Pull Customer Names Who Placed Order In Jan-Aug But Not Sept

I have a spreadsheet with data of customer orders. I am looking for a way to pull the customers who have placed an order between January and August, but did NOT place an order in September (in order to reach out to those customers who have stopped ordering).
I can't post attachments for some reason, so this is a description of how the sheet looks.
Column:
A - Delivery Date (MM/DD/YYYY)
B - Month (MM) --> formula created to pull month from column A. For example 2/12/2013 returns "2"
C - First Name
D - Last Name
I need to find a way to create a list of customers, without duplicates, who placed an order previous to Sept, but not in Sept. So, pull unique names from column C and D that have an entry in column B of 1-8, but NOT 9.

I have a Purchase Order template that I created in Excel and an Excel Customer spreadsheet. I am trying to get the Customer Name, Address, City/State/Zip (all found in different columns on the customer spreadsheet) to autopopulate on the Purchase Order when the matching phone number is entered. New to advanced formulas but looking for something like: if the phone number on the purchase order equals the phone number on the customer database, bring over the Customer info above to the appropriate cells on the purchase order.

We've got a bug in our finance system where it can't handle any transactions that have sales but no related commission. The BI team provides a CSV file separately with this information and the sales team has to manually input it. I know how to create a template that can be uploaded into the system but don't know how to pull the data into the template from the CSV file.
I've created the attached example and what i'd like is a drop down box in cell B1 (template tab) listing all the customer codes in column B on the data tab and then based on your selection all the related transaction lines pull into columns A to F (starting on row 4).

I've had a search on here, but can't quite find what i'm looking for. I have a cover sheet with a drop down list which has customers in it. under it I have the customers address, phone etc. What I am trying to do is when I click on a particular customer, I want the address and phone numbers to all fill in automatically. I have tried a few things, but to no avail.

I've got a list of donor names, names listed multipled times in Column A, each row with different donation data. For instance:
Sheet 1
A1 - Mary Jones, B1- Internet Donation
A2 - Mary Jones, B2 - Silent Auction Purchase
A3 - Mary Jones, B3 - Event Ticket Purchase
A4 - Gary Jones, B4 - Foundation Grant
A5 - Gary Jones, B5 - Internet Donation
A6 - Sara Parker, B6 - Event Ticket Purchase
I want Excel to compare rows A1 and A2, and if the name has not changed, enter the donation data from Column B into another sheet that will just list that person's name once:
Sheet 2
A1 - Mary Jones, B1- Donation1, C1 -Donation2, D1 - Donation3
A2 - Gary Jones, B2 - Donation1, C2 - Donation2, D1 - Donation3 (which would return no value because there the name changes
Does this involve IF, MATCH or VLOOKUP formulas?

In the above pic I need a formula that goes down column B, looks at column A, picks out all the different numbers from column A, orders them lowest to highest and separates them with a comma. The words in column A of course are ignored.

I'm looking to pull names from a database to a particular sheet based on what info is displayed in the database. I have six names listed in the database with a league type and position. I have three different tabs at the bottom for where the info is supposed to pull depending on the player type.
For example, I want all six players to pull to the 'Mixed' tab and populate the appropriate area based on their position. Next I'd like the 3 players with 'AL' for their league type to populate only on the AL tab and likewise for the players with 'NL' for the NL tab. Not only do I need the players to pull to the appropriate tab but i also want them to populate in the right position within that tab.

I have successfully loaded a combo box lookup in one cell referencing a column in another worksheet. While the drop down is pulling in all the names listed, there are duplicates in the data set. I want the drop down to only pull unique names. Is there a way I can do this and still use the combo box feature.

Essentially I have a sheet of names. This is just my master database. Other sheets get names from this sheet. The names are alphabetized. When I add a new name, the names are resorted on other sheets, but the data assocaiated with those names does not move.
Example:
Sheet1:
Jane Doe
John Doe
Add
Jimmy Doe
Therefore:..............

I Have A List That Is Generated From Another Program Dump Info Into Excell.
This List Has Names In One Colun And Corresponding Values In The Next Column. My Goal: Get The Name And Values To Be Listed In A Specific Order To Be Copied To Another Workbook. Issue: All The Names Do Not Always Get Sent From Original Program. Example:

I just started playing with creating my own macros. I've written a macro to pull all the names of the worksheets in a workbook, now what I want to do is write a piece of code that will pull data from a cell in those worksheets.
So for instance I have all my worksheet names in cell A1 to A10, I want to pull the data from cell E1 from every worksheet in A1 to A10. Can someone help me with a sample code to work with. I'm still reading Power Progamming haven't gotten so far yet.

Spreadsheet consists of the following:
Worksheet 1
B10 : B49 = Names
AO10 : AO49 = Amount
Worksheet 2
I want it list the Names only from highest to the lowest from worksheet 1. If two Names have the same total then I want it in Alphabetical order towards who will be listed first.
Example:

B12 george AO12 16

I would like to find a formula that produces Names and $values in ascending order.
Example :-
Cell a1 =John Cell b1 = $70
a2 = Bill b2 = $100
a3 = Jane b3 = $25
a4 = Frank b4 = $10
a5 = Mary b5 = $60

ANSWER to be

I'm fairly new to using excel and have been trying to create a simple spreadsheet that keeps track of scores and automatically displays the names of the players in descending order. Anyway I have gotten to the point of using hookup to match a value and return that players name. But when two players have the same score it will only return the first found value. I sort the number scores using a LARGE function and it works great. Then I use something like this =HLOOKUP(Y2,B27:K28,2,FALSE) to match that value with the players name. How to return the other players name when the scores are the same?

