Actually I want a macro which gives a message box "Duplicate values"
when there are duplicate values(i.e if one cell of the column has same value as that of the other cell) in a particular column suppose it to be A
I've been looking for a solution to highlight all duplicates within a certain column across all worksheets in the workbook as the entry is made, no button to search for them. I have found bits and pieces, but can't seem to stitch them together to create what I am looking for, still very green with vba.
My workbook is a loading schedule at a warehouse, so there is a tab for each day (the date being the tab name, ex. '12.04.13'.) Tabs are continually added and removed to progress the calendar, and minimize file size. The column I am searching for duplicates in, is column L (or 12, however you wish to identify it.) If a duplicate value is entered, I want at the very least to highlight the value just entered, and the value elsewhere on the workbook, and if possible, have a msg box pop up stating the location of the other duplicate (or at least the tab (date) the duplicate is on.) The message box is more so for an in your face error check, with a built in GPS. Would it also be possible to only search from row 2 to 100, and ignore any further rows on each sheet?
The point of this, is to locate duplicates to make sure an appt has not been double booked, and both entries can be located to verify which entry has the correct information (carrier, delivery appt, etc.)

How do you write an excel macro that looks at the number in the first column (day #) and finds all the duplicate id#s in the second column that are in day 1and adds the amounts together in the 3rd column then writes the first column number (day#), second column number(id#) and the third column (sum of the amounts of duplicate Id#) to an new worksheet. Then the macro would loop through day #2 and do the same thing. Notice that the values in the id column are unique in this data set below this is how I would like the data to look. I have accomplished this in a pivot table but my problem is I need a cvs file to export the final data into an external database which is why I need a macro.....
I am looking for some VBA code that will look through a column and delete all but the last duplicate value. The rows are not to be deleted. The duplicate also may not be consecutive (i.e they may appear in rows 2, 3 and 72 - the one in 72 would need keeping).
I did find the following macro which seemed to do the job until I realised it wasn't working if the values weren't consecutive.

The macro I have merges them into one row with a line break, but only the first column's unique value has been merged while the other columns containing their own unique values are duplicated when I want them to show up only once. Example: Jane Doe shows up 2 times on the report. Her name should only show up once on the row, not 2 times with a line break.
Here is the code. I have also attached an example of what I need. Because the attachment is a simpler version of the actual report, is it possible to specify which rows have the unique values and which ones don't?
In cell C34 I'm trying to duplicate the content in cell J70, but I don't want to show any content in C34 unless J70 is not blank.

I am using the following macro to insert the word "Duplicate" in the first blank column next to a duplicate row. My data is sorted by the first column. Data Example:

Here is the macro I am using and it does not work. It marks the first duplicate it finds then goes into an infinite loop. Any Idea where I went wrong?

I have some code but I still need to do a considerable amount of tweaking to it. Currently my code is only deleting the duplicate values in Col A. I am having difficulty summing the values in Col D as well as deleting the entire row.

I'm trying to rank the values in cells S32:S38 in ascending order while ignoring zeros and negative values. I also need to rank duplicate values with a unique ranking, so that no ranking value is repeated. I tried the formula below, but the ranking values start at "2" instead of "1" and I can't figure out how to fix it.

Im working on a workbook at the moment and would like to know if it is possible to display a text box if a field has a "True" value and in that text box have the details of the entire row that the true value is found.
Is it also possible to show the detail of multiple rows if more then one true value is found.
Is it possible to have a message box with two values? I've had a good look around but have drawn a blank so far. This works perfectly for the bank balance cell value:

I have a Macro (AutomateReport) that, among other things, calls and runs a macro (ReportStep1) in another workbook.
ReportStep1 includes three prompts asking the user to press "OK" to confirm that the data included is correct. When I call ReportStep1 as part of my larger macro I would like to suppress these prompts or automatically respond "OK" so that I don't have to be bothered with them.
SendKeys works sometimes, but I am hoping for a more reliable method.
I am trying to put a message box related to a cell if a threshold values is reached.

If cell A values moves to 86 I am trying to put in a message that says something like " This value is not allowed". Is there a way to do this ?

and would like to combine all of the duplicates from A1 into one field, with all of the options in B1 combined into one cell (separated by a |). So the above table would read:

I am currently busy with a material tracking sheet. The sheet tracks all the material from fabrication to being released from painters.
My problem is that in a summary sheet that I created, I used vlookup to get the exact value of the item number that was released.

I have a list of values (some are duplicates) which I need to rank.
The problem arises where I have more than one of any rank, the next rank skips a number. I need to have a list of sequential numbers and therefore can't have any numbers missing.
