I am currently working on a data analysis project (data mining) and need to collect and later analyze statistics for the inputs which control a series of calculations. These statistics are shown in the Statistics 1, Statistics 2 and Statistics 3 cells in the workbook that I attached. The inputs are X,Y; all possible values for these inputs are listed in the N,O columns. Basically I need a macro which would take the values from these two columns and place them pair after pair into the controlling cells (K3, L3), then it would copy cells H2 through L3 (updated stats) to a new sheet after each copy operation - so that I will finally have a list of statistics for all of the input pairs.

For instance, in E17, I want the cell to reference cell H41 on sheet 2 and for F17 I want it to reference H42 on sheet 2, etc. However, using the formula =Sheet2!H41 when I cut and paste the formula it changes it to =Sheet2!I41 (ie it changes the column and keeps the row constant). I want to find a way to fill a large amount of cells this way and would prefer to not have to manually change each cell individually. I assume I would use the indirect( and the column( commands but can't seem to figure that one out.

So, on 'Master Sheet' I have a column called 'Date'.
I would like a formula, or macro, which does the following.
If date (column D) is over 2 weeks old (today's date - 14 days) then copy columns A, D, S and T to another work sheet called 'Not Attended' and paste them into columns A,B,C, and D.
In a worksheet I retrieve data from a SQL query. Now I have to add 5 different calculations per row and each calculation will be stored in a new cell (so 5 columns will be created)
I want to do this with a loop macro and calculate this till the last "filled" row. The number of rows differs every month.
What loop code should I use and can somebody give me an example of the VBA code.

I have attached an Excel workbook to try to help explain my problem. At the moment I am completing the following process manually but wonder if anyone knows of a way I can automate the process:
The data collected from the instrument are in columns A and B. I need to copy the data from A2:A99 (i.e. the highest angle to the lowest angle) into column G (starting in cell G9). Then copy the corresponding torque values in B2:B99 into column E (starting in E9). I then need to copy the next string of data from A100:A210 (i.e. lowest angle to the highest angle) into column AU (starting in cell AU9) and again copy the corresponding torque values in B100:B210 into column AS (starting in cell AS9).
I need to continue this process of copying the highest angle to lowest angle then lowest angle to highest angle and the corresponding torques from columns A and B respectively into the following columns.

To complicate things slightly I have many data sets that I need to do this with and need to be able to use the formula or macro to also process these, however the length of the string of data (i.e. the number of values between highest and lowest angles) is different for each string of data therefore it is not as straightforward as copying the same number of values each time, so the formula or macro needs to look for the highest angle then the lowest followed by the lowest angle then the highest.
I would be extremely grateful for any suggestions or help you may be able to provide as this could save me days of data processing.
If I just one number in each each (row 1-100) for example, but in different columns, is there a way I can copy all of these numbers so that they are all in the same column--that is, they would stay in the same row but now they would also be in the same column.

The script currently compares column C on the 'Source' sheet with column D on the 'Destination' sheet and where a match is found copy column G from the 'Source' sheet and pastes this to column O on the 'Destination' sheet.
I'd still like to copy and paste the same columns, but I'd like to compare two columns from each sheet, so from the 'Source' sheet compare columns C and E to columns D and J on the 'Destination' sheet.
I am trying create a macro that will create a new work sheet on an existing workbook. I have minimum experience writing a macro, but I do know how to effectively record one. The issue is, I need the macro to copy multiple columns down to the end of the data and pasting it into the new workbook at the end of the data already pasted-- rows of data are frequently added to the workbook.

I try to convert multiple datablocks to a new worksheet and make the adress blocks ready for further sorting and removing actions. The Excel I use is Dutch and i hope that i make my question clear. What I want:
copy each adressblock to another worksheet, put the initals as well as the beginning in a seperate column and delete the unnecessary comma's. Each adressblock is identified by a number in colom A. When a new number is shown, excel has to start a new line to fill. finally,if possible i like to extract the adress line into seperate colums of "street+numer", zip and place. I have some data from many csv files.
I would like to record/create a macros to open the file and paste 4 columns worth of data into another spreadsheet. Making sure the data is pasted in the correct column and doesn't overight data already in a tracker. Ie. paste it into the next available space.