I have a list of Spid numbers and a service category identifying if it is a Water Spid or a Waste spid.
The Spid is split into 2 parts. The Core is the identifier and the Category states if it is a Water or a Waste spid.
If the 1st digit in the Category is a 1 = Water.
If the 1st digit in the Category is a 2 = Waste.
There may only be a water spid or a property may have a water and waste spid.
What I want to do is have the information on 1 row rather than 2 rows
I have data in this format
SPID
Core
Category
Service Category

[code].....
and I need to convert it into this format.
Core spid
Water
Waste

I have tried IF(lookup) and it works for the 1st row but I can't get it to look at the 2nd row.My data consists of 400,000 plus rows

I need to look up the name in E2 in the list in column A and if it matches then lookup name in F2 in list column b, if it matches then the corresponding number in column C is displayed in column G. If neither names are in the 2 columns the words"Not on lists" is displayed in cell in column G.
The other problem is one name is spelled two different ways I want it to look for both spelling before moving on to looking up the second name.
I started with this formula but I'm getting #N/A or "not on list" when they are on the list. I'm using ranges prod_sum is columns AthruC, Last_name is range BthruC. =IF(AND(VLOOKUP(F4,prod_sum,3,0),VLOOKUP(I4,last_name,2,0)),"not on list")

I looked at threads realted to printing but wasn ot able to find something similar to what I need. So here is my problem:
I have a file with more than 100 worksheets (each sheet contains the invoice for one store). I would like to create a macro that would enable me to determine the order in which worksheets would be printed. How to do it?
Idea #1: the printing order would be based on the value in cell L1 that would contain the route number for each store. Stores belonging to the same delivery route will have the same value in L1. So, the macro should first print all sheets with 1 in cell L1, then print all sheets with 2 in cell L1 and so on...
Idea #2: Creating a separate data sheet with the list of all stores and their corresponding route number. Let's say info is contained in range A1:B150, where Column A contains the name of the stores and column B contains the route numbers. The macro then should look at that list to determine the printing order of the subsequent worksheets (the name of the store in column A would be the same as the name of the worksheet corresponding to that store).
Idea #3: sorting my 150 worksheets manually. It does not solve my problem fully, though, because stores do not always belong to the same route. So the manual sorting should be carried out daily and would not save time at all.

I have two worksheets, one with "supplier names", "order numbers" and "delay in days" as columns. The other one with "supplier names" and "average delays" as columns.
It is the column "average delays" that I have issues with, I need Excel to search the "supplier names" column in the "delays" sheet and identify every specific supplier name, connect the delay in days for that order and calculate the average delay in the right cell of the column "average delays" in the sheet "delay statistics".
I have tried the help files and to search this forum but I have found nothing. I have also with my knowledge tried a few different ways using the IF function but nothing so far.
This is something I started doing but it is of course far away from any truth.
=IF(;Delays!B1:B200="Greber")..............
This is the "delays" sheet where I want to find my info. Nothing in the delay column stands for "no delay"...Kinda obvious but you know... So even the "nothing" needs to be included in the calculation..

I need a way to re-order an excel worksheets columns based on another worksheet.
Data is extracted from a database into excel however users can configure the columns in the initial system. to how they like This causes problems when the data is copied into an excel spreadsheet I have created as the data copied will not be in the same column order as is required.
How can i reorder the columns without physically having to cut and paste the columns to match?
I have attached a sample spreadsheet.
You will see on the spreadsheet that 'fixed columns' is the order that i require the data however 'variable columns' is not in the same order.

I have a list of data in which it will ALWAYS have the following set up:
S-CustomerName-####
"S-" and "-####" will always remain the same - however, the customer name may be 2 digits or 20 digits - or anything inbetween.

I have data for customers and the amounts they have paid.
In the amounts column i have figures and word.
What i wish to do is exclude/ filter from the list customers which only say large in the amount column.
However the problem i have is some customer which also have figures which i do not wish to exclude.
So basically i what to look down the whole list of customers for j blogg ( example) and see in the corresponding amount column. if it says large on every
amount line then i want to exclude them from the list.

i have 2 dilemmas
**dilemma 1**
i have a date of purchase in column A
i have a customer number in column B
now if i want to search for a date and for it to display the results from columns C,D,E and F (purchased items) i know i use HLOOKUP
but how would i look for a customer and a date at the same time.
**dilemma 2**
i want to be able to put in a customer number and excel to tell me all the dates they purchased items.
currently i use

and i change the ROWS($1:1) to ROWS($1:2) or ROWS($1:3) etc
to bring in that result, but i want it to bring in unique dates, as a customer might ring us back with another purchase on the same date and i dont want it to duplicate the date.
