Compare The Pts Values And Then List The Team Standings Based On Those Points

I have a list of nine teams from B13:B21 with Wins in column C, Losses in Column D, Ties in Column E. Pts are in Column F (all of these run row 13 down to 21). The team listed in B13 has a cell name of One in the Name Box, team in B14 has a cell name of Two, etc up to Nine.
The pts total for each team is also named, so F13 is called ptsone and has a current value of 8. F14 is called ptstwo and has a value of 10, etc.
I'm trying to do is in a different area of the spreadsheet put a formula that will compare the pts values and then list the team standings based on those points.

In sheet1, I have the borrowers and outstanding per employee. In the Area Avg sheet, I have the average borrowers and outstanding in each area as this is the standard for comparison (I got this through the subtotal function).
Now what I have to do is in sheet1, format(change the color) each cell under borrowers which is greater than the average of the relevant area. Since, (in my actual data) the name of the area may be duplicate in different regions, the reference value (average borrowers of the area) from "Area Avg" sheet has to be traced through multiple criteria which are: Division, Region and Area. The same also has to be done for outstanding but the solution can be provided for borrowers only.

I am trying to collect data from a darts team and these values reflect
the number of points won in a team game (ranging from 0 - 3). This will

I need a code to look for the same numerical value on Sheet1. The same value will be found only once in 5 different columns: R,AA,AJ,AS,BB. if all at least 2 columns or all 5 columns have same value, (example for value of 1, found in column R) the value for the cell offset,4 to the left of the column will display on Sheet2 where the corresponding (example for value of 1) will be found
in column A.
Therefore, offset cells' value for R will display in Column C for the Row value 1 in Column A....

I have a spreadsheet which will have several rows of data.
What I need is for some code to locate the duplicate values in the left most active column and then look over the rows that they are populating and delete and cells that are not present in each of the rows pertaining to the duplicate value in 1st Column and if possible remove all the blanks.
I have a sample, I will attach it and explain alittle better there.

I want to compare 2 columns based on their positive and negative values..
For example,
A B C
ID1 91 -7
ID2 -7 74
ID3 -4 -5
ID4 90 4
ID5 -55 34
ID6 33 3
I want to know 1) which id's have both negative values in both columns B & C, 2) which id's have both positive values in both columns B & C, and which id's have opposite signs in both columns B & C.
I want to have a sum of each one of that..

I have a spreadsheet that tracks the score of youth soccer games. For the team standings, the teams get the following points per game based on final score.....
+6 points for a win
+1 point for a shutout
+x points goal differential no greater than 3 (so a 3-0 win would be 10 total points, as would a 4-0 or 5-0 win)
-1 point for goal differential greater than 5 (6-0 would be 9 pts, 7-0 would be 8 pts, etc)
+3 points for a tie
+0 for a loss
I've tried CSE, ARRAY, SUMIFS, OR, IF and nothing works.

The function below should return the value in a cell IF the string in the cell two cells to the left of it is "Nemo" Omitting the part highlighted in blue, my function returns a list of unique values...but when it's included, nothing is returned at all. Perhaps, there is an error in the syntax that I'm overlooking?

1. I would like to be able to select a month from a drop down ( cell C4), and for Column B ('Cumulative Performance') to reflect the sum for each name between Jan and the month selected.
2. In Column D I would like to rank the relative position of the sum total; such that if I selected 'Dec', John would display '13' in D7, Anne '3' etc.
3. In Column E I would like to show by way of a coloured arrow (or even a smilie icon) the relative change in ranking of the sum totals evaluated for my chosen month with those calculated up until the previous month (e.g. for Anne, if I select June, the Jan to June total is 36 (rank 2 in the June total's), the May to Jan total for Anne is 32 (rank 1), therefore her relative rank movement between the June and May cumulatives moves down and cell E8 would show a red-down arrow (amber horizontal for no change and green up-arrow for an improvement in rank).

Basically I have two sets of data. One will be new each week. I'd like to use the non-changing data as a base to compare new data to. The formula would need to match multiple values, including a 'time between', and then return whether a minimum rate has been met.

I'm trying to create a drop down list which returns values based on what has been selected in the previous drop down list in the adjacent cell, e.g. if 'Apples' is selected in the previous cell then you should only be able to select from 'Gala, Granny Smith', or if 'Oranges' is selected you should only be able to select 'Seville, Blood Orange'. Is there a formula which would do this, or can I use a pivot table somehow? I'm totally stumped.

I've been working on this chart for a while and can't seem to get my x and y axis as well as my series corrected. I have time and distance but since my distances are small I cant seem to make sense on how best to depict my data. Right now it is shown as data points but would love to show value.

Something has X views, 10,000 for this example. I want:
1) The first 100 views to be worth 3 points each (=300 points)
2) The second 100 views to be worth 2 points each (=200 points)
3) The third 100 views to be worth 1 point each (=100 points)
4) Any view therafter to be worth 0.75 of a point (in this case, 9,700 views times 0.75 = 7,275) points.
How would I create a formula like that (without having to actually divide up the views into four groups and do the separate calculations?)

