Code macro, is to move the duplicate values in sheet2,
I want to change that results from sheet 2 to be placed on columns A and B, not as it is now spread all over the sheet 2

I have a file with many values, distributed across multiple columns.
From sheet1 i want to find and move all the duplicate values in the sheet 2 and I need a macro,a code macro to work at the level of the sheets, Sheet1-Sheet2
I want to move cut/paste all values duplicates 2 times 3 times or how many times is found from sheet1, in sheet2,but in sheet1 to keep single values, in sheet 1 to remain single value, only the values themselves which didn't pair I mean if a value is 2 times to move the original value but and double found.
I need to move the rows from one sheet to another sheet upon clicking the ‘Submit’ button.
I will manually update my efforts in ‘Sheet 1’ and when I click ‘Submit’, it should “copy” the rows to the next sheet (Sheet 2). However, it should not duplicate the entries irrespective of clicking Submit multiple times. Obviously, while clicking ‘Submit’ it should check the entry for that particular employee name and date in the ‘Sheet 2’ and remove that completely and update the new entries and this should avoid duplicates for that date. Every time when I add new entries for a different name and for dirrerent employee, it should keep appending the Sheet 2.
In addition, it should avoid copying the blank rows from Sheet 1 (S. No column will not be blank usually) to Sheet 2.
All this should happen upon clicking the Submit button.
I have only recently started to learn VBA and have been putting it to practice in creating userforms to help people at my work to be able to timetable more quickly.
I have realised however that in many cases the basic code that I have been using could often be improved. However in the sections below I have not been able to work this out for myself. This needs to be done as after a large number of worksheets exists excel gradually gets slower and slower when running the macros.
I have data that looks like this:

How do you write an excel macro that looks at the number in the first column (day #) and finds all the duplicate id#s in the second column that are in day 1and adds the amounts together in the 3rd column then writes the first column number (day#), second column number(id#) and the third column (sum of the amounts of duplicate Id#) to an new worksheet. Then the macro would loop through day #2 and do the same thing. Notice that the values in the id column are unique in this data set below this is how I would like the data to look. I have accomplished this in a pivot table but my problem is I need a cvs file to export the final data into an external database which is why I need a macro.....
I need to generate a form letter from values on another sheet. I'm using vlookup and as you know, for duplicate values, only the first reference is given. I have several duplicates and need to pull the correct row data for each instance. I would need to replace each vlookup with the proper formula in my letter.

As you could see on column A i have several entries,some of them duplicated. In column B i have a formula to check weather the value on column A is duplicated or Not. From this values i want to count only one instance of duplicated entries. I want to have one instance of Oscar to be counted as original and regardless the number of duplicates i want to count only 1. i want this not only for Oscar but for all the duplicates with more than 1 duplicate result.

I want to compare both tables, finding the same Number on Column 1 for each table, and sum the values of column 2.
I have 2 sheets that i need to find what the same valued cells are.
1 sheet has names and i need to find the rows where those same names are on the 2nd sheet.
The formats are different (upper-lower case) and there is additional text as part of the cells in the 2nd sheet. (i.e prod123.web.corp.com) and i just need to find the prod123 parts.

I want to compare two worsheets, sheet 1 has the order number with description (which i have to find) for the current month and sheet two has got standard report from the past week giving all the order numbers with no description. I have made up 7 worksheets that are completely identical with exception of course to the data they contain. I have a master sheet that contains some of the data from each of the other sheets that will be shared between them. Things were working very well until I discovered that some data was duplicated on a couple of the sheets; and I am in need of adding more worksheets.
The formula I am using for this will not allow me to have more than the 7 worksheets. It is an IF statement array. So now I am wondering how will I be able to add these extra sheets. I would like to use my worksheet names in a range but have evidently done something wrong and could not get that to work before, ending up with this very long 'IF'. !Can worksheet names be used to create a named range?
Also, I would like to know if there is a way to prevent duplicate data on these sheets. I am using conditional formatting on each sheet now, but that of course only works on the current sheet.
I want to do, is search column A for claim numbers that match. When I do have a matching claim number, I want to concatenate the original cells ownership field with the said matching cells ownership field (or move into a column in the same row, I can always concatenate later). Once that is complete, I want to delete the row I took the information out of.
I want to join this data in ArcGIS, but as of right now, it's not a 1-to-1 relationship, so only a relate works. That doesn't help me as I want to display claims by ownership, and this can vary per claim. Company A may have 100% on one claim, and then split another claim 50% with Company B.
This causes a double entry on the claim field in this current spreadsheet I have, which requires me to clean it up by making multiple columns of ownership vs. an additional row for shared ownership.