I need a formula under desired result. I need to find Montreal in column B in Column G.
I also need it to find 451010 in Column C in Column H. Then I also need to find the Period P1, P2….P12 in column D in column I. Then the matching value in J should be inserted in column E. This is a large table and the values are in the right columns but they could be anywhere that is why I need a formula I can copy down.
What I am trying to do is to look at specific columns, then copy the data in that column from specific rows from sheet 1 (named TIA) to sheet Macro1. I think uploading a sample of the spreadsheet would be useful.
Unfortunately the spreadsheet is a living document and continues to grow in both column and rows.. The data extracted at this point is from row 7, 23-60 and copied into the new worksheet starting at A1.
Requirements:
1) Row 5 states the macro the column will be associated with. There can be more that one macro associated to a column.
2) When column is found, data from row 7 column (x) will be copied to sheet macro1 EX. If Cell G5 = macro1 then copy data from G7 to sheet macro1 at A1
3) When column is found, data from row 23 column (x) will be copied to sheet macro1
4) repeat requirement 3 till no more Scenario's
Been a while since I've worked with macros within excel and I can't seem to get what I remember being a basic macro to work whatsoever. I have 2 worksheets containing a massive amount of data and need to pull some cells from one into the other when values in 2 columns match.
To better explain, sheet1 has ID numbers in column G spanning for roughly 1700 rows. Sheet 2 has corresponding ID numbers in column EO. The data I need to copy over is in columns EP and EQ on sheet 2.
So I'm trying to build a macro to compare the values in Sheet1_Column_G to those on Sheet2_Column_EO and when a match is found, copy the value in EO and the adjacent entries in columns EP & EQ over into columns X, Y, and Z on sheet 1.
Couldn't get a VB function together to save my life so I tried working with MATCH & INDEX and didn't get very far either. I've included my current function below.

I am working on a project to automate the import of data and fixing the formatting.
The data contains the date in column A and time in column B. The time is in increments of 15 min for each day. The rest of the data is in columns C:F. Some of the dates don't have all of the times within the day (so instead of 96 rows of data per day, there maybe 80 rows). I have a second sheet of just dates and times that has the correct amount of rows for each day. What I need to do is have the rows data that matches in both the date and time column from sheet 1 copied over to the corresponding date and time on sheet 2. Blank data rows on sheet 2 are fine. I have found some stuff on .Find, but the stuff I found was for specific searches.

I have a spreadsheet with a heap of raw data in it. I need to perform a search based on a customer name, then return certain columns from the raw data IF the customer name is matched in one column, AND a special flag name is matched in a second column. The customer name is always a single entry for the purpose of the query, however the special flag must be checked against a possible list of values in a table. I want to track changes on "Last Performed" and "Performed By" and, if changed, copy both values to a separate "log" sheet. In total, there could be up to 10 routines for each peice of equipment. That means I would need to track 20 columns for changes. I would like this check to be done on save because that ensures that the user is satisfied with their changes and keeps the log from being flooded. And lastly, it needs stored in the log sheet in a way that I can identify which piece of equipment it was for and which routine was done.
I have multiple sheets Names(Sheet1-Sheet5).
Im trying to compile them all on the same sheet (Main Sheet). But each sheet is NOT the same. I need to choose what Columns needs to be copied (I can use one macro for each tab if needed)

I am a macro newbie and I think this is beyond me.
I've been trying all morning with no success to make a macro that will copy data from all columns of one workbook containing specified header text to a single column in a different workbook.
So for example, I've got a workbook called coupon barcodes that has multiple tabs for each person redeeming coupons on sheets 2-88 (sheet one can be skipped) and some of the columns are labeled "voucher 1" in cell A4 or B4 or C4 etc. with a list of all the coupon barcodes that customer redeemed below that. I want all of the data from all of the columns in this workbook that have the header "voucher 1" to be copied and pasted into one column (order doesn't matter) also labeled "voucher 1" in another workbook I have open called vouchering database.
There must be a way to do this that is easier than searching the internet all afternoon again
I have a workbook with four tabs or four sheets.
Tabs 1, 2 and 3 have a column of data (Column A) on each sheet. They all start from the same cell. Each cell of data are just numbers. The column (an array) of data will not have blanks between.
But, they are not the same number of data. They vary.
Meaning, Tab 1 may have 15 numbers (A1 to A15), Tab 2 may have 20 numbers (A1 to A20) and Tab 3 could have 5 numbers (A1 to A5). Each iteration of the workbook may have different number of data in the A column on these tabs.
Now on Tab 4, I want combine the data from all three tabs into one column (in column A).
So, Tab 4 has a column A with data from Tab 1 copy and pasted to (A1 to A15) as values, then (A16 to A35) have Tab 2 data copy pasted as values and (A36 to A40) have Tab 3 data copy pasted as values.
Basically, the macro on Tab 4 has to count the number of rows on each Tab that are populated with data values and figure out to copy all the data on Column A from each three tabs and paste the data value into the Tab 4 in one column of data (in values).
How to do this or if there's even a formula or even a macro i could run to run this data.
I have three rows of data (29-31) from columns D to Q.
I would like to take D29 and add each of the values in the adjacent columns exactly once and sum up the value D thru Q
For example I'd like to return not just Sum(D29:Q29) but also Sum(D29:R29)+Q30, Sum (D29:R29) +Q31.
I guess that might be considered a 1X3 matrix & and 8X3 matrix, but I'm not really sure how to set up the return values for these equations nor how to return them very quickly.
