Display Only A Particular Range Of Cells According To Data In A Pointed Cell

I cant seem to work around this in excel.
For example.
I got work sheet with all data, and i need something like, if cell A1 = Left, and cell A2 = right, display only a range of data, say all data in row P to R and row U to W only accordingly to the criteria i set in a new worksheet in same workbook. And i need the display data to update automatically everytime i change the criteria.

I know how to turn the autocomplete on and off but I don´t have a clue where I configure the data range or the cells to display the list when the combo box is clicked.
I am assuming that this is done in the Edit mode at "linkedCell" and LisfFillRange ... yet I can´t get this to work.

I have the following formula that is supposed to grab a value from C2 and check for that value in a range of cells and if it matches it is supposed to display the corresponding value in another range of cells. What am I missing??

I am attempting to make a range of cells' data be deleted if a cell outside of that range that had a name in it is no longer there. So if I have a list of names in cells A1:A6 and a range of data in cells D10:E20 that corresponds to a name in cell A2. If the name in A2 is deleted I would want the data in D10:E20 to be deleted.

There will be anywhere from 1 to 5 values in each of these columns, but not
successively. There will be several blank cells inbetween these nonblank
cells, which I need stacked neatly into the first five rows at the top of the
worksheet.
Example:
(A10) - Apples
(A17) - Oranges
(A23) - Peaches
(A38) - Some other fruit of your choice...

What I would like to do is use a drop down list Type 1, Type 2, Type 3 etc and then be able to use whatever is selected to reference a value in another cell.
Excuse my ignorance but something like Cell 1 * (If Type 1 from the list is selected use figure in Cell 3, If Type 2 from the list is selected use figure in Cell 4..........) etc etc

In my excel sheet i have few results displayed in range (same row different column with few banks cells in between). No i wish to display the most repeated value / result from that range into another cell on a different sheet of the same workbook. Can somebody help please.
Please note that the data (that is displayed in the cell rage from where i wish to get the most repeated one) is a the result of a nested IF statement.

I am getting a mismatch error on arrow pointed below. whenever a entered is then deleted in the cells i.e. H50 and H51. I've included the workbook here just in case.

I am not very smart in Excel. I have problem with pulling data from the following range of rows.
A
1 Apple
2 Banana
3
4 Grapes
5
6 Pomegranates
Expected Result: Apple, Banana, Grapes and Pomegranates
scenario: One or more than one of any of the 6 rows can be blank. I need a formula or procedure that pulls together data from A1:A6 automatically and adds "and" between the last two values. See the expected result above for an example.

obviously if one wants to count all cells that contain data they can use COUNTA, but what if i have a range of cells that contain IF formulas and only want to count the cells that display data?
presumably you'd have to use some variation of NOT(""), but i can't seem to make it work.

I have a field called “Age”. What I want to do is; If I type in the person’s age say “26” then I want another cell to display an age range (i need to entered the age ranges i want eg “16-20, 21-29, 30-39” etc. So if I type in 26 in the first filed I want to second cell to display “20-29”.

How could I create a menu that displays cells from another sheet when the appropriate menu value is selected?
For example, the menu (on sheet 3) would have:
Week 1
Week 2
Week 3
If I select Week 1, I want to display cells B4:B10 from sheet 2 underneath the menu. If I select Week 2, I want it to display cells B19:B25 from sheet 2 under the menu.

I am trying to create a table, based on what people predict in sports games. I have most of it in place, but I have hit a brick wall where one part of it is concerned. For example, cells M43:M56 have the scores for each week of what one person predicted., so it could be 2,5,7,2 and so on. What I then need the table to do is determine which round or week it is and display the relevant score. So based on the above let's say it's round 3, and his score would be 7 for the week, and the cell to the right of this shows the week's score plus his total score so far.

I have attached a spreadsheet that is causing me difficulty. I currently have a formula that is displaying in V3 the highest grade when it looks up the data in A3,H3 & O3. Then this is repeated for W3 when the data is looked up in B3, I3 & P3 etc etc... BUT
I need the formula to work if only block one is complete i.e. (1 Explore grade, 1 Plan Grade, 1 Make Grade etc).(please see the example to understand what is meant by a block)
The current formulae will only display a grade if all cells are complete i.e., A3,H3 & O3.
So I am looking for the formula to:
If A3 has a grade in it I wish V3 to display it because its the only grade. (even if H3 & O3 are blank)
As and when H3 has a grade filled in I want the formula to select the highest and display it in V3 (again even if O3 is blank)
As and when A3, H3 & O3 has a grade in it I wish the formula to lookup and display the highest in V3
Ans this repeated for all different areas, Explore, Plan, Make etc.

I'm trying to have text in a specific column output a letter, only if every cell in a range of 4 contains the letter Y (yes). Using IF/SUMIF formulae I have managed to get he final cell to output the text, but it does it if ay one of the range of four cells contains the data, not all of them, which Is what is desired.

I have searched and trying to manipulate various formulas with no success...
I am entering an AverageIF formula into cell J15
I want to calculate the average of the folllowing ranges cells J5:J8,J10:J13
However, I want the cell J15 to display blank if cell J14=0
On reflection I am unsure an AverageIF formula is even correct.

I have some dynamic named ranges in sheet1, and in sheet2 I have data validation dropdown list which has the names of all the DNR's in it.
What I want it to do (in sheet3, no less) is for the user to be able to pick a named range from the dropdown list, and have a particular column in sheet3 then display that entire named range.
I have made a 'data' worksheet which is the source for the data validation in sheet2. Each item in the list identically matches the name of each of the named ranges. I was hoping to be able to use some form of =INDIRECT but alas, no such luck.
So it's almost like a copy and paste function I'm after, where:
If you pick "Schedule_From" out of the DD-list, then DNR 'Schedule_From' is what is pasted in Column B in Sheet3.
DON'T want to use a PivotTable.

Is there a way to make a cell display the text difference between two cells?
For example of cell E2 reads "Thank Goodness it is Friday" and cell F2 reads "Thank Goodness" can I put a formula in H2 that will show the text that is in E2 but not F2 ( "it is Friday")?

I have 2 problems relating to LOOKUP.
Not sure if Excel can perform these calculations as they could get to complex.
Problem 1
Can it be possible to have excel look at data from one cell reference another cell then display the results from the cell next to it in another cell, sort of example:
Tab 1 (Never changes)
AB
Bob1
Jon2
Fred3
Tab 2 (Dynamic, changes each week)
AB
Jon
Fred
Bob
So it would work as follows.
Tab2 column B will take Tab2 column A’s data check Tab1 column A and display Tab1 column B’s result.
