see attached example, which has multiple columns. I want to extract the data for a certain criteria, in this example column E "product".

I then want to take all of the data in columns A to L for the chosen criteria e.g. product 1696 and place it in a new worksheet. I want to do this for every unique product. The example I have given only shows 2 products and limited rows, in reality I could have 50-60 products with hundreds of rows per product.

Copy Selected Data Onto New Sheet...

I have a button the brings a dialog box with a list box. on selecting a figure in the listbox and clicking 'OK' the figure is transferred to a cell in a worksheet.

The column under this cell has a formula with the result True/False. The autofilter then selects only 'True', and then should copy the active range to a new sheet, preferably named according to the value first selected.

It must be possible for the user to have several of these ranges copied to different sheets for printing purposes, which is not a problem as this already works with the code.

Hi excel masters, I have questions on how to built a macro to copy selected the data from one sheet (contains data) to a summary sheet, I used excel 2007.

The macro I want to run to achive those result:
The data on the data sheet listed similar like below:

in first column (contains name) as below,

yy
yy
zz
zz
in the summary sheet, I want to copy one particular name from datasheet to cell A17 and below, based on the the selection criteria I enter in cell B1.

For example, if I want to show xx in summary sheet, I input xx in cell B1, and run macro to list xx one by one from A17, A18, A19....

I need to macro to run to search entire list to include the value I selected.

Copy Selected Data To Workbook On Desktop..

As the buyer edits orders, I have a macro which pulls out all the parts with changes and puts them on a sheet named "Changes" in the attached "Sample" workbook. Since the buyer will do dozens of these edits a day, I'm trying to create a simple way for them to create a list of parts they may want to try and buy from another source.

I would like to add a macro that would open a message box telling the buyer to select the parts they want to copy. They could select whatever rows they want to copy to the "Backorder List", and select "OK" or hit "Enter", and the macro would open the workbook named "Backorder List.xls" on their desktop, (mine is located under "C:Documents and Settingsjerry.hutchesonDesktop"), and copy the selected rows to the workbook, then save changes and close the "List" workbook. It should only paste the values, to preserve whatever formatting is in the book being copied TO, and it should copy below any data already in the workbook.

To make things even more difficult, the macro would also need to copy the Vendor # and PO # from the top of the "Sample" workbook, (cells B2 and B3 respectively), and enter that data beside the other data just pasted beside the parts data in the backorder list. (I have entered sample data in the backorder list to show what I mean.)

VBA To Copy Selected Cells To Clipboard With Text Data

Need aid in copying certain cells with text/labels to clipboard to format a body of email to be sent via Yahoo webmail, so I can paste it where needed.

I did a couple of Excel VBA's back in 2000 or so at last job but haven't seen/used VBA since.

Have a spreadsheet with customer data, (one cust per row) and wish to create something like the following in clipboard (in this example, assuming row 2 is the selected row)...I'll only be sending out one or two of these per day so nothing fancy is needed, just a way to avoid retyping critical data that could get mistyped.

Copy Data Cells Only In Selected Cell Column

I have a macro that loops through several workbooks and copies data to one common sheet. Works great with one flaw that I have not been able to resolve. I am using the End Property example below, this works great as long as there are more than one cell with data. With one cell having data this takes you to the bottom of the sheet.

Need code to select from a specific cell to the last cell in that column with data where when the selected cell is the only one with data that would be the only cell selected.

Copy Data From One Sheet To Another Automatically Based On Number Selected In Dropdown Control

I'm trying to copy data from one sheet to another sheet automatically based on a number selected in a drop down control.

I have used OFFSET to pull some information successfully from a list. This is easy for me to do with single entries and a list and has worked well. I want to do similar but with a dataset not just single cells.

But, I can't seem to make OFFSET work to show a set of data easily.

Perhaps I will need VB code to do so? Or there is another control I'm not aware of? I've done very little with VB.

I'll attach a sample file to try to show better what I'm trying to do.

Copy Matching Data From 2 Worksheets

I have a workbook with 3 sheets. AP, Move, Match. AP & Move will be about 40,000 lines.

I need a macro that will take the data from those two sheets and match them up on the match sheet by column A Line by line with all data moving over. An example is attached.

I'm not sure if this is possible, but please let me know if you need more info because I really don't want to do this manually. Anything that doesn't match I just need a blank line. I can add the true-false formula, but if it would fit in the macro that would be cool to.

How do I create code that will copy and paste 30 rows of data

Copy from filename "Record1", worksheet name "CA3M", in column A and B, and Paste data in filename "Record2", worksheet name "CA3M"

- Column A 30 rows of data paste into A20:A49 of the new file and worksheet

- Column B 30 rows of data paste into E20:E49 of the new file and worksheet, prior to pasting these results remove all dashes "-" eg.0-0-1 = 001

The location of the 30 rows of data to be copied changes, so the code should always look for the following information in the row before and after the 30 rows to copy in column A and B:

- Find the 30 rows of data in Column A and B where the first row immediately follows the row with the cell result "Account Date" and the last row is immediately before the row with the cell result "Previous Page Page".

Also, I will probably have to update the code to repeat this function for several other worksheets within these 2 files after my database is completely built.

I have a workbook with 26 multiple worksheets that each represent 1 of 26 payperiods per year (bi-weekly payperiods). These worksheets consists of rows of employees names and hours worked each day. The columns consist of dates representing each day in that payperiod.

I need to be able to search all the worksheets (ie. search all 26 payperiods) to find specific 30 day intervals and then copy each employees hours worked to a master spreadsheet. I have tried variations of Index & Match formulae as well as vlookup/hlookup/ISNA without luck. I am not able to use VBA.

I am trying to filter the data in my fortnightly timesheets based on each job code (of which there are multiple)to a new sheet. I have found code on the net which should be doing this but it keeps falling over on the following line:

rng.autofilter field:=fieldnum, criteriea1:="=" & cell.value

The error i am getting is: "Run-time error 1004:". Autofilter method of range class failed. The code has already taken out the unique values from my master sheet and copied the list to a new worksheet. It should then use this list as the criteria to filter the master sheet. I have spent hours looking at other web pages for an answer to this particular error but none are using a variable criteria like i am.

Copy Matching Data & Heading Between Worksheets

I have to write a macro that will copy the values of 'Items' in 'worksheet 2' to 'Items' in 'worksheet 1' ONLY when the 'Title' value is matching in both worksheets AND the value of ' Heading' in worksheet 2 is 'Entry1'.

Example:

Find, Match & Copy Data Between Worksheets

- I copy some records from a Database into an Excel sheet in workbook (say W1) in the Worksheet WS1.
- The i look up for values in a column (say column B) of W1 in another worksheet in another workbook(say W2) .
- If i find a match in Workbook 2(W2) ,Worksheet 1 , Row 2, Column A ; i look at the values in the Column B, F,G on the Row 2 itself.
- Each of these values can be found in the corresponding Worksheets 2;3;4 in the Workbook2(W2) .
- Then i need to pick up all these values from worksheet 1;2;3;4 in W2 and contatenate them and put them in the Workbook W1 against the Row .
- Similarly i process all the non zero rows in the workbook W1.

Copy Data From All Worksheets One By One And Append In The Master Workbook

I have a report(Input report) with multiple sheets with different worksheet names.

Now I have to select 2nd worksheet of input report and copy a certain range values and paste in the other workbook(output) . From the same sheet 3 diffrent values I will copy and paste in other work book.

Now, I have to come back to the input report and go to next sheet and copy the same range data and append to the out put report below the first sheet.

This I need to do for all worksheets for the input report worksheets (there are more than 100 worksheets)
