How To Calculate Camp Meals Statement Based Only Daily Sheet

I have around 250 Employees Camp Meals Statements. Each day we prepare a Excell Sheet and enter the details file attached for easy reference Im manually calculating the Totals in each sheet if emp takes meals we marked as Y otherwise N based on that i want the total meals daily. One more thing Base on employeed code i want the monthly statement in another sheet same file attached..

I need some different columns within a row to calculate based on a statement found in an earlier column in the row. something similar to below. there will only be two statements total which are noted on the table below.

So basically If column A = disposition calculate D and E in column B but if Column A = Receipt calculate in column C

The formula for D and E is not exactly as shown just using that as a quick example. I'm using office 2010.

I am using the following formula to calculate due dates based on the rank i assign an issue.

Note: a similar formula is used for the due date of section one, but if it is not complete, i do not want this formula to kick in a determine the due date for section 2. The formula itself is working fine, but is giving a 'due date' of 1/30/1900. I was wondering if there is a way to not display anything if it has no number to calculate from.

I am putting together a procedure to calculate a value based on all of the active cells in column "A" and a couple other conditions. "k" is my variable to put a value into (k,8) until all the active cells in column A have a corresponding value in (k,8)

I have my scenarios all built out into If statements and the code runs....but no value is being added to cell (k,8) for any of the rows with entries in column "A" when the procedure is finished running. Depending on the values in (k,2) and (k,3) there are four different ways the value in (k,8) needs to calculate as I have built out below. Why my values aren't being added to (k,8)?

Some years ago I came across a formulae to calculate Daily Interest on a Building Society Savings account in the UK. I have used this since but find my calculations never work out the same as my BS, although to my advantage! It is =B3*B4/360*DAYS360(B5,B6,TRUE) Where:

B3=Capital B4=Interest Rate B5=Starting Date B6=Finishing Date

For some reason the formulae uses 360/year and not 365/year. Using both still gives wrong answer.

I'm working on a time series dataset with a time step of 15 minutes. I need to calculate daily average of the several variables. So let column "A" be the "date-time" column, let column "B" be the "variable column" and column "C" be the "average column", I need a function that calculated in C1 cell the average of B1 to B95 cells, in C2 cell the average of B96 to B190 cells, in C3 cell the average of B191 to B285 etc.

calculate overtime hours from daily time entries. Normal hours are 7.6 per day Time 1/2 is hours over 7.6 but no more than 2 hours Double Time is all hours over that.

I have the spreadsheet with the days of the week in one row and at the end I have 1 cell for Normal Hours, Time 1/2 and Double Time. I need a formula that will work out overtime off each day and add for all days of the week and enter data into one cell. So all normal hours are in Normal hours and Time 1/2 and Double time are automatically calculated once hours are put in per day manually.

I have a set of 7 years daily rainfall data. I need to calculate the daily average of rainfall from this 7 years data set. I don't wanted to calculate it by for example copying and pasting the first day rainfall of each year rainfall to a new sheet and average it for all the days. I need to calculate it all at a time.

I've set up a simple spreadsheet to keep track of my food expenses every month. The first column is for the date, the second is for the daily total expenses and then the next three columns are where I add the data which is then calculated into the daily total column.

I also have a total at the bottom for the entire month. Now what I want to do is I want to also have underneath the grand total, a cell which keeps track of my average daily expenses. Basically I want to divide the total expenses by the number of days which I've entered data. Now normally this would be fine but because I've applied the formula to all the cells in the expense column, it automatically lists every day as "0" rather than leaving it blank. So when it does the average calculation it's dividing my total by 30 days rather than by only the 7 days I have data for.

I currently have a profit/loss spreadsheet where I use a SUMIF to calculate daily gains/losses.

Basically, on the 'Daily Sheet' page when a sale is made I write it in a row. Each sale gets its own row. One of the column's has the date. (Column B) Column H has the respective gain or loss for that sale/purchase. B377 in this case contains the date 18-Nov. (B360 to B389 has Nov 1 through Nov 30) So this cell will calculate all the gains and losses in column H for each sale/purchase entry I have for that day. Some days I have 30 rows, others only 2 or 3, so this works great.

My problem now is that my rows have gotten much more complicated and detailed, and now I'd like to be able to only sum column H:H if it meets TWO criteria. (I'd like to add in Column C that specifies the type of sale or purchase being made, which is R, T or S for my purposes.) So I'd like to somehow write a sumif that only adds up the sales for 18-Nov AND sale type R.

I'm creating an log to track the total number of hours an employee works in one day and calculate regular and overtime hours worked based on the following criteria: overtime will be >8 hours in one day and >40 hours in one week.

Right now I have it 'mostly' figured out, but under certain conditions, it calculates more than 8 hours in one day for straight time. Is there a way to set a maximum value for the straight time cell and have the difference be added to the overtime cell?

I've daily data of a stock indices returns and I would like to calculate the monthly standard deviation. Currently, I'm using the following worksheet functions: =STDEVP(C2:C20)*SQRT(COUNT(C2:C20))

However, the range changes from month to month, which makes the process of calculating the monthly standard deviation to be quite tedious if I've about 10 years worth of data. I assume I could somehow substitute the range with a dynamic range, but I'm struggling to come up with the correct formulation that would do that.

I am trying to have a cell in sheet "Summary" count the number of cells in column DX of sheet "Analyses" that are greater than 0, provided that the value in column A of "Analyses" corresponds with the value in B8 of sheet "Summary."

