I would like to use IF function, to get the answer, if the mark is less than or equal to 20, the answer is AVERAGE, if the mark is between 21 and 25 the asnwer is GOOD, if the mark is between 26 and 30 the asnswe is VERY GOOD, if the mark is above 30 then the asnwer must be EXCELLENT.

If the answer is zero I would like to change it to -4 and then continue the process for more cells to read 16 ; 12 ; 8 ; 4 ; -4 ; -8 ; -16 etc.
Columns L, M and N are always fully populated.
Columns D, E and F may have some missing values, along with H, I and J.
Lets just concentrate on D.
I need to create a formula where I get the anser in C1 This is an average of L only where D has a value.
I have a table full of phone numbers and call durations.
In A2:A6160, I have 162 different phone numbers and in U2:U6160, I have the call durations for calls made to those numbers.
In a separate spreadsheet, I have each number listed in Column A and in Column D, I want to display the average call duration for each of the numbers.
I have done is created an Officer Evaluation Form in Word for my Police Chief and the Scores for the different observations are: N/A, 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. If for example there are 4 observations and one of the observations is "N/A" for not applicable or not observed and the rest are all 5's I want the formula to ignore the field(s) with the N/A and still come up with an average of 5. The way I have it set up now which is: =AVERAGE(KOW1,KOW2,KOW3,KOW4) it comes up with an average of 3 when I put a N/A in field KOW1 and all 5's in KOW2-KOW4.

in the "Order for EMS" and "Order for FEDEX" there have 1 product exist, now the customer need to type the country in the "F35", and the Price of weight will look back to the sheet "EMS Weight" and "FEDEX Weight" but for example, if i type Japan in both sheet, the EMS that one is correct 1kg to Japan is $168 but in FEDEX that one is not correct 1kg to Japan is $169 but now show $342, the formula in "G36" should be correct, what's wrong of my formula????

I am trying to create a column to match duplicate information, primarily numbers, so I can delete the duplicate information. Using the Find option is too time consuming. I am pasteing the new info above the previous weeks info. Some years ago I used a formula that would "Match" a range and I believe it would copy the duplicate in the empty column but it's been so long I am not certain nor do I remeber the formula. I've tried using the filter feature and looked at previous post but I am not familiar enough to know how to decipher the info given.

71449 is a constant number

I changed it to

but now it is not calculating the answer is coming as #value!.
Then I tried to add up by
=VLOOKUP($H$1,'[Diesel Statement.xlsx]Dec 12'!$C$2:$G$215,5,TRUE)
but it does not add all the entries only one entry is shown.
I want the total of the column G. looking up for values in C = H1 value

example:
C9 a number 4 then add 1 to it which makes it 2 now * it by D9 which is the number 384 and the answer is 768 now * that by K9 which is 6 and you get 4608 I'm getting 2310 using this formula... =IF( C9=0, 0, C9+1*D9)*K9.
Is there a way to have the answer to a formula display nothing if one of the cells have nothing. Example cell A3= A1*A2 ... it will naturally show 0.00 but even if both A1 and A2 are completely blank. Is it possible for A3 to show nothing if A1 or A2 or both contain nothing. I still want it to show 0.00 but only if that’s what is in the other cells.

D4 =L
These represent Accomodation,Groceries, and Liquor.
Starting at E12 I want a formula , to drag down the column, which will show either Accomodation, Groceries or Liquor depending on the letter I put in cell D12,
Eventually I will possibly need help to summarise these costs on another sheet with other data such as fuel costs and fuel analysis but this will get me started.
I'm using the formula =AVERAGE(B16:L16) to give me the average.
However I have a couple of problems with this. Firstly I would like to exclude the value zero from the average. Secondly to also ignore the lowest and highest values.
Example, if the values in the cells are 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 then the current result shows 5, by ignoring the 0 and lowest value 1 and highest value 10 the average should be 4.5.
I am trying to set a scorecard up where it will give points depending on the % actual. For example:
if less than 60%, then 0,
if equal to or greater than 60% but less than 75%, then 1
if equal to greater than 75% but less than 80%, then 2 and so on.
I have been playing around with the example below, but can't seem to get it working.

Is it possible to do an IF formula based around a value it does not equal?
eg I have one column, that is perforning a SUMIF providing that a certain cell is equal to a particular constant.
=IF([cell]=[value],SUMIF([range],[criteria],[sum_range]))
In the next column I want to do it the other way round so that:
=IF([cell] DOESNOT=[value],SUMIF([range],[criteria],[sum_range]))
Is it just a simple symbol??
I have a simple formula which subtracts one cell from another. I then have an if and statement which checks if that cell is equal to zero. If so, continue processing.
The problem is that the formula always reads the cell as not equal to zero although the result of the formula contained in the cell does result in zero.

Pe=even money probability (placed in column B1 in Excel)
EP=expected profit if deal closes (placed in column B2 in Excel)

I have two date columns, a start date and end date. Another columns tells me the number of days between these two columns. It may return 45 days which actually straddle 3 different months.
My aim is to identify between this date range how many days in Apr 14. Then in the next column howmany days in May 14 etc
So on the spreadsheet Id have 12 columns for each month of the year. in Apr 14 for each row between the given date range I want it to tell me how many days are actually in April. Id then copy that formula into the May 14 column.
