How i could this one in formula or macro, first my 1st sheet is just as show below (maybe use for a template)
1st sheet (full list)

then 2nd sheet, report i get which something like this :

so basically i want add missing row on sheet 2 from sheet 1

I have one excel 2010 workbook with 5 work sheets, each work sheet contains a list with first/last name(one column) and the company name, some have a 3rd column with their email address in each sheet represents each year starting at 2008 thru to 2013 i have to find out if the people that attended an event in 2008 also attended it in 2009/10/11/12/13 and if they didnt, put their name and company name onto a blank worksheet within the same workbook without using a macro, how can i do this?

I'm working to compare to sheet every days and i have been doing this for 2 years
I need to write macro to compare 2 columns from two sheets (sheet1 and sheet2) on same excel book and display the result on the sheet2. The number of rows and columns may not be equal and it can vary each time.
The result should be written in the sheet2 at column 'NOTES'
If serial number is blank, the result written at NOTES column =*NOT TRACK
If serial number found on sheet 1-serialNumber column, the result written at NOTES column =*Registered
If no serial number found on sheet 1-serialNumber column, the result written at NOTES column =*New registration
Example Sheet1:
PurchaseOrderNo
Manufacturer
ProductNumber
SerialNumber
PO123
Table

I have like above 12 sheets (JAN-12 to DEC-12). I want to make a summary in new sheet base on bellow condition.
All the 12 sheets , data need to copy to new sheet & same time if Column "C,D & F" values are repeating in same sheet or any other sheets then that repeating rows column " H" values should summarized (only one entry should display in summary).

I am looking up the largest value across various sheets (1 to 99) with the following formula:
=LARGE('1:99'!$B$1:$B$50;$C3)
That correctly returns the largest value in range B1:B50 across sheets 1 to 99.
However now I want to know the sheet name of the value above in a seperate cell, let say in: A3.
I'm using excel 2010.

I have two columns which i want to compare, they contain text data such as A123.
what I'd like is if its in column A and not in Column B then add to bottom of column A.
Once its in column A i can do the vlookup's to draw the other data, costs etc, over but don't know how to identify, and add, the missing codes to the list.

I produced several charts in Excel 2007. They display just fine when using Excel 2007, but when we try to open it in our office computers (which uses Excel 2010), the Axis and Legend Labels simply vanish.I know there's these fixes for Excel 2007, deleting a buggy MS hotfix or installing the KB2597962 fix. But the problem is, I need it to display in our Excel 2010 computers.

I've recently been making a macro in visual basic that loops through all my excel files and replaces an old company name to a new company name and It's working great, well except for one thing... It always misses one string in the file and it leaves me with 90% of the file corrected. I think that the string might be a part of a merged range so Range.Find is not able to find it. I was suggested to use this code:

I am trying to add a calendar picker to Excel 2010. Everything I read online says that it is possible, you just need to use the ActiveX control "Microsoft Date and Time Picker Control 6.0", and that it should be listed under Developer Tab -> Insert -> More Controls ->... But it's not listed.
I also tried downloading the Microsoft Windows Common Controls-2 6.0, but when I tried to add it to Excel using "Register Custom...", it says "Cannot register this control".
Why this control is missing? and I can't add it?

I have 2 columns directly next to each other each containing dates.
Example 1:
F2 = 5/23/13
G2 = 5/23/14
Example 2:
F3 = 6/6/13
G3 = 4/11/14
I wanted to do a conditional formatting that would highlight the cell in
column G if the Month/Day doesn't match the Month/Day in column F
Is there a way to do this with Excel only looking at the Day/Month and ignoring the year??

i have a list of information on one spreadsheet, for instance in column A i have countrys in column b i have descriptions and in colum d i have names. there is several hundred lines of this information and someone has gone in and edited some, taken a few lines out etc, i was just wanting to know how i can compare the two sheets to see what changes have been made? Or what now doesn't match up etc?

I created a slick little excel sheet with the data coming in automatically via Access query. It has been working fine for months. Now all of the sudden there are a bunch of cells with missing data. The weird part is it's not as if whole columns are missing data, more like 90% missing. When I go to Access and run the query all cells are populated as the should be. There have been no changes to the query at all during this time.
btw...I am running Office 2010

at first i wrote company's name short so that i have to type less but now i want full name of company.....
like.....if in sheet#1 column B any company's name is started by Rel of sheet#2 column A , then the cell containing Rel is replaced by Reliance Industries ( sheet#2 column B but same row that of Rel) ........in sheet#1

if there is a text differences i m able to capture them but i m unable to capture the diferences between the two cells that are underlined, hyperlined colored etc. is there any function in vba to do that ???

I have 2 lists (excel 2010) that I need to compare (they are currently 2 files, but I can combine them into 1 file with 2 worksheets) if it would be better.
The first list is of "All Students" at our college. The second list is those students who live "ON campus". I need a list of those students who live OFF campus.
The common denominator headers in both lists is: A1 Last Name A2 First Name
I would like to keep the "All Students" list as my master as it contains all the data I need such as addresses.
Ideally, I would like to create a macro or lookup or whatever that will take everyone from the "ON" list and remove them from the "ALL" list, leaving me with the data I need.

Creating a macro to compare 2 sheets in a workbook and print the differences to a 3rd sheet.
Each sheet will have the same number of fields, 5 columns with the header in the first row.
All values in the cells are integer except for the last field which will be a character.
The key is the value in the 2nd column. If it's not in the other sheet, then it's a new record. If it's a new record then highlight it a color depending on what sheet contains the new record. Now if the key is the same in both sheets, then check the other columns to see what's different. If there is a difference, print the record for both sheets in the third sheet and highlight the differences. I attached a sample of what I want.

What I am trying to do here is to compare 2 lists in 2 different files, and when there is a match, then copy and paste the related cells of the matching name. Sorry if this sounds messy, perhaps the sample file I have attached can explain better.
Every month I get a new file in the format of “Data Source” sheet where the list of banks in column A and the figures in column M, AA and AB might change from month to month. For the sake of convenience, I put the source data as a different sheet instead of different file here.
I have an existing report template in the format of “Final report” sheet where basically I copy and paste the relevant cells according to the name of the banks.
I don’t think I can use Vlookup because the cells that I want to extract are not right beside the search criteria. If I’m wrong please correct me.
Anyway, assuming a macro is needed for this, I am wondering if I can create a macro, where it can search the list of banks in column A in “Data Source” sheet based on the list in column A in “Final Report” sheet, then copy the correct cells from column M, AA and AB and then paste them into the correct cells in columns B, E and H in “Final Report” worksheet?
Note that not all the banks in the “Final Report” sheet are in the “Data Source”, so for this example, row 4 for ABN Bank should remain blank after the search because it is not listed in the “Data Source”. The Data Source List might also change over time.
There is also this problem of the bank names from the “Data Source” sheet not being exactly the same as the existing list in “Final Report”. For example in this file, ANZ Bank in the other sheet have all the extra stuff behind, but we know it is the same bank.

I have 1 workbook, with 3 sheets. Sheet1 (EVER) has 3000+ rows and 12 columns of customer information. This sheet is for all customers who have ever placed an order. Sheet2 (06-07) has 1500+ rows and 12 columns of customer information. This sheet has all customers who have placed an order in the last 2 years. Sheet3 has 1 row, which consists of the column titles (12 columns) that are on Sheet1 and Sheet2.
I need to put all customers that are on Sheet1, but not on Sheet2 in Sheet3. I have tried VLookup; advanced Filter and a number of codes in the last 3 days and have not been able to figure this out.
