Add Addition If Condition To Existing Formula: Long Formula

This task joins a string together based on a number of characters per cell in the range.
I want to isolate one range, Col N, and add an IF condition to it.
There may be other issues preventing this from happening, e.g. the number of IF that exist in the complete formula. I will isolate the current cell and its requirements and then post the entire formula at the end for reference....

I'm preparing Quarterly Evaluations, and am having an issue because an Analyst has superseded an overall percentage goal. In the attached example, it is the overall evaluation with the 'problem data' in red D19 and highlighted.
I'd like to add a condition that limits the points in D19 for 'responsibility 3' to 150.
=IF(ISERROR(C19/B19)*(B10),"-",(C19/B19)*(B10))
*just a note for clarification, the other two responsibilities are a 'per hour' weekly goal, whereas the 3rd is an overall personal effort divided from the overall team effort.

I am a new excel user. I a trying to write a certain formula but am having trouble. I want to write the formula to add a column of numbers, say H-10 through H-15. Each cell will have a number in it, but I want only to add the cells if the cell precedding it in the G-10 through G-15 Collumn is blank. For example if cells G-12 and G-14 have an "X" in them, then I do not want Cells H-12 and H-14 to be added. I only want the formula to add cells H-10,H-11,H-13, and H-15. I used just 6 cells for example, the column of cells to be added will be a lot longer.

I wish to sum specific rows in a spreadsheet as a Grand Total. I eventually end up with a string variable called "GrandTot" that holds "=C3+C13+C25+C31+C39+C50+C53"
This formula is correct, but when I insert it into the spreadsheet it totals zero. Only when I manually write the formula does it recognize the cells it supposed to add. I am very confused as to why this is happening.
On a possibly related note, when I highlight a column in the spreadsheet, the count is including blank cells.

Lets say I have a #2 in cell A1 and #4 in cell B1 and would like an output in C1 as "plus 2".
Right now I have =if(a1>b1,b1-a1,???) what can I put in the [value_if_false] to return "plus 2" or do I have to use another formula?

I would like to know the calculator formula for addition via columns.
Eg 1. If i were to place 135 into Column A ;
12.95 into Column C ;
i would need to yield a result of 147.95
Eg 2. Place 189 into Column A ;
12.95 into Column C
i would need to yield result of 201.95 and so on. in the attachment is the sample file.

I am working on a spreadsheet that matches each cell in Column B (text) with the data (text) in a constant cell; if there is a match, the data that corresponds to the data in Column B (text) will average (Column G, number) using a CSA formula, for example: =AVERAGE(IF($B$3:$B$106=A$110,$G$3:$G$106))
Now the formula above works well, only I have to update the spreadsheet, so when I add new rows the $B$3:$B$106 and $G$3:$G$106 portions are useless.
Trying to use the INDIRECT function that many people successfully use in this forum, produces a #VALUE error,
=AVERAGE(IF(INDIRECT("$B$3:B"&ROW()-4)=A$111,(INDIRECT("$G$3:G"&ROW()-4))))

you guys very kindly helped me with a spreadsheet a couple of months ago, but i now need to adapt it for another dept. I have completed as much as I can.
I need column C and E in the 'totals tab' to only calculate contract and upgrade sales respectively (found in 'service orders' tab). I also need Scott's and ash's individual sales to be calculated in corrisponding tabs. Most of the formulas are in place so just need them tweaked slightley.

