this are function which button needs to be able to do after clicking on it.

• When the value of only one of Description or Unit/Price is entered, a warning message appears.

• When the message is confirmed, return to the entry status for the new data.

• When the values of both Description and Unit/Price are entered, save the values in the list of product (worksheet Product), and increase Product No. by 1 and erase values from NewProduct worksheet this is the screen how it should look but button which should be able to do all the thing above at once is called List Entry

after creating this function all the values from the table product need to be update into another table which sould look like that:

Is there anyone how could write code which will do thing above?

in the attachemnt is the excel file which shows what I have done so far, as i am not a good programmer,so I do not know if it's right

VBA Userform Entry To Loop And Clear Data?

I have a list of account entries on sheet1 that go from 1/1/2014 to 2/05/2014. I want a userform that prompts for a cutoff date, where I will enter 1/31/2014, and it will then clear all entries AFTER the date that I enter into the userform.

I will be doing this on a monthly basis, and the number of rows will change each month.

Is this possible to do using VBA?

I need a macro to take data from A2:F47 and clear this data. Then move it to A49:F235. I will be doing this several times and I want to save all of the data to A49:F235. I'm very new to Excel and VBA. I can move the data and clear it, but it writes over the data already there in A49:F235.

Clear Data Depending On User Input And Move Cells Forward Without Deleting Data Table

I have an month input in cells B2 (user can enter values from 1-5)

I then have a data table that has month 1,2,3,4,5 running across range G9:K9. the data is held in range G10:K19.

So if user types in 4 in B2, what should happen is that months 1,2,3 and 4 the data for these months should be cleared and data in month 5 moves forward into month 1.

So basically, anything left of the month entered is B2 should be cleared and replaced with anything right of the month in B2.

Cursor Not Move To Next Field After Data Entry

I have written code for a userform, and after I enter in valid data, the cursor will not move on to then next field. I cannot even click on another field with my mouse. I changed some of the code around to add validation to it, and now I am unable to move on once a valid entry has been made. If the user enters in the value "9999" the userform works just fine, it only freezes when they attempt to enter in an employee number. I've tried a few different ways to resolve this, but nothing is working. This is the code I have written.

In the attachment you will see an example of what I am trying to accomplish. What I am trying to do is find VBA code that will move data by date from an (Entry) sheet to a (Historical) sheet. I want to enter a date in B3 on the (Entry) sheet. I then enter data into C3. What I would like to happen is when the data is entered into C3 the sheet goes and finds the same date that I entered in B3 and copies that data from C3 into Column E of the (Historical) sheet.

I've got a software test plan that has test cases w/ individual pull-downs to select result states (All individually color-coded thanks to a macro). If any state is selected other than "Pass" or "Untested", a text entry feild appears two rows beneath the test case for additional notes and information regarding what behavior occurred when the test was done.

I need a way to a.) Automatically select this text field once any state other than "Pass" or "Untested" is selected in the pull-down, and b.) Require text entry in the field before the user can proceed to the next test case. (ideally w/ accompanying custom error message describing what information is required.)

Check If Any Entry In List Older Than 7 Days - Delete Second Double Entry?

I am having a sheet where I keep track of when online surveys have been sent to users. The users enail address (column K) may be on the list for several times, but I need to make sure that there is at least a 7 days pause between sending the first mail and the second, depending on the visit date (column G).If there are less than 7 days between two entries with the same email address, the user is not qualified for taking another survey.

I was thinking to write an IF formula which returns either 1 or 0 and then let conditional formatting highlight and HIDE the row via a VBA loop.

Matching Data Entry To A Specific List

I have made a spreadhseet that track what games an official referees (sheet 1), what games they are touch judge 1 for (Sheet 2) and what games they are touch judge 2 for (sheet 3).

Sheet 4 then adds all these up for me and tells me as an good approximate estimate how much each official should get paid in way of expenses.

Simple enough so far.

I have a list of 3 letter codes on sheet 4 for each official that I put in the matrix of games. It's using these 3 letter codes that it adds it all up. This works fine

How can I get it to tell me if any 3 letter codes entered into the matrix (Sheet 1!D4:CD82) Do not match my list (Sheet 4!A5:A71). (an error detection system if you like).

To make it more interesting I would like it to ignore blank cells (games not played yet).

I'm not bad on excel formulas, but I can't get my head around how to do this.

I have is a list of data with headers

mold # casting date manufacturer condition

and have about 150 entries for each column.

