Comparing Two Columns On Different Worksheets And Adding Rows Where Matches Occur

Essentially what I want to automate is a check through one list on the Sheets("Notes") in column A, with another column B on Sheets(template). If there is a match I want to insert a part of the row that the match occurred on Sheet("Notes"), and insert it above the row where the match occurred on Sheets(template).
Here is my code so far, currently I keep getting a "Application-defined or object defined error" on the line

I have two columns of card numbers (16 digits) in text format, as column A and column B. In column C, I'm trying to figure out how to compare column A and B for matches, and display the match in column C, if there is a hit.
I know there is a forumla to compare a small database to a list, but can't find it (I used to use French Excel).
Here is an example :
In a sheet, my small database :
(in two different cells)
Value1 and ValueA Value2 and ValueB Value3 and ValueC
etc...
In another sheet, my list :
I have a list where there's a lot of Value1, Value2... in one column, and in the next column, a lot of ValueA, ValueB....
I want to check in my list : if I have Value1, then, on the same row (next column) I have ValueA, if I have Value2, then, I should have in the same row (next column) ValueB....
And if I have Value1 and in the same row (next colum) ValueB, I want some kind of "Error" text.
Can't find this function nor (of course) the criteria to use it correctly.
Need a excel macro which can compare 2 xls files and highlight cells which are different in the 2 files its like a slightly advanced one >a prompt which asks file 1 after selecting file a prompt whichasks for file 2 ..then on running it should highlight cells in file two which are different from file one Both file have same layout ie if file one has n columns in n worksheets file 2 will also have same . So the comparison should be done for each worksheet in both file and cells should be highlighted ..
I am looking for a macro to look in Sheet 1 column A and compare the values to Sheet 2 column O. When it finds a duplicate I want it to delete the entire row in sheet 1. I dont want to have to manually sort anything if that's possible.
I'm trying to compare 2 worksheets with the same headers(NAME, ADDRESS, CONTACT NO...). What codes should I use that when there is a duplicated row in worksheet A and worksheet B, it will be deleted and when there are 2 names with different addresses and/or contact no, the whole row in file A will be obtained. Output should also be in another worksheet. It goes like this.

I would like to match column data in a source spreadsheet to column data in a target sheet. If a match is found, I would like to copy the corresponding row range from the source sheet to a separate, third sheet. For values where no match in found in the a target sheet, I would color the unmatched cell in the target sheet red. If a match was found, the cells would be colored green. The data in the Source sheet is in column A, while the Data in the Target sheet is in Column T. The data will be pased in the third sheet in Column T preserving original formats
I have this code, gleaned from several postings on this forum that somewhat works. The problem is that I get false mismatches (i.e. some cells get colored red even when there is a match and the data got copied to the third sheet) even though there are no duplicates. I have made sure that the formats are identical in both Target and Source sheets to try to fix this. Also, I don't want to cut the entire row , but just copy and paste a row range onto a third sheet. The column and row ranges are variable. I am attaching a file.!!

I am facing a problem in evaluating a problem. I am referencing from the screenshot of excel file. I want to replace the values of Column-C for which column-A matches with column -G. And, the remaining will remain same.
I have two groups of lottery results. The first group has the last year results of 200 rows, and the second group displays this year results of 100 rows. I want to start comparing the first row of the second group (green group) with all the rows of the first group( blue group)
I'm new to macros and VBA so I am wondering if it is possible for a macro to compare values in column B of sheet2 and column B of sheet3 and for the values that DON'T match i.e. unique values to column B of sheet2, copy row from sheet2 to sheet4? This will aid my processing time drastically if I can copy all the rows from sheet 2 to sheet 4 where the model number in column B of sheet 2 doesn't appear in column B of sheet 3!!
I have a macro that would check data in Column A and validate if a particular number is repeating, then for that number go to column B, Take the Values from there go to a new sheet and paste the values in a row.

I'm using a workbook that has one sheet that pulls data from all the others, displaying a series of rows that summarizes data from each worksheet, each of which is full of data. Its a worksheet that a lot of people use so its kind of tedious to use as of now, because whenever you add a new worksheet of data you have to manually create a row and then manually change all the worksheet references. Is there a way to make rows automatically add and update when a new worksheet is added? I know it would probably have involve some sort of Macro or VBA.
I have a spreadsheet with over 15 columns showing drivers (names numbers etc) and their duties with more inf.
What I need is to be able to find when a certain type of driver in column A (drivers belong to different rutes) say from route A is at rest (this is shown as RD) which is shown in column B and then be able to count how many times those two exact events occur.
I have data exported as .txt from an external program in the following format:
Sample Name Marker Allele1 Allele 2 ....Allele n AAA D8S1358 10 11 XX AAA D16S539 16 19 XX and so on.
Each "Sample Name" will have 16 different "Marker"s and upto 10 different "Allele" at each "Marker". There could be upwords of 200 Sample Names on each exported sheet. Is there a simple way to compare all of the data from each "Sample Name" to each other and possibly to another sample set that will always be static but of the sample general makup as this?
I have two tables. Table A has 13 columns and 641 rows. Table B is in a different tab within my excel file but is only one column with 216 rows. Starting with Table A I need it to look up for the value in Table B. If the the value is matched, meaning they appear in both tables, I want the cell highlighted in Table A.
I have a huge lists of names that I need to work with. The first is a list of all employees. The second is a list of those employees who have submitted their monthly report. In theory every record should be a match. I need to compare the lists and mark the people who are missing their monthly report in the main list of all employees.
Not sure how to set this up in Excel

