Printing Groups Of Graphs From Dynamic Range

I have a spreadsheet which uses dynamic ranges to produce graphs for individuals which are selected using a scroll box. I can't figure out how to print multiple graphs at a time without selecting each individuals name and then printing the page which is time consuming, also it would be great if I could somehow get the individuals name highlighted in the list so whenthe page is printed you can see who's data it is.

I need to make a macro that creates a specified number of graphs depending on the file's number of data sets. I know the number of sets that are in the data, and I know the number of data points that were taken. Here is what I have:

Dynamic X Vs Y Graphs

I am making an excel program that performs a series of complex calculations then produces several charts of the output. I have the output in a table of a known lenght and width. The problem comes when attempting to create the graphs, I first delete all the old graphs and make new ones. Then I try to add the series to the graphs. I want the graph to be one column vs another column but I have only been able to get it to graph a column vs 1, 2, 3, ect.

how to set the x-axis source data for a given series.

Multiple Graphs On One Screen And Moving Graphs

i have attached a sheet where I have 4 graphs on one sheet. I prefer this to an overlay. I would like to add a 5th graph but it would make all the the graphs too small. Is there a way to make the graph background longer. For instance, extend the length of this so that I can put multiple graphs on it and then just scroll from top to bottom to review them? Also, how do I copy and paste these individual graphs into a newly created graph. copy/paste doesn't work on these?

I understand that you can do dynamic named ranges for graphs, using one named range for each series and another for the categories. However, the graph I'm working on will have a lot of series'. Is there a way to do this cleverly? I'm trying to avoid making a named range for each one.

Auto Updating Graphs To Not Include Full Range?

Have been trying to set a chart here to autoupdate which normally is fine to do. In this case however there are other columns in the data table that run down to Dec 2014. Even if i define my needed range, the graph will show the full timeframe (with lots of unneccessary space).

I've attached an example. Rate % is the column that will be updated monthly and I would like the graph to only increment along when a new figue is entered here. I've defined this range as 'Rate' within the sheet.

How To Name A Dynamic Range & Make A Validation List (of 2 Dynamic Ranges)

I have a range which will change in size & in content, & I want this to be a Named Range at whatever size it is.

Reason I want to is because I want to make a Validation List with this dynamic range. I also want a Validation list which lists the content of 2 or more dynamic ranges which may or may not be on the same worksheet - is this possible?

i.e.
First dynamic range: called "Milestones" at A11
Second dynamic range: called "Activities" at A25
& make a Validation list that will list content of both

Separating A Range Of Values Into Equal Sum Groups?

Is it possible to separate a range of cells with numerical values into "n" groups that have equal (or as close to equal as possible) total sums?

Ex. The range A1:A30 includes 30 random numbers between 1 and 12 (obviously there are duplicates). I need excel to auto-generate 6 groups of 5 cells each with each group having the same (again, as close as possible) total sum. Preferably, I'd like the numbers in each group to be similar from top to bottom, but I'm not overly concerned about that.

I have a workbook with data in it that I want to copy and put in another wookbook. The data looks like this.

How To Count Groups Of Cells In A Range Using Specific Criteria

I want to count the number of groups of 3 adjacent cells in a horizontal range (C5:EV5) in which any cell in the group of 3 has a value in it (as opposed to all the cells being blank or containing "0"). For example, if any or all of the cells in C5:E5 have a value in it, it would count as 1, and if any of the cells in the group F5:H5 have a value, it would also count as 1, and so on. Is there a way to use COUNTIF for this?

Loop To Calculate Rows In Selected Range In Groups Not All At Once

How do I divide a range (number of rows will vary) into groups for calculation purposes?

I have a spreadsheet with too many dependencies to calculate properly (over 400,000). After I calculate I can delete the empty rows, and then there will only be a few hundred rows left and it will calculate just fine.

I think all I need is a loop that will break the range into groups and calculate the groups separately, but I'm very bad at loops.

This is what I need to break into workable parts.

Printing Certain Rows In A Range From Several Worksheets

I have a workbook containing several sheets. New worksheets may be added. From each sheet, I would like to print the first row in range (AB1:AE200) along with any rows below the first that contains the value “Red” in column AB. From what I have been reading, it would seem that a temporary worksheet would be the answer using a copy/paste.

As each sheet would likely contain only three or four rows to then print, is there a way then to get all the data onto a single page, thereby preventing the need to print a single page for each sheet?

