Comparing 2 Identical Numbers Returns False

I have some problem with my data here. I have created a formula to compare the numeric value between the column. I want to have the results in the column but the results I have is wrong. Did i did something wrong with the formula?
I wanna compare the value from A2 and C2, B2 and D2. If the results is correct, then is will display true value in e2 else will display false value in e2.
when i compare 2.3oz and 2.25oz, the value displayed is true which is wrong, it should display "false"

In my current worksheet, IF(0 = "CS") returns TRUE, but on any other file this same argument returns FALSE. The cells' formats are both general. I want it to be FALSE.

I have calculated the t values then i have three tables for 3 confidence levels, 0.01, 0.05,0.1 in which I compare the t value with the value from the
t-test table. If the t value is larger it returns a 1, if not a 0. This works fine.
To summarise the information I have a final table which I wish to return the highest significance of the given t value.
I am using this
=IF((G53=1),0.01,(IF(G44=1,0.05,(IF(G35=10,0.05,"none")))))
the problem I have is it always returns 0.01 even if g53=0. If i remove the formula from g53 and replace it with a 0, it returns 0.05 instead (even if g44 is retruning a 0).
I have considered copy paste values and doing this but that rather removes the automation aspect of the spreadsheet if I need to make adjustments.

if Statement A: =IF(M4>$B$17,0,LOOKUP(M4,$AA$20:$AB$29)*$B$15/12) works very well
if Statement B: =IF(M4>$B$17,0,LOOKUP(M4,$AA$36:$AB$44)*$B$15/12) works well too
now I am trying to say
=IF('Input Page'!B36="yes",(IF(M4>$B$17,0,LOOKUP(M4,$AA$36:$AB$44)*$B$15/12),(IF(M4>$B$17,0,LOOKUP(M4,$AA$20:$AB$29)*$B$15/12))))
Basically, if B36 is yes, use If Statement B, otherwise IF Statement A. If I write Yes, I get a "Value" error, if I change the yes to 1, I get a FALSE error.

I've been asked to adjust some thing with a worksheet someone else created. On the sheet labeled "Criteria" there is a list of dates and some formulas that use these dates. I can't figure out why the result of the formula is a number, i.e "0"; I thought it is supposed to return "TRUE" or "FALSE". If I insert a new sheet, within the same workbook, and insert the same formula, I get "TRUE" or "FALSE". For some reason, the "Criteria" worksheet doesn't return "TRUE" or "FALSE", it returns numbers. I just need to know why this is happening so I can replicate it in the new workbook I'm creating.

I have a worksheet called "Raw Data" where in columns J, I and G contain values. I would like to write a formula whereby if all 3 conditions are met, it will count the number of values found in column C.
I've tried to write an IF statement but it just returns FALSE, despite the result being true. Need the right combination of IF/AND statements that would do this?
=IF(AND('Raw Data'!$J:$J="Maintenance",'Raw Data'!$I:$I="Open",'Raw Data'!$G:$G="1-2008"),COUNT('Raw Data'!$C:$C)). I've tried to attach the workbook, but there's a problem with uploading attachments I think. Sorry if my explanation is unclear.

The above is an example of two sheets where in Column "C" i need the formula, if sheet1 A Row 1 = sheet2 A row 2 and sheet1 B Row 1 = sheet2 B row 2 then the value should be ture or false.
=IF(AND(a2=sheet1!a1,b2=sheet1!a2), "true", "false")
I'm getting the answer for this. But if i tried to compare all the three conditions in sheet 1 it is not working.
I used count If as below,
=IF(AND(COUNTif(a2=sheet1!a1,b2=sheet1!a2)>=1,COUNTif(a2=sheet1!b1,b2=sheet1!b2)>=1),"Complaint","Non")
This is Not working. Please suggest the Correct formula.

I have two columns with hundreds of identical data and i need to match in column A with an identical data in column B.
The tricky thing is there are many identical data. Each identical data needs to match with another identical data in column B and then, remove matched data.
So, i need to display whats left unmatched in column A and in column B.Match Identical Data.xlsx
Here is an example:
Column A

200
300
400
100
Column B
400
200
300
100
500
Ending results should be showing unmatched "Column A: 100" & "column B:500"

I have numbers from -50 to 50 going down column C. In column D, I want to enter a formula which will convert each number to a TRUE or FALSE. How do I do that?
I believe 1 = TRUE and everything else = FALSE, but I would like to know how to get that with a formula.

I was wondering if someone can at least point me in the right direction with respect to comparing two numbers within a value in two different cells. For example:
If one cell has the value "AB123456"
And the cell below it has a value of "AB124658"
I want to be able to determine the difference (with VBA code) between both cells by just looking at the fourth and fifth characters ("23" and "24", respectively) in each cell value.

I want Excel to compare two columns of numbers. Column R has 1000 entries,
beginning with the number 1 and ending with the number 1000. Column S will
have from approx. two hundred to as many as six or seven hundred entries,

I have a list of numbers which I need to compare to a range of numbers. Each number in the list needs to be compared to the range, and depending where it falls within the range, a particular cell needs to be referenced in the result. I've attached the xls with the explanation.
I was going to do this with a nested IF, but with a max of 7 this will not work.

I am trying to solve is as follows, I have groups of 20 numbers in columns, one per column and would like to compare the groups to determine if any group is duplicated on another line.
I had been looking at using VBA to copy the numbers to an array, sort from lowest to highest, concatenate and use that to compare each group. If possible however if there is a suitable formula it would be preferable.
I have attached a small sample to illustrate.

I have 3 departments, each with a value. I want to sort from lowest value to greatest (which I have done) but some departments won't have a value and therefore will have "n/a" in the place of the value. When sorting, "n/a" always comes out as the greatest value but I want "n/a" to be the lowest value - since it means there is no value.
Here is an example of the data:
Depts: Value:
580 15.75
558 19.01
538 n/a
Here is the code (sorting is being done on the value obviously, and the switching of the Depts to stay with the value is also done in the code)

I have 2 columns i want to find out which items match in each column and put the matching value in column c. I have tried Vlookup and continue to get an N/A .. I tried countif and I get either an N/A or a value error. I have tried turning the cells into text but that is not working either..
column A has about 1700 rows and column B has about 4000
MOST CELLS ARE 6-7 VARIABLES.. satrting with either 01, 02, 03 with 4-5 letters following or have a 6 digit number or 6 letter value.

I have a nice case to prepare and need weekly riskfree interest returns on the UK treasury bond. Right now I have daily returns and want to convert them into weekly. The problem is, weeks do not always contain five trading days. How can I turn my data into weekly average riskfree interest returns?

I am trying to Sum lines of info with "True or False" and "Yes and No". I would like to assign 1 to True and Yes and 0 to False and No when I total the rows. Never tried this in Excel, on Lotus and the formula does not work. I can find and replace, but I would like to be able to use a formula.

I have three large txt files. All three are the same number of columns but are of a different number of rows. (Each month the number of columns will increase but the 3 source files will still contain an equal number).
Therefore I need to open the first text file, select all data and paste it into my master file.
I then want to open the second txt file and paste all the data at the first empty row of my master file.
I will then open the third txt file and paste all the data at the first empty row of the master file.
Finally I will close the txt files.
I will then have several other amendments to make to the master data file.
So to my problem....
Opening the txt files is fine.
However I want to select all the data in the first txt file but excel gives me an error message. (On the line highlighted in my code). I remember there being a function in VBA that selects all data around a cell, can anyone remember how to do this?
My code so far is:
