Is there any way to prevent the workbook from becoming visible at all until I want it to?

Mar 22, 2006i have written so code that opens a spreadsheet and runs some macro from the new speadsheet and copys info over to the other spreed sheet i have Application.ScreenUpdating = FALSE at the begininnig and turn it back on at the end but it still making the screen show everything can anyone help.

i thought the 'application.displayalerts = false' would stop the pop up box that says something like ' this webquery returned no data,blah, blah' but it does not. trouble is it freezes the sheet until i click ok, but i want to be able to leave unattended. i have posted this before, but not with this code.

Mar 5, 2010I have a userform with 10 textboxes which will all contain a time in HH:MM format. Could I have the userform to fill the textboxes with a default value once a time has been entered into textbox1. I would like the default value to be the time from the previous textbox plus 30 mins.
eg. So if I enter 14:00 into textbox1 I would like textbox2 to display 14:30, textbox3 to display 15:00.
If this is possible, could I add a Listbox with the options 1 to 10. Then would I be able to only uses the textboxes based on the number selected in the listbox. So if I selected 2 then just Textbox1 and Textbox2 would have values in them. For 8 being selected then Textboxes 1 through to 8 would be filled.

Jan 11, 2009i need to work out a formula for my spreadsheet which I use to work out cutting lists for timber frames. I need it to work out if the width of a job is for eg 2400mm i need to work out how many timber studs I need so the space between each stud is between 400mm and 500mm and this will need to work for a range of different sizes of frames. I have it written at the moment and it just devides the width by 400 and gives me a amount of studs but it would work much better if it could space them between 400 & 500.

Apr 16, 2014Every time i do a filter and copy a data. Keep the filter on and past in another column. The data does not copy just into the visible cells. It pretend the filter is not there.
I have tried selecting only vible cells when copying and pasting into cells by selecting only visible cells but does not seem to work. Get the error message "command cannot be used on multiple section". There must be a solution but looked on the web and really cannot find one.
Table below so i filter out the "a" so i just have numbers then want to past into vible cells.

The T5, S5 and R5 are (I thought) the "False" value which would be returned, but all I am getting (if for example T5 was blank) is #Value

Nov 16, 2011The user has a workbook that opens external workbooks, one being a Guard CheckSheet which the operators have to fill out every morning shift.
What currently happens is when they fill out their checks it close the workbook and sets a togglebutton back in the main workbook to true (puts a tick in the box).
This part works fine, but i need the box to clear (set to false) every day at 6am.
I have timers setup that work if i run through the code, but when i check the next day, the tick is still in the box.
Im not sure if its because the workbook is inactive for so long because the operators mainly have their timesheet workbook open for the majority of their shift?
Im currently playing around with having it clear based on the time of day when then Window_Activates or DeActivates, but that relys on them actually changing windows at that exact time or within a certain time frame.