I have a list of ID's but in the same list there are duplicates, then I have my consolidation sheet without any duplicates, my issue is that I need to have the contents of a different column for each of the ID's.

I have a worksheet that has 3 duplicate values in a particular column, I need a macros that will highlight two of the duplicates row and then another macro to delete the entire row. The duplicate element are in column R. find attached worksheet.

I am using the following macro to insert the word "Duplicate" in the first blank column next to a duplicate row. My data is sorted by the first column. Data Example:

Here is the macro I am using and it does not work. It marks the first duplicate it finds then goes into an infinite loop. Any Idea where I went wrong?

I currently have this code here that DELETES duplicate rows in the "Customer Number" column..
How can I modify this code to instead take any 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc occurrence of a duplicate row and move it to a new worksheet named "Duplicates" and ALSO KEEP THE HEADER ROW?

I have some code but I still need to do a considerable amount of tweaking to it. Currently my code is only deleting the duplicate values in Col A. I am having difficulty summing the values in Col D as well as deleting the entire row.

I need a formula that will look at a entire work sheet find a name, then find a date, and display a string from a cell in the date row.
For example I want it to first find all the rows that has "Jane Doe", then find a specific date from those rows, and then display a value from a cell in that row. Keep in mind that the there will be no consistency with the row data, but the column's are static.

I'm trying to create a macro that will take a value found on Sheet 1 in Column A and search Sheet 2 Column D. If the value matches exactly it will highlight the row on Sheet 2 in Red and if a match is found but it has some extra characters in the list it will highlight the row in Yellow. I have included a sample sheet to show you exactly how the outcome should look. It will need to run on a loop until there are no more values found in Column A on sheet 1.

My Workbook contains 2 Worksheets, both with the same headings in row 1. Sheet2 is initially empty, except for the headings in row 1.
The following is a sample of the data in Sheet1:

I want to create a Macro to operate as follows:
In the above sample data, rows 2, 4, and 8 are identical, so I want to copy rows 4 and 8 to Sheet2, and delete them from Sheet1.
Similarly:
Rows 3 and 9 are identical, so row 9 should move to Sheet2;
Rows 5 and 11 are identical, so row 11 should move to Sheet2.
Rows 6, 7, 10, and 12 are all unique, so should be unaffected by the Macro.
New records will be added to Sheet1 periodically, so the Macro will be used each time to move any newly discovered duplicates to Sheet2.
The Macro should make no assumption about how the rows are ordered, and should not change their order.
I have uploaded two Workbooks, such that Workbook1 shows the original data, and Workbook2 shows the result I want to obtain.

I would do countif, but I do not know my values (this is from a report that I ran from a database) and it would take too long to find all the individual values every time I needed to run this report. So this is what I am looking for (a graph would work too).

Reason for posting: I've been trying to do this with vba but sheet formula will probably work, I can always Copy/Paste Special/Values to clear the formula. Keyword searching has resulted in no progress.
I'm trying to create a macro that when run, scans Row 12 (only after column E), Finds the first empty cell, then inserts the cell value from Sheet4 CellE8. Then the hard bit begins. I need it to insert cell info in all the cells below it, from different locations...
For example

In the above sheet, I need it to go to cell D2 and insert the values from Sheet4 CellE8, Then proceed to D3 and insert data from Sheet3 D4, then to cell D5 and insert data from Sheet1 A7, etc etc
I dont mind doing each cell individually, but they will always be in the same column (and row 2 "Value" will always be the one that determines the next empty column).
Im going to try to make this as clear as possible. I cant use my actual data because it wouldnt make any sense to anyone so Ive made up an example problem. Here goes...
Lets say in Sheet 1 I have two descending columns of data. Column A is MODEL of Vehicle (Civic for example). Column B is vehicle identification number (xxx for example). Sheet two has 4 columns of data, but only one is really required for this example. Cell A1 is the MAKE of vehicle (Honda for example). Directly below that in Cell A2 is the MODEL of the vehicle (Civic). There are then a few rows of empty space until it gets to the next vehicle MAKE and MODEL.
So in Sheet1 there is a long list of MAKE's in ColumnA and VIN's in ColumnB. Sheet2 Has a long list of MAKE's and MODEL's in ColumnA and random data in other columns.
What I want to do is assemble a Macro to start in Sheet1-A2, read the MODEL then copy the corresponding Vehicle Identification Number in B2. I then want it to go to Sheet2-A2 and start searching downward until it comes across a matching MODEL. Once it finds the match I want it to step downward 2 cells and paste the Vehicle Identification Number. Then return to Sheet1-A3, and repeat the process until EOF.