Automatically Set Print Range For Last Row Before Printing

I'd like to set the print range based on the last row with text in specific columns. I found a couple of macros in this forum to adapt, but neither are working. Extra rows, which only contain conditional formatting, and other excluded rows and columns still print.

Printing Multiple Workbooks With Printing Preference As Landscape

I would like to know if there is a way to print several different workbooks at once but keeping my printing format which I would like to be Landscape and Fit to one page. Reason is simple as I work in a office where staff is handed in several jobs to do everyday. They finish the jobs and log all the info on the database. I log on to database and put all their daily diaries and because it is all over the place I have to go in each file and set printing preferences which takes an hour in the morning and hour in the evening. I could do with some sort of automation where all diaries are automatically printed in Landscape and Fit on one page.

Printing / Not Printing Ranges Based On Cell Contents

I have a report that is generated from a manufacturing process that looks like the example below. the report is 40 pages long when all the data is printed. i am looking for a way to only print this range if a dimension is "out of tolerance". if the dimension is within tolerance, there is always the "garbage" text of plus and minus. if every row is "within tolerance" in the range the cells in the OutTol column would all contain the "garbage" text but it will not always be identical. so, in summary, actual OutTol values = print and all "garbage" = not printed.

I need to print to a printer that is not the default printer, a range of Cells e.g. B4:L28 on Sheet Print Out.

The code is to be added to a VBA routine that already exists that collects & arranges the data on the Print Out sheet from other sheets in the workbook. This routine is assigned to a button on another sheet.

I am trying to create a command button on a userform that when pressed will only display a specific worksheet of an excel workbook. I have the userform setup with the command buttons that will point to a specific worksheet but it is still behind the userform.

How can i make it so that when i hit the command button in the userform then print preview is shown for that worksheet, and the other worksheets are hidden. I also want to make it so that the workbook is hidden and all you see is the userform until you select a sheet.

I am trying to get to grips with the dynamic ranges for pivot tables. I have named a range data and in the refers to section put:

=OFFSET(Sheet2!A1,0,0,COUNTA(Sheet2!A:A),COUNTA(Sheet2!1:1))

I was hoping that then when i go to data > Pivot table and it asks for the range i could put =Data but it tells me that the range is invalid. I have attached a copy at the bottom.

I'm trying to write VBA that would:

1. Search a Workbook for Dynamic Ranges.

2. When a Dynamic Range is found the code would:

A. Determine the current coordinates for the range.
B. Change the "Refers To" value From "=OFFSET...." To "=Worksheet_Name $Column$Row:$Column$Row"

3. Save Changes.

4. Close File.

My apologies but I have very little experience in writing VBA. I understand about variables, arguments, and IF/THEN but just enough to use functions within Excel.

I have been working on part of the code for my spreadsheet and it works fine in the spreadsheet “Databaseform” however when I copied the code to my master spreadsheet “Paul_PartLocDBCombo” it does not work, I get the error:

Method ‘ range’ of object ‘_worksheet’ failed
The code is then highlighted in yellow, the code is:
Set rng = wksPartsData.Range("a1", Range("a65536").End(xlUp))

Meaning this part is incorrect but I don’t know why? To work it: go to Databaseform and press start. Enter 7mm in the product field and press find all. It will then return all the matching results in the userform. Its this I want to try and achieve on the other spreadsheet when the button find label is pressed.

I have this macro named ABC to bring the name ranges to another worksheet. The name ranges are already saved in the workbook with the below name range. I used "***" so that this formular can go to the last cell that has "***" on A column and it worked untill someone typed "(xxx)" and the range now stops right before the "(xxx)"

What would be the best to create the range according to the specific words in a column?

i want a dynamic range, so something that would look like this as an excel function:

i want the equivalent of this programmed (hard coded) into vba

i don't want to reference to a defined name with vba, because the user can delete that.

Sum Dynamic Range

I wonder if there is a way to Sum the total of a Dynamic Range so that the summary will be presented in the upper Cell of the summed column?

(please see the attached picture).

The reason is to anable FREEZING of the first row (display the totals all the time even when scrolling down) as the list will get very long after a while.

I am looking to sum a dynamic range and can't quite figure it out. The data expands down rows every week, and I want the sum formula (the final row) at the bottom to include the newly updated rows. I can't dynamically name the numbers to be summed because the dynamic named range will include the sum number and create a circular reference. For example:
