I am searching a database for a particular date and want the data corresponding to that date to be populated into a userform. So in short I want the data to be displayed in the userform. I am looking for ideas on how to do this efficiently. I currently do it with a list box, but it is only able to display one column of information. I hope this is clear.
I have a spread sheet that has rows of information and once you click on the tally form button (top Left) you can search on the info and it will display in the list box once you click on a result. I have attached the spread sheet, with only 1 row as obviously I dont want to share work data on here.
My question is that, if I want to display a row in the form, I would like to be able to click on a certain cell (Incident # column), it would then recognise the row and display that row in the form.
At the moment I have a EVENT that will highlight a row if a cell is selected. Just thought I'd mention that in case it would interfere.

I have created a userform that allows input of information and then deposits the information on a specific sheet. I am looking for a way to have that information not only deposited on the specific sheet it is already set to but also to another sheet based on a selection made from a combo box.

I've been stuck with this issue for a few days now. I'm trying to populate another field with information already on the sheet. The data is demo data.
I've tried =VLOOKUP(C2,D55:E55,2,0) however it only returned 0
1. When text is entered into a specific cell in the Master Sheet a new Tab is created named after this text and a second string of text i.e the date.
2.At the same time as this TAB is created I would like only the rows with checkboxes ticked in the Master Sheet to be copied to the new TAB(Not the Checkboxes themselves) [possibly using TRUE/FALSE in "B" row].
3.I would like the formulas, formats of these checked rows to be copied too.
4. Additionally the first 12 rows(all headers) and the last row(subtotal row)should be copied too.
The idea of the Workbook is to have an overall options sheet that is customised on a per customer basis with a record saved on a new tab in the same workbook.
If I make a selection using a drop down, can I have it auto populate another cell with information associated only to the made selection? For instance, if I select January from drop down in A1, I want it to auto populate B1 with 100.

The main spreadsheet is titled "Main". I want 5 additional spreadsheets in the same workbook that are automatically pulling information from the "Main" spreadsheet, and populating the appropriate spreadsheet . For example...I have 500 entries of different companies in "Main". All of these companies are either categorized as "North, South, East, West, Offshore" in the Territory column. So, I would like my workbook to have 6 tabs...one "Main, North, South, East, West, Offshore." As of right now, I am Sorting the column, then copy and pasting into correct spreadsheet manually.

I'm having a bit of a block with an index/match formula that I am trying to create for the attached spreadsheet. i.e. I need to populate cell J3 with the info the corresponding letter contained in the table to the far left. The numbers of reference to match are the 'zones' in H3 and J2.

The data in the textbox (target) is the result of calculations in the userform code and is not gathered from or saved to a cell.
I want the textbox (output) to be populated at "Userform intialize" event.

I'm working on a sreadsheet for inserting and collating information for a fleet of vehicles. I have userforms for inserting various pieces of information when the vehicle is new or leaving the fleet.
I would like to use a userform for inserting weekly information. I know how to insert the basic information in columns but I'm stumped for working in rows and with inserting information at different times.
See attached for explanation of what I need. I basically need a user form to appear asking for an specific time and services provided and transfer this data into another sheet. In sheet 1 there will be several time codes in pink for each service provided.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have some textboxs and some comboboxs, on a user form I want them to populate according to the row the cell is selected on.
Example:
cell c15 is selected,
UserForm1 Textbox2 populates with value of A15
UserForm1 Textbox1 populates with value of D15
UserForm1 Combobox2 populates with value of F15
And is the user changes a value I need it to update the cell.
Userform1 is a basic search and find using the text the user enters in a text box, followed by 'ok' commandbutton.
If a matching cell is found in the worksheet, the row is selected and the second userform asks for text via textbox2. This text will be placed in the end column of that row (column L) that was found to have the text input in Userform 1.
What's important is that if on that row some text already exists in column L, that this appears in textbox2 allowing the user to modify it.

I would like to ask if there is a possible way for a Label to display information that are based on multiple textboxes? All the information are based on the textboxes and listboxes that are in the userform and will be displayed on the Label (label16)

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a userform that will be a 'work order' for repairs. The ladies in the office can fill out all the blanks that will be entered into the spreadsheet. Each time someone is done, it will plug the information on the next available row on the spreadsheet. Easy enough.
What I need is putting a 'work order number' on the form. I have put numbers (101, 102, 103...) in Column A on the spreadsheet. I would like the form to pull the next available number and put it at the top of the Userform. I want this number to be 'locked' in so the ladies can't change it.
My goal - when the ladies are filling out the form, they can see what 'work order number' has been assigned and can give this number to the maintenance.
When I put order number into "txtOrder" it finds that order and populates the labels in userform. But the problem is, it populates only first row with that order number. How to show all other rows with the same order number in userform labels?
For example : i want to find all rows with that order number and populate them into labels like that:
(Order number -123456) lbl1 = cellA1; lbl2 = cellA4; lbl3 = cellA3; lbl4 = cellA5; lbl5 = cellA10; lbl6 = cellA7

I am trying to populate (via VBA) a textbox/combo box from one user form to another user form.
The first user form has a room number in a text box1. If certain conditions exists, a button is selected to bring up another user form (both forms are modeless).
I want to pass/populate some of the 1st user Form info into the other user form.
I have tried the on initialize textbox1.value = textbox other.value but no dice. I can populate a user form text box from a spreadsheet but from box to box in separate user forms has me a little stumped.
I have a userform that pops up upon opening a file. The user form has
5 text boxes names Zero, Two, Four, Seven and Nine. I would like each of these text boxes to automatically populate with the values last used. The values last used are stored in Worksheet "Index Settings" in Cells "C3:C7".
I would like to populate the captions of checkboxes in a userform with the items listed in a drop down menu located in cell A1. Lets just say I don't know exactly how many items in the dropdown there will be, but I do have an estimate number. Maybe between 20 and 25.

In column AD I have a formula which produces a number when an item becomes due. I would then like label1 (lblReg1) to populate data from the same row in column A and label2 (lblDate1) from column S.
I then have a CheckBox (chk1) next to each pair of labels for the user to confirm the task has been actioned and when the CommandButton is clicked I would like the result placed in column AE in the corresponding row.
I have tried utilising code from another userform I have but I cant get it to work and I believe this is to do with the 'ActiveCell' reference as there is no Activecell (you can probably guess I am new to this). Example:

I've found a great userform on this site that allows you to populate a datasheet as well as delete or amend datasheets. It was by dodger7 within Database. Very useful. I've adapted this to my needs and it works great apart from i cant amend the userform that shows data when you select delete or amend. I've had a go but don't understand how i can create my own feilds and set it up in order. When i go in to the code i can veiw the delete and create/amend userforms but this is a search function relating to a reference number. Once you select Find it brings up another form and that is the one which i need to adapt to show my new feilds. I have attached the sheet so you can see my problem. I was wondering if anyone can advise as i love this userform/database method but can't complete the changes to my needs.

I'd like a calendar to popup so the user can just select a date with the click of the mouse which then resides in the textbox until sent to the sheet. I know how to get the calendar to pop up when entering directly into the sheet but I don't want the user to have to touch the sheet unless making amendments.

The issue is, if we change the data on the worksheet1, we have to open and close and open the UserForm to have the txtFields populated.
