Pasting Values Below Target Cell

Objective:
* I want to copy a range that starts at 1 cell immediately to the right of AddressStart and extends for 100 cells wide
* I want to paste 10 rows of this information
* AddressStart will be a variable address such as B2, B10, B1000

Here is my current code (which fails on copy/paste):

Displaying Cell Values With Worksheet_Change By Value If Target Is In Certain Range

I have a spreadhseet where columns I and J (range from I6 to J300) serve as input cells, off to the right, 23 columns over in AF and AG respectively I have a hidden array formula (Index, match) calculating values based on input in either column I or J and several factors embedded in reference table in the same sheet. That works fine. I want cells in columns I and J to be interdependent, in other words, input in column I drives calculations in a hidden formula and I want the value of that calculaton to display in column J (in a adjacent cell input in I6 results in display in J6), but if I input value in J then this value will drive calculation in a hidden formula and display in I (let's say I is centimeters and J is inches). I have a code that works (I set it up as a try just for few rows) but only one code section at a time, not together. If I choose column I (#9) to go first in code, values update in J, but not the other way around, if I choose column J (#10) to go first in code, values update in I, but not the other way around. What am I doing wrong, I tried Target.address case, I tried Intersect ... is nothing then etc. They all work one at a time but not together. Here is the code as it stands now

Automatically Send Email Dependent On Target Values

I have emails automatically being sent based on what is entered in the attendance columns, but now I need emails being sent on what is entered in the comments columns. Because the target range changes, I do not know how to combine them.

Formula To Determine Required Values To Achieve Target Percentage?

Data is;

83300 - hypothetical number of times I have fired my gun at target.
43209 - hypothetical number of times I have scored bullseye.

So, my bullseye percentage = 43209/83300, or ~51.87%.

Need formula to determine how many more consecutive bullseyes I need to shoot, in order to achieve 70% ratio.

Since each shot from now on will be a bullseye, both values (hits & shots) will increment together.

So how can I get financial data from different cell each month from "b" into same cell in "a"? (so "A" # would be overwritten in same cell based on new # from "B". Sort And Group Names Then Sum Associated Numerical Values For Each Group - Sort Total

I have this massive spreadsheet, with the maximum rows excel will fit on one sheet. In the interest of simplicity, this is what the raw data looks like:

Last First Amount

Jones Jim $1000
Jung Joe $700
White Jon $100
Jones Jim $200
Jones Jan $300
Jung Joe $800
White Jon $200

What I want to do is automatically get excel to group all the same names together. Then I want it to sum all the values for each name, then order by largest total value for each person, then order that by name alphabetically. In other words, the above would look like this after the sort:

Last First Amount
Jung Joe $800
Jung Joe $700
Jones Jim $1000
Jones Jim $200
Jones Jan $300
White Jon $200
White Jon $100

Or, if necessary, there could be sum total rows under each name...although I don't have spare rows, so IDK. I could delete some rows if I had to, but would rather not.

Multiple Lookup Values Rows And Columns To Lookup Single Target Column On Right End?

I have a table of data (say Column1 to Column 5) with multiple rows.

Column 1 to 4 will have the lookup values in multiple rows and Column 5 data should be picked up using vlookup or other lookup function.

I managed to somehow bring all these lookup values in (Column 1 to 4) in a single column in another sheet. I am now trying to use some lookup or other functions to match this single column and pick column 5 data in original sheet. Result i am expecting is lookup value in first column and next to it column 5 value.

It is basically a lookup wherein lookup value is spread over multiple rows and columns and result column is fixed. I tried using vlookup, but lookup value column and column number had to change every time when i moved from column1 to 4.

Find Value Of Target On Same Row As Target

I am using a piece of track changes VBA code mentioned on this site, which among other things creates a new column that reports the number of any cell that has been changed (e.g., $K$32). What I would like to do is, next to that cell, report the title of the row in which that cell appears. In other words, if someone changes cell $K$32, for easier reference I'd like others to be able to see that this cell appears in a row titled "New Sales". I'll be happy to clarify with more specifics if need be.

Sort Numerically By The Values

I have 9 columns of data in C2-C10 that I can sort numerically by the values in C2. All the numeric values in C2 are also in C1 but C1 has additional numbers not in C2.
I want to sort C2-C10 such that each row in C2-C10 aligns with its respective value in C1.

e.g. If C1 contains 1,2,5,8,34,42,56 and C2 contains only 2,5,34,56 I want the row (of C2-C10) with C2=2 to align with the cell where C1=2. And where C2=34 I want the row (C2-C10) with C2=34 to align with the cell where C1=34.
Is this possible though i'm not sure my explanation of what I want to do is good enough!

Note that my dataset is going to be very large (500,000 rows).

Need code of function that can sort the values in a cell?

For example:

Cell A1 contains 67,87,1,45,109 (note the commas), is there a quick way to change this to 1 45 67 87 10?