(In "Analyses," there are 106 subjects, each taking up 64 rows. So, columns 1-64 correspond to Subject 1, columns 65-128 correspond to subject 2, etc. In column DX, each subject has 64 values that are either 0 or greater than 0. In "Summary," each subject has one row that summarizes the 64 trials. I want a single cell in the "Summary," sheet to reflect the number of times each subject produces a value greater than 0 in column DX of "Analyses.") I tried using this formula, but it did not work correctly:

(Summary!B8 = 1, so I am trying to calculate the number of values in DX that are greater than 0 only for subject 1.) When I press enter, this yields a value of 384. This is impossible, given that subject 1 only has 64 possibilities of yielding a value greater than 0. Subject 1 has 2 values in column DX that are greater than 0. I tried making this an array formula by pressing Shift+Ctrl+Enter, and that just gives me a #VALUE! error.

I am making a sheet to track the daily cycles of a machine. I need to get the information from the "meter reading" column to populate in the " cycles recorded" cell. I'm very new to this and need a formula to use to track the changes in column D on the attached sheet that will populate changes in cell D4.

This is updated daily and it shows patients that have been through the department, who, when and how long. This is then converted on sheet 2 and shows as:

My third sheet has a very similar layout to sheet 2 but is weekly, previously i have used the following to find a weekly total:

=SUM('sheet2'!B563:B567)

I now have well over 4000 rows and altering this sum to accommodate for each week is time consuming as sheet 2+ are updated to cover the following 6 months.

Is there a better formula or a way to use the current formula and drag it down to auto fill? Currently trying to auto fill does the following:

i have facing a big problem nowadays.problem is that, i have to regularly update manually(copy & paste) "oil filling", " stock" & "meter reading", coming from every day by the supervisors of our company for verious sites spreading accross the our state, nearly 1305 site. i have attached the master file(which should be updated) with the reports coming from the supervisors(Rosan & Jhon) in another sheets. the master file is same form as i given. is their any way of automatic update by any macro.

I am performing a given exercise every day in the month of march. I have the dates all lined up in my spreadsheet, with the sum at the bottom. What I want to do is have another cell that will give me my daily average of performance. For example today is the 2nd and I have performed this exercise 360 times, making my daily average 130 per day. If I performed 200 of the exercise tomorrow I would have a grand total of 560 repetitions making my daily average roughly 186 per day (the day, march 3 divided by the number of repetitions, 560) and so on and forth.

I need a formula that will automatically calculate that daily average as I progress with the month. But I want the calculation to stop at the end (i.e. I don't want it to continue as the year progresses, meaning the divisor keeps going throughout the rest of the year). Basically, I guess, I am looking to fill in the daily repetition and the divisor to increase each day as I do so. My average is to be displayed in cell B36, so today my formula should read (=2/B36) and on March 31st the formula would be (=31/B36).

I have the day of the week in B1 Emp Nbr in B2 Hours worked on B11

What I need a macro to do is match B1(day of the week) with the corresponding offset column in F1-R1, Pos and Post the Emp NBR(b2) and Hours(b12) in the corresponding column (F4 and G4)

I then will key in a new Emp and the hours and click the macro to execute the move over to the correct column and down one row.

Do this until I post Emp 999 at which time it will exit the macroOzgrid weekly hours.xlsx

The next day I will change the day in B1 to 2, corresponding to TUE, and it will move over to the correct column (H4 and I4) and post the daily data until I key in EMP 999

So, I'm trying to create a database, of sorts. I run several reports every morning that leave me with the information I need, but I would like to be able to store them in a master sheet, thus creating a database. That master sheet will be used by my co-workers and, at times, my customers or boss. Add in a few hundred new lines every day and it becomes a task in itself just to keep the spreadsheet up to date, manually. I'm only needing to do this now because the system I use now will be shut down starting next Monday. I (someone who has never had any formal excel training) have been tasked with creating a new way to track orders.

I can create a unique identifier tag for each line, but I don't know how to program or create a macro/equation to be able to filter and replace values in the tag's row, based solely on the tag. The combination of columns A&B in my test report will give me the unique tags. From there, I need columns E-L to be able to be updated from the new reports each morning.

If Sheet 2 contains a list of items that I have updated during the day and wish to place into the master sheet (Sheet1). I don't know the language needed to write the macro and any necessary equations.

My goal is to have my reports dump information into a master sheet, but only replacing/adding onto existing rows and columns that correspond with each other and creating new lines when no pair is found.

I've attached what my report should look like after I've filtered out the unneeded information. It will be this, every day, except with a few hundred more lines.

I need to set up a daily job sheet (like and invoice) for each date listed under Column B. For each day, I need to generate a daily job sheet showing all of that day's information. The location of the information is based on the value in Column C - Subcontractors's data go in one spot on the sheet and Labor costs go in another place.

I have one workbook where someone enters information on a daily basis and id like to sum this in another workbook weekly.

The daily sheet "sheet1" has headings in row 1 starting B1 = 11/02/2012 this is then dragged along till the end of the year. In B2 the user will enter a number so B1 - 11/02/2012 and B2 - 5

On the next "sheet2" in cell B1 i have the date 17/02/2012 and in B2 id like to sum the total from "sheet1" B2 - H2 which is in effect the range 11/02/2012 - 17/02/2012 then id like to be able to drag this formula along so it automatically sums the weekly totals based on the first sheet
