Code To Move Data From One Column To Another?
Oct 12, 2011coding that will select whatever data is entered in say Coulmn D & then copy it to the botom of another list in Column F.
The amount of rows with data in any of the colums may vary.

i get to select ones those are visible but i am not sure how i can PASTE them to rows visible under column f1020 to f1025
Tried this in a frantic effort
Selection.SpecialCells(xlCellTypeVisible).PasteSpecial xlValues
But got an error for " multiple selection"
Macro To Move Visible Cells After Subtotaling
Apr 13, 2008I'm working with a large master list of part numbers, and matching data to these numbers from a varying data table via vlookup. I have to vlookup to the actual part number, (13,000 numbers), then subtotal the data based on the "Rollup" part number. (eg: Two different old PNs have now "rolled up" into a single part number. I am pulling sales data from all of the old numbers, and subtotaling the sales to the new number.) Too much information.
Here's my issue. After subtotaling on the rollup number, I want to copy and paste ONLY the rollup numbers and associated data to a different sheet. This should be easily accomplished by going to level 2 of the subtotals page, hiding all the old PNs and their data, selecting the remaining visible cells, then "Go To", "Special", "Visible cells". Normally, you could copy only the visible cells, and paste them wherever you want. But because of the total length of the subtotaled worksheet, (nearly 25,000 rows), I get the error message, "Micrsoft Excel cannot create or use the data range reference because it is too complex."
You can overcome this by selecting smaller ranges of data, and copying and pasting a little at a time, but since the "visible rows" will vary, I can't figure a way to incorporate this into a macro. I've tried setting specific ranges in the macro, and copying and pasting fewer cell at a time, but if the range named in the macro is a hidden cell, the macro won't select any of them.
Here's an example of what I've got so far. I realize it's not the most efficient code, but I'm working with limited knowledge and ability.

What i mean is, that i found the sum of the visible cell only or the sum of a condition

I hide some rows using a vba code and i want to sum what is left under condition
I have 5 columns , the 2 have the interest.
The column e5:e5000 have values
The column f5:f5000 have specific text --> ("On","Off","Other")
I want ,using VBA, to know, its time i run my the code, the sum of the visble cells under the "On","Off","Other" condition in 3 cells
eg. E1 will have the sum of the "On"
F1 will have the sum of the "Off"
G1 will have the sum of the "Other"
Print Only Visible Sheets To PDF Code?

GIF Not Visible On UserForm While Code Runs
Aug 8, 2006I have some code to put a GIF animation into a web browser on a userform. This works fine - on its own. However, once the GIF has loaded I want to run a whole bunch of code in the background. If I run the code all at once, the userform appears but the picture doest show - but when I place a breakpoint between loading the userform and the main sub routine of my code - the GIF loads and the animation is shown all the time my code is running in the backgorund.

Order Of Executed Code - Synching Sounds With Making Shapes Visible
Jul 8, 2014I was working on a presentation for work where I wanted to build a 'Family Feud' type board to play a game. In the board I am using activex text boxes with code that would hide the text box to reveal the answer underneath or it would show a custom shape (an X in a box) and play the buzzer sound. The code is pretty simple, first I would make the shape visible, then I would play the sound then the shape would be made invisible. If I step through the macro everything works fine, but when I run the macro, you never see the shape. It's almost as if the sound plays before the shape shows up and then it is made invisible again. I tried putting a wait and a sleep command between making the shape visible and playing the sound but that made no difference. If I remove the code to hide the shape at the end and run the macro, the sound plays and then the shape appears. Is there anyway to have the shape appear prior to or at the same time as the sound plays?

However, not to be too mean to 15 year olds, many of my students can be devious little feckers, and I want to hide and password protect the VBA code so that they can't just change the pictures visible section to true. I can password protect the workbook and worksheet, but not the VBA.
I'm entering the Visual Basic editor and I can see my simple script. I then click Tools - VBproject properties - protection. I'm clicking the "Lock Project for Viewing" box then filling in the password and confirming the password and clicking OK. But I can still see and edit my script, despite protecting the sheet and workbook.

Half Of Chart Column Is Not Visible

VBA Code To Move Row From One Worksheet To Another
Mar 28, 2014I created a outstanding task worksheet in excel and I would like to move the completed jobs from this sheet to the second worksheet titled 'Completed Tasks'. The first worksheet is called 'Outstanding Tasks'.
I came up with a code to do this (see below). As you can see when I type "Y" into column G it moves the row into the second worksheet. It does this; however it puts it to the bottom of the table on the second worksheet where I would like it to be at the top. I also would like it to delete the row once it has moved it does this but then deletes the other row of information above it leaving blank rows on either side.
I simply want a code that moves the row of information to the second worksheet when I type Y into column G and then delete the row without messing with other information around it.

VBA Code To Move Or Copy Data
May 8, 2009I would like to copy or move data from one worksheet to another automatically. I have one sheet (Data) with multiple pieces of data for specific individuals. I have several other sheets titled their last name. Can data for example from John Doe be copied to the sheet Doe and data for John Smith be copied to sheet Smith. In essence I would like the sheet to paste everything below John Doe to Doe's sheet and recognize the next name and past that into the next sheet and so on. It may be several different codes, Im ok with that.
One other item all cells do not have data I do need the blank cells copied as well at to not lose the formatting. There is also a blank 2 rows between each person.
If you need a copy of what the data looks like I can send it.