This is only a snapshot of the data I'm working with, I have 400 cells each containing between 10 - 50 numbers.

What I'm doing so far is, for each cell:

Text to Columns
Side Ways Sort A-Z
Copy all values to notepad
Copy all values from notepad directly back into the cell

Is there a way in Excel to have a list of names with values automatically re-sort whenever any of the values change.

The default sort I have in mind is ascending by values.

eg.

CITY VALUE
Sydney 100
Boston 200
London 300
Moscow 400
Houston 500

The values change to:

Sydney 5000
Boston 250
London 8000
Moscow 300
Houston 50

I now want Houston 1st, Boston 2nd etc - automatically - without me having to do a sort again by Value.

I am keeping a spreadsheet for an auction

We have 20 people and each person gets a total bid for 48 items.

if person1 = 55,person2 = 100,person3 = 76,person4 = 67,person5 = 49 etc.

The person's names will be in column C while values in D in cell G3 will hold the total bid for the items each week updating.

What I am trying to do is sort the table (names & values) from cell G3.

So if each week G3 total gets bigger then the table sorts to match.

If the overall total bid after 48 weeks (G3) was 52 then the table sorts with 55 on top (because it's closer) 49 next.

The closer the person's bid to the total bid the further up the table the person will be.

Sort Columns With Multiple Values In Cells

My columns are labeled A B C D etc... If the product I am creating the table for falls into one of those categories I place a 1 in the cell. For instance, ProductA falls into the A and B categories, so column A will get a 1 and column B will get a 1. This is so I can sort all of category A's Products etc...

I am looking for a formula to put in a column that would Say what categories ProductA falls into. ie Since ProductA falls into the A and B catergories but not the C and D catergories, This final column would say something like AB, or A,B or something.

Alternatively, I could make a single column entiltled 'categories' and put something like 'A B' in ProductA's column. In this case I would need a way to sort all A's or sort all B's and not just sort all 'A B'

Only Sort Cells If Cell Values Are Greater Than 0?

I am working on a Golf League score sheet, and each week there may be a different amount of players that play. I have a weekly worksheet (attached) that contains the full list of golfers that had played that week and I only want to sort the columns for those golfers who have a score greater than 0 (this would be the ones who played that week). You can see that in week 1 I had more players than in week 2. So in my weekly worksheet I sort these sub grids by Score first. However I ONLY want to sort the rows that have a score greater than 0. Can this be done in VBA or am I stuck doing this manually every week?

Sort SCADA Data And Finding MAX And MIN Values?

I have a small challenge with the following parameter

2 columns of data, the first A contains sets of calendar dates:
A1 27-4-2013
A2 27-4-2013
A3 27-4-2013
A4 28-4-2013
A5 28-4-2013
Op to 5000 lines but normally around 140 of them for each date in April 2013
Colum B contains wind speed data from a met tower
B1 15.0
B2 5.3
B3 7.9
B4 3.2
B5 32.4

What I need to find are the Highest, Lowest and Average wind speed for a specific date.

I have a NOW -1 function in field C1 I would like to use as the parameter to search for in column A so I get the last full calendar days full data set (10min values), so writing it up it sounds something like this: Look in column A line 1:5000 and if you find any date the same as in C1 then move the content of B to a new separate column D line 1:140 and when all 140 lines are extracted for the specific date then find the Highest, Lowest and Average wind speed between those extracted data.

Slicer Hierarchy Value Sorting - Selected Values Won't Sort To Top

I have two slicers that are in a hierarchy. These are attached to a Pivot table whose data source is an OLAP cube. Every Partner Parent is part of a Partner Group:

My problem is that when I click SI Alliance in Partner Group, the Partner Parent slicer does not re-sort in any way. The corresponding selected Partner Parents are scattered throughout the alphabetical list. However, in a different document, I have slicers in a similar situation, except their Pivot table’s data source is a SQL Server database. When I click on a member of the higher up group (Accenture Global Client) the lower level group (Microsoft Account Name) sorts to show only the selected values at the top of the list:

This is with just one Accenture Global Client selected. Note how the selected Microsoft Account Names have moved to the top of the list - Accenture Slicers Selected.png

How I can configure my Partner Parent/Partner Group slicers to behave like these Accenture/Microsoft slicers? Is there something that I can change in Excel or in the OLAP cube to make this happen? I have already tried right-clicking the slicer and going to Slicer Settings. The settings on the Parent/Partner Group slicers mimic those of the Accenture/Microsoft slicers exactly.

I am trying to consolidate an .835 raw text file that is full of receipts and payments into rows by specific values/characters. Once opened within notepad/text format, I figured out that the ~CLP is the referencing value/character used to break up each individual payment.

I need to somehow use the ~CLP as the value(s) to sort the text into new rows, with each row pre-leading with the ~CLP.

For example:

~CLP*442.24*DTM*B6*PR~CLP*124.32...etc

New Row format needed:

~CLP*442.24*DTM*B6*PR
~CLP*124.32