With that template through macro values are extracting to consolidated report. Some times program owners are adding extra columns/rows with that we are getting errors/incorrect reports.
I have a single workbook with 55 worksheets. I need to delete rows #1-14, then delete columns A & B on all worksheets. The macro below seems to be running in a loop which appears to delete rows 1-14 and columns A & B until there is no more data left on the active sheet only. It does not run on any of the other sheets - even if I select all sheets before running the macro.
I'm using Conditional Formatting for an entire column to check the value of each cell and compare it to the value of a cell in the same row but a different column. (Cell Value equals =$D2) It works great until I insert or delete a cell in the formatted column. The reference does not change as one would expect. I've played around with formulae such as =$D2<>$P2 but the reference only changes for the P2, not the D2. I've also tried using =CELL("contents", ADDRESS(Row(),4)) but this causes excel to complain.

how would i write a function that would compare each value under column 'a' to each value under column 'b' and then return a value of 1 if they are equal, and return a value of 0 if they are not equal, then add up the return values.
(comparing column 'a' with 'b' you would get a result of 3.) then have the function continue on to compare column 'a' with column 'c'..'d; comparing column 'b'..'d', etc

Sheet 2 in the attached sample workbook (without all the pre-existing formula's from the original) contains data that I paste in (Cols A to D).
Sheet 1 then searches that data (minus Col D) from Sheet 2 and returns "Yes" to Col I if matching data is found.
What I would like to do now is if Sheet 1 returns "Yes" then the corresponding value from Sheet 2 would be returned to Sheet 1 Col J.
So in this example the value "5" would be returned to Sheet 1 Cell J1
I already have all the formulas in place to find the matches and return "Yes", this is just to return the additional information from Col D Sheet 2 to Sheet 1 Col J..
I have Master sheet where I collect info from sub sheets. All sheets are similarly formatted, ie. product numbers on column A and headers on row 2. I need to sum values from all sheets based product number and header. Master sheet includes all product numbers and some extra headers, sub sheets include only needed numbers. Headers on sub sheets are identical.
Currently I have this thing solved with following formula:
But problem with this is that column is hard coded, so I have to know that that value I am looking for is in column L. That wouldn't be show stopping problem on its own, but I have columns all the way to DR and copying formulas for each column takes a lot of time when I have to manually update each column. Just copying cell holds that L:L and doesn't change it.
So, in addition of getting values for specific product number I need to get values from specific column based on column header.
have been trying to write a VB macro to compare two spreadsheets. Here is what I need help achieving....
Compare Sheet1 and Sheet2. Data exists in rows that have a unique identifier in one column.
If unique ID (with row of data) exists in Sheet1 and NOT Sheet2, add row from Sheet1 to Sheet3 and mark "REMOVE" in new column next to row.
If unique ID (with row of data) exists in Sheet2 and NOT in Sheet1, add row from Sheet2 to Sheet 3 and mark "ADD" in new column next to row.
If unique ID (with row of data) exists in both Sheet1 and Sheet2, take row from Sheet2 and place in Sheet3 and mark "UPDATE" in new column next to row.
Worksheet 1 has 200 rows, Worksheet 2 has 500 rows. Common denomentor in column A. Please advise how I can get 200 rows from w/s 1 pulling the relevant data from both worksheets into a new worksheet
Each Worksheet contains a different number of rows, approx 4,000.
Column A for each of the above Worksheets is, however, the same and contains an alphanumeric string called "Accession ID".
I have been tasked with extracting the entire row of data for each "Accession ID" which appears on at least 2 Worksheets, and then compile them in a new "Summary" Worksheet.
So, for example, if one of the Accession IDs was "ABC123" and it appeared on all four of the Worksheets; the Summary Worksheet would contain the 18 Columns from the row on which "ABC123" appeared in "Set A", the 47 Columns from the row on which "ABC123" appeared in "Set B", the 47 Columns from "Set C" and the 11 from "Set D" all on different rows.
I tried toying with VLOOKUPs etc, but given there are four Worksheets, and in order to qualify the Accession ID must only appear on a minimum of two Worksheets - it quickly become a mess.
Is there any way of being able to do this as a macro perhaps?
I have an excel file with some data in it. I have two columns with one of four words in it. For simplicity I'll call them RED, GREEN, BLUE, and Yellow. A few columns over I have columns "Same" "Good" and "Bad". I'm trying to figure out a way to get excel to put a 1 in the appropriate column, if cell A1 is Red I need excel to look at the word in cell B2 and put a 1 in the "same" column if A1 and B1 are the same word. If the word in B2 is Yellow I need excel to put a 1 in the "Good" column. If the word in B1 is GREEN or BLUE I need it to put a 1 in the bad column. The tricky part is each of the four words RED, GREEN, BLUE, and Yellow have a different set of words that will be called "good" or "bad". So if the word in cell A1 if Green for example it will have a different set of good and bad color words.
So it seems I need four different functions depending on what word is in A1. In the column next to these lists of words I have the date which I'll need to use to give me the sums of same, good, and bad for each day. But first things first. I think I need to use a combination of IF functions and MATCH function, but I can't figure out anything that works. Below is what I'm hoping it will look like when I've got the right formulas.