I have x coordinates in column 1 with coresponding y coordinates in column 2. From my data of x,y coordinates I want to find points with similar y values. In my data I have defined groups of numbers, i.e. I have a set of numbers with y values around 30 (+-10), then a new group with y values around 60 (+-10), and so on... Sometimes the groups are not totaly separeted, there could be a few points with y values between 30 and 60. These points can be grouped with the closest group of coordinates (30 or 60). Each group of x,y coordinates could be copypasted in the columns to the right (columns 3 and up).
So what I want to do is find a group of coordinates. This group will have at least 40 individual points +-10 from a group mean. The coordinates need to be sorted out from the data and put in seperate columns.

I need a way to find a value in a column which has one or more corresponding values in an adjacent column. Then take all of the corresponding values found and count all occurrences of the found values in another column. But I only want to count the entries if an adjacent column is not blank.
Not the easiest thing to describe. Starting to wonder if I need to think in reverse. I hope the attached example makes more sense.

I have created a drop down list of various material sizes what I am needing to do is to select a material size from the drop down list and a corresponding value is input into the cell. So on say sheet two (Data Sheet) I have Cell A1 25x25 with Cell B1 100, Cell A2 30x30 with Cell B2 120 and so on. On sheet 1 Cell A1 has my drop down list being the material size ie 25x25, so what I need to happen is if I select 25x25 then Cell B1 is 100 or if I select 30x30 then cell B1 is 120.

Ok what I am trying to do is lookup a value in a table (kinda like one below but alot bigger). What I plan on doing is creating a drop down list for the rows that show "A, B, C etc) and then another drop down for (AA, BB, CC etc).
So lets say the 2 drop-down list are set to C and BB
I want to be able to fill another cell with the value -134
I would use If statements but like I said the table would be alot bigger than example. If possible I would rather not use VBA due to work security settings.

I am trying to create a Excel file for my job. I work in a warehouse where I have many different orders all of which are made up of various different numbers of items and priorities. For example:
Order 1 = 45 items, Priority 1
Order 2 = 78 items, Priority 1
Order 3 = 48 items, Priority 2
Order 4 = 34 items, Priority 3
The total number of items is divided by the number of staff to give each staff member a total for the evening.
I plan to have a list of these orders in the excel file.
What I would then like to do is to have each staff member allocated orders so that the their total is reached. The sheet would automatically allocate orders to each person from the list of orders so that based on priority first then by the largest number of items to the smallest.
I think this should be a fairly simple sheet to create and I have a view of creating an application for it if I can get it working.

I have 2 Fields (Columns) and I have implemented Validation Lists in both these 2 columns.
I have around 10 values in Column A which are available in the List and have around 50 values in Column B in the List.
In other words, one of the five values or items can be selected for a single and unique value in Column A.
is it possible to call one of these 5 values in Column B depending upon the selection of the value in Column A ? Both the columns have validation lists.

I have a client where I have agreed to a variable price per hour depending on how many hours is used.
So the first 40 hours of a month costs X USD
The next 40 hours of a month costs Y USD
The next 40 hours of a month costs Z USD
The next 40 hours of a month costs Q USD
And all hours above 160 in a month costs T USD
All hours are registered as decimal with 15 minutes as a minimum, so 0.25, 0.5, 0.75, 1, 1.25 etc.
Now the challenge for me is to set up a formula calculating the total cost based on how many hours is registered each month.
I.e. if I register 46 hours in one month the first 40 hours should be multiplied by X and the last 6 hours by Y. And if I register 173 the calculation looks like this:
40 * X
40 * Y
40 * Z
40 * Q
33 * T
And I can't figure out how to make the formula calculate based on what is between the various intervals.

I'm new to excel and was trying to make a workbook that will have a drop down list populate based on a user input in two separate cells. Basically, i have columns: name, pages, and books. I would like to have the drop down list match data by first finding the amount of books read, then finding the amount of pages read. Then any name that meets the criteria will be available in the drop down list. How can I do this?

I am trying to copy a spreadsheet i made in google docs in excel keeping the same functionality. Since the formulas are a bit different between the two, i can not simply copy the codes so i must start from scratch. The basics of my spreadsheet is that i have (3) columns: A master list, A filtered list, and an input list. I want the filtered list to change based on the values in the inputted list.
ColA = Input list
ColB = Filtered list
ColC = Master list
Items:
Orange
Red
Blue
Yellow
Green
ColA contains the colors i manually enter
ColB contains all the items in ColC that are NOT already listed in ColA (except for Red, i dont what that showing up)
ColC contains ALL the items above.
Two Examples of a functional worksheet:
ColA............ColB
Orange........Blue
Green..........Yellow
ColA........ColB
Orange....Blue
.............Yellow
.............Green
ColB is where the magic happens, it grows and shrinks based on the values in both the master list ColC and the input list ColA

I have a list box that separates values based on simple criteria. I have these sections separated by

My question is can you add the "----Cat 1----" into the listbox without being able to select it? Or is there another way to separate listbox entries?

Here below the case:

I would like to know if it is possible to have in a single cell the information about the presence of an error in the List1, because a cell of List1 got a value that is not in List2.
I mean all cells in List1 have to contains the same values of List2. It is like a data validation. But it would be nice to have a single cell with "There is an error in your range".

For all the AB's in column 1, I need a formula that will give me all the unique names from column 2, in this case 3. I've tried adapting:
=IF(LEN(June!D5:D100),SUMPRODUCT(1/COUNTIF(June!D5:D100,June!D5:D100)))
but haven't been able to get it to work.