In my attached spreadsheet example below, in the Rollup Data sheet, I have a formula (Cell: C17) that will give me the actual cost totals that has been invoiced on WBS Element (DWRRI-BW096-231) for a total of $35,004.81.
What I need the formula do is run a redundant check procedure on my new WBS Element (DWRRI-BW096-231) actual cost total formula in the Rollup Data sheet (Cell: C17) against/vs. what the SAP system provides in the raw SAP Excel export contained in the PTD-Actual Cost sheet for the WBS Element (DWRRI-BW096-231) actual cost total of $35,004.81 (Cell: F9) that's highlighted in the yellow row.
In the Rollup Data sheet (Cell: C18), I need this formula to perform a similar function the as the previous formula above it (Cell: C17), but it this formulas function (Cell: C18) would have a separate operation that would only look for and return the single/sole WBS Element (DWRRI-BW096-231) actual cost total contained in the PTD-Actual Cost sheet (Cell: F9).
In the Rollup Data sheet I could then compare my two WBS Element (DWRRI-BW096-231) actual costs totals, the first from the automated addition of all the individual matching WBS Element actual costs into an actual cost total (Cell: C17), the second (new formula I'm requesting) from the matching and return function of the single/sole WBS Element actual cost total (Cell: C18).
So, if the two separate WBS Element actual cost totals (Cells: C17 vs. C18) both equal $35,004.81, the formula in C17 is a success and has correctly identified and added all the actual costs contained in the PTD-Actual Cost sheet, but if the two separate WBS Element actual cost totals (Cells: C17 vs. C18) both do not equal $35,004.81, the formula in C17 failed for some reason and has not correctly identified and added all the required actual costs contained in the PTD-Actual Cost sheet.

I currently use the following formula: =workday(H21,H23,J20:J34) which calculates my date based the date entered in cell H21. While testing I realized that I needed to add another variable to the formula for a specific scenario. When my Date in H21 is less than todays date I require another workday formula to be calculated. How can I add this if statement to the existing formula?

I need to add more arguments to a countif formula, but I have maxed out the 1024 character limit.
Is there another way of writing this formula or is there a way I can add more arguments to this formula.
Formula is:

I have a list of the arguments, can I do something like:

Got a formula that goes like this: =IF((L1=1),"Product 1",IF((L2=2),"Product 2",IF((L2=3),"Product 3",IF((L2=4),"Product 4".... and so on for a further 100 or so products. Obviously, this formula is too long for one cell.

Is there a work around to pull data from cells in excel to another tab with standard language? For example the template language will stay the same except in example A's case the last sentence "0.0" hrs will vary based what's sitting in B34.
It's stating the formula is too long. Is there too much text?
Sometimes the link would be in the middle of the text as shown in example B below with dates 00/00/00.

( about 2-3 paragraphs worth) I'm trying to replace a name with another name, which works fine where the cell contains a single or few sentences, but fails to replace when the cell contains too much information.

I manage to use formula find for 1 text in 1 statement, but in confuse how to get another text found if i have "8 text" to find. Generally, there will only be "1 text" for each statement.
Maybe in 1 statement there have only "IC" or "Staff Tagging" or Name" or "Product" or etc till 8.

I am working on using an excel workbook as part of a roll playing game and I am trying to record a macro and then put that in a command button which uses the randbetween, multiple if statements and multiple vlookup functions. I have successfully done similar things by just recording a macro and then pasting that into the VB editor. However this time I get a unable to record macro after putting the formula in the selected cell. I have tried copy and paste and just typing the formula with the same results.
Upon executing the formula I then want it to copy and paste special- values the result.
I'm assuming I have to put the VB code in manually but when I tried to do the formula I got a syntax error.
The worksheet I am working on is named new and I've included the formula in the a text box. I would like the result to show in J12 and be triggered by pressing the cmnbutton in k12.

I am using the below formula to distinctly count the number of customers that match the criteria that I have in Cells C7 and B10. The data is in a separate worksheet, that I am showing Named Detail of which will be changing on a monthly basis, so a pivot table does not want to be used. The detail data ranges from row 7-40,000, and the file is currently 8610KB's, and can potentially grow.
=SUM(IF(FREQUENCY(IF(Detail!$A$7:$A$40000=C$7,IF(Detail!$B$7:$B$40000=$B10,IF(Detail!$D$7:$D$40000<> "",MATCH(Detail!$D$7:$D$40000,Detail!$D$7:$D$40000,0)))),ROW(Cust)-MIN(ROW(Detail!$D$7:$D$40000))+1),1))
This formula works but takes an excessive amount of time for one caluclation, and I need this for multiple column and row critera. So, can this calculation be changed in order to get the same result with faster calculation time? I am using Excel 2003.
