the steps are below

0. Row 1 to 9 in Sheet mv2f will copy into Sheet2 row 1 to 9.

1.Base on data in Sheet1, firstly macro will delete the same datain column A then it will start to search for 04022RP in Sheet mv2f.

2. macro will then copy 14 rows and paste into Sheet2 starting in row10.

3. then looping to 2nd data which is 04024RP T0.55 in Sheet mv2f and repeat the step above.

i have been using a code that "Joe Was" wrote on this forum the code search all cells for a word i type and then copy the rows where the word was found into a new sheet. my problem is that the code overwrites the rows, so only one line is shown even when the result box say it finds 10 results.

Search Box To Copy Rows And Paste To Another Sheet

I am pulling from odbc into an excel sheet
Thier is one column with our Sales Order Numbers.

I would like to have a search box or box pop up asking a user to enter the Sales order number they need.
Once they do that it will search thru the list and copy the rows with that Sales Order Number, then paste them to another sheet.

I need help on setting the searching part up and selecting the range to copy....I think I can take it from thier after that.

Search For Strings And Copy All Rows To New Sheet

I am trying to find a function that will search for a particular name in a range and return ALL rows (or, preferably, specific cells in that row) which have that name in it, onto a new sheet.

eg. Sheet 1

Fred 45m $50 6/2
Joe 30m $35 5/28
Pete 60m $60 6/4
Fred 30m $30 6/6

If this range was on sheet 1, I would like to show on sheet 2 all times and dates for Fred in consecutive rows. ie the result on sheet 2 would be: Sheet 2

Fred 45m 6/2
Fred 45m 6/6

If selecting individual columns cannot be done, then the whole row would be fine.

Search Range And Copy Result Rows To New Sheet

I have a table in excel with a group of headings. (Serial Number, Model, Description, Repsonsible and a few others) What I would like to do is be able to search every cell within the range of that table. When the user clicks search an inputbox is displayed and you can enter any search term you like. if there is a match within the cell range, i want the entire row (and the heading row always at the top) printed into a new sheet to display results. There may be a match in multiple rows, and id like evrery row displayed.

Search Through Rows Of Specific Column

I am trying to develop a macro that does the folllowing

1) Takes the value from a specified column of a sheet in the workbook and sequentually go the the values of that column and compares those values to another sheet in the workbook

For ex: sheet1 in column A row 1 has string value abc123 and sheet2 column A row 1 has value 123abc. I want to compare these two values from different sheets.

2) However if the values don't match I would like to take the value from sheet1 and see if it is in the list on sheet2.

3) If the value from sheet2 isn't on the list from sheet1 then paste that row information to sheet3

So far this is what I have. All it does now is go through both lists and compares the values but I am not sure how to single out those values for conditional formating. I am sure that the singled out values will need to be derived dynamically since I won't know what or when the values will be up for conditional formatting.

Macro To Search Column And Return All Rows Containing Value

I have a workbook that has 2 sheets. The main sheet is titled Data, and the second sheet is titled Archive.

I need a macro that will let me search all of Column A on Sheet2(Archive) and copy all rows whose Column A contains the value I input into Sheet1 B19, and paste it on Sheet1(Data) starting in cell A21. It can replace any information already on those rows on Sheet1 and I want to copy the information from Sheet2 not cut it.

This part isn't necessary but would be great, on Sheet2 in column D there is a Date it would be great to have another macro that would let me pull the same information as above but only pull a certain number of rows starting with the most recent dates.

What I have: (Table1) A table with multiple columns. One column consists of cells that can contain different types of information in a non-consistent way. One thing is for sure: if a cell contains data, it will always contain a name of a person. E.g. a cell in that column could contain the following: "838374987343 based on 98989 John 990999", or "000000000john", or "William 39843984 more text and even more text"

(Table2) A separate table that contains the names of people in a column, e.g. "John", "William"

What I want:A formula that searches for the names (mentioned in Table2) in Table1 and copies this name in a new column.

Result:A new column with the copied names as content.

I have a dataset that is large. I want to write a macro program that checks the number in cell A1, copies the number and then the rows contents to another worksheet/spreadsheet. Then jumps to cell A2 and if the number is different to that of A1 copy the data of that entire row over from that row to the next worksheet/spreadsheet. If the number is the same as A1 then jump over to A3

Then continue this process but rather than comparing it to A1, compare it to the new number that has been found in coloumn A.

For example

7 A
7 A
6 AB
7 A

So starting at the first line then jumping the next one then to 6 and finally 7.

Search Column Bottom Up Then Delete Rows Based On Value Found

I've attached a dummy worksheet that shows constant values of 1.00 in columns D and E. In the actual workbook, user action will sometimes cause these values to change to something other that 1.00. The user may wish to delete the action that caused the change.

I need a macro that will search from the last cell in column D upward to the first instance of a cell that is not equal to 1.00 and select that cell and those immediately above with the same value as the first found cell.