What i want to do is to store data to the next available row in that list by entering "w x y z" in columns A1 B1 C1 D1.
Then when i have new data ww xx yy zz, i again want to enter it in columns A1 B1 C1 D1 and automatically have it stored beneath my last entry at the bottom of the original list.

User should be allowed to enter a value in column B as "yes" or "No" only when column A has a value "Submitted"

Now, the natural way to do this would be to build a pivottable and let users move the fields around, and this is how the thing has worked in previous iterations of the workbook. It seems now, hoever, that we're trying to cater for users for whom pivot tables are just a little too much and to summaries data based on listboxes etc.

What I'm interested in knowing is whether there are ways of interacting with PivotTables beyond the GETPIVOTDATA function - is there any way, for example, to select different field items to show based upon an input from elsewhere? How does one tell a pivottable what to do from outside the pivottable?

Trying to pull data from a list and if the cell above is empty then pull the data from the cell below and so on........

I have some code for it..but its just a little bit too long and I can't use it

This is what i have so far, trying to simplify it as its way to long to fit in a singel cell....i did think about breaking it down in to collums of either 8 or 6 and having it in chunks that way...but if i did that then i would still have to eventually use this forumla below as i don't really want huge gaps within the form i'm doing.

I have a row of dates in row 2 (all sequential, from Nov through to June next year)

I have a row of number entries in row 3 (to correspond with the date in row 2 it was entered on).

I want to be able to add a new entry (a number) into a text box, click a macro button, which makes the text box input be moved into the cell underneath todays date (so every day the cell will move one column along)

I've managed to make myself a textbox, and a macro button, but I'm stuck with how to make it all work.

Dropdown List That Auto Populates 2 Fields?

I am currently building a sheet that requires a drop down box that will auto-populate two separate fields. I have tried to the point of being suicidal to make this work but to no avail.

A detailed explanation:

The worksheet containing the drop down list and fields that need to auto-populate.

The raw data, located on a separate tab in the same workbook. (Note: there are over 1500 rows of data)

The drop down box will be in the "Description" column and will contain a list of services my company provides. Once selected it will auto-populate the "Rate" column and the "Item ID" column. The raw data that the list is pulling from is located on a separate tab.

I can make the list just fine, it's easy enough to just go to the Data Validation feature and point to where you want the list and where you want the data to come from, but getting the list to pull the data from different columns and go into the columns on the work sheet is apparently beyond my knowledge of excel. I figured it would just be a simple formula setup through the VLOOKUP formula wizard but I've tried it at least 20 different ways, all of which fail. I've tried HLOOKUP too but it also failed.

I am having trouble clearing a multiselect list box.

Currently have a user form with a list box that displays 200 records and allows users to select multiple entries, via checkbox, sometimes as many as 20 to 30 records. I would like to write some code that I can link to a command button that clears the list box and allows the user to start the selection process again without having to uncheck all the entries manually.

Create Auto Populated List Field Based Off Multiple Fields

I have two or more fields of data, where parts of them are auto populated based on inputs from elsewhere. That part i have working fine, however the problem arises in taking that information and displaying it as a Bill of Materials list on another tab in my excel file. I want to take the information, and only display it in the BOM tab if that piece of information is being used (ie item count field not being 0). I know how to do that part in a rather simple format, however i'd prefer to make it so that when i have the list, and a certain item isn't used then its not included in the BOM, and an empty space is not left behind. I would prefer this to be all be done automatically by a formula if possible instead of just having to resort to sorting the table every time the tool is being used.

Is this even possible in excel, A quick example doc is attached, shows 2 example fields. i'd like to take the information from those 2 fields. and somehow create a single list, with a single heading along the top, with all row containing a 0 "Unit Count" to be omitted entirely from the list, and not have a blank space where the item should be. Keep in mind these fields may be greater than 2, and may not be position one after the other in a strait down line.

Pivot Table Field List - Choose Multiple Fields At Same Time

In the "Pivot Table Field List" I have the option to "Choose fields to add to report". I have a large number of fields that I want to choose and "Add to Values" - so it is tedious to select each item individually.My question: Is there any possible way select multiple fields at the same time? e.g.

a "select all" option, orhighlighting a range of the available fields (either by dragging or holding the shift key)I've looked / tried above with no luck.

Any Excel Add-Ins out there that might address this? I'm fearing not since my searches have come up empty.