For example, in the attached worksheet the search would start in the last cell of Columd D and search upward. It would find cell D23 and upward to D19. These entire rows would be deleted.

I have a file which has in excess of 12,000 rows of data in 5 columns (sample file attached with fake data). The five rows are:

"First Name" "Last Name" "Name" (uses CONCATENATE to combine column A & B) "Email" "Date Attended"

There will be duplications in the list as people will have attended more than once over the years.
What I want to do is search through the email addresses (Column D with D1 being the header) and where there is a duplicate email address copy the cell to the right of the duplicate (F#) into the next available cell to the right of the first occurance and then delete the row with the duplicated email address.

I am on Windows 7 and Excel 2010

Once this row has been copied, I then want the macro to activate a new sheet and search for the next available empty row to paste the data. Once this has been done, go back to the original sheet and find the next cell in the original column with the specified text string and repeat until the range has been satisfied. search column "E" for a specific text value (let's say "it"). When found, copy the value in column "A" for the corresponding row where "it" was found to another cell "F2". When copying to cell "F2", if a value already exists in cell "F2", then no nothing else copy the value. If no "it" was found in the column, do nothing. I will continue to search, but since I am new to VBA it takes me a bit to find what I specifically need.

Copy Values In Column To Rows

I've tried (and failed miserably!) to copy and then paste values from a COLUMN to a ROW using all sorts of code I'd picked up in the forum but all the code only works when copying and pasting values from ROWS to ROWS.

I have data in cell A1, A3, A5 to A13 on Sheet1 (notice blank cells inbetween) that I'd like to copy to to Cells A2 to M2 (A1 to M1 have headings) on Sheet2, then A3-M3 etc.

The cells on Sheet1 will always be the same, BUT each time I click the "Transfer Data" button, those values must be transferred to Sheet2 IN THE NEXT EMPTY ROW, please.

It is not necessary to skip the blank cells in the COLUMN Sheet1 - simply copy / paste them as empty on Sheet 2 and I'll hide the empty columns, i.e. B, D, etc. If it is easy to code this "skipping of blank cells" (thereby limiting the copying / pasting data in order to speed up the process), then that code would be great - I simply do not know what effect it would have.

The values thus copied will become my data sheet.

I have done so, but now I need to copy those rows indicated by a "No" to another worksheet (ideally I would like to have those rows printed out directly, but I can do that from another worksheet. I have tried AutoFilter and Sort, but that is not giving me what I want or expect. My question is: How do I code a macro to pull those "No" rows and either print them directly or copy to a new worksheet (WorkSheet2)?

In column A I have Product Codes, They start at A3 and go down to A169.

I need to have a formula which i can drag across from CQ3 to DH3 which corresponds in the following manner.

CQ3 = A4
CR3 = A5
CS3 = A6

etc etc.

I then want to be able to copy the formula into another place, eg CQ20 = A21, CR20 = A22 etc

I have a single sheet that lists available items, prices, etc. When doing quotes, you simply put y/n in Col:A for each item. I then want a simple macro that will copy all of the rows with "yes" into a second sheet. Sample data with end result attached.

I did try and butcher this macro to do what I want, and whilst it does copy data across, it's not really working. Firstly as I think it is searching along a row and copy columns, whereas I need to search a column and then copy rows.

I have these specific rows (2,3,4,6,43,44,45,63) which I would like to copy and paste it on a designated sheet. But my problem is, the column varies depending on the YEARS.

I do have codes for it, the one I got from the recording. I just do it for all of the rows (formula pasted here) until all of it copied on the summary sheet. However, when I finally finished it and I run it. I could see the movement form One Sheet to another and its not good.

A code that I could use for my better understanding of MACRO.

I copy rows of data according the Workgroup entries in Column C and paste them in to the relevant team sheet so that it is separated and printed off. Currently I am doing this manually, as the report length is variable and can be a few hundred rows or sometimes a few thousand which takes up some time. I know I can use the auto filter option, but as I currently use a macro to format this report I was hoping to include it whilst it is being formatted. Also would like to apply all borders to report so its easier to read when printed and a comments column at the end, but this can be done later.

There are teams and 27 workgroups to separate into each team, I have to do this everyday and was hoping to save some time here. I've attached a sample work book as an example.

Copy Rows Where No Blanks In Specific Column

I have the attached a workbook (& the code) which merges the worksheets from 7 different workbooks together into a 'Raw data' worksheet in my master workbook. It is driven off a parameters table which allows you to select which workbooks/worksheets you want to include in the merge. - The code works fine however when it is copying the data from each worksheets it is just copying all the data as a 'block' copy where I need it do do it row by row becuase I dont want to copy the row if colum C in each row contains no data, ie. it is blank.

So in my code I need another loop which will: Copy data from column A - E for each row if column C is not blank. Paste into Column B - F in Raw Data worksheet (as column A contains the source filename) Loop until it reaches no more data. I adeeally just want to copy the specific range as above, not the whole row but either will do. This is my code, refer to attachment too which includes master workbook and an data entry workbook where the data comes from.
