FREQUENCY Formula - Get Total Highest Intervals Of Zeros In A Range?

I use the following CSA formula to give me the total highest intervals of zeros in a range. I understand how most of it works apart from one thing and that's how the data array and bins array give me the result.
H2:Y2=0 - Returns TRUE/FALSE in the array based on range having 0 or a value other than that - ie{TRUE,TRUE,TRUE,FALSE,FALSE,FALSE,FALSE,FALSE,FALSE,TRUE,TRUE,TRUE,TRUE,TRUE,TRUE,TRUE,TRUE,TRUE}
COLUMN(H2:Y2) - Returns the column number {8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,20,21,22,23,24,25}
IF(H2:Y2=0,COLUMN(H2:Y2)) -Returns the column number for every TRUE value
IF(H2:Y2>0,COLUMN(H2:Y2)) - This does the same as the above steps but returns column numbers for every cell that contains a value greater than 0
MAX - Returns the biggest number within the array ie =MAX({3;0;0;0;0;0;9}) would return 9
What I need to know is how the FREQUENCY formula gives {3;0;0;0;0;0;9}
Formula to show the final/total a numeric values appears in an adjacent column.
I am currently attempting (I've researched many posts on this), to count /show the final totals a duplicate numeric value appears in one column, in an adjacent column (example below).
I am currently using an array Frequency formula below (courtesy of the board) filled down in column Q. this works well to count the frequency of duplicate numeric values appear on the list.

However my aim is also to show the final entry of a numeric value in adjacent column R, by displaying text to indicate this. My example below shows “final” in column R
NB: My list is sorted by column C to ensure all numeric values are in ascending order.

I need a formula that can lookup the sell price with the highest frequency. For example, I need to look up item 2100 in sheet2 and sheet1 contain data for vlookup like this:
i want my formula to look up the highest value from a range (the =max column), then return a name in the leftmost column. What it actually is, is a player of the month for fantasy football. Each week the player gets a score, then each month, a total of four weekly scores. i want to look up who scored the most and return the player name to me. see the attachment.
I have a range of 30 cells in a row. From that row there are groups of cells that have data that might be 1-7 cells populated in a row and in between these groups are blank cells in the row. I need to see what is the highest number of cells in a continuous row that contain data, what the mode is for continuous cell counts, and what is the average value for the data from the continuous cells. The average is a nice to have but not entirely necessary as most cell data will be fairly similar and I can get a close enough average just by knowing the average number of cells that contain data in a row. I have to do this calculation for about 1000 rows of individual data so its important a formula fit in one row.
Almost need a count function to count starting with each cell and then stopping at the first no no value it finds. Then it would show those counts and I could run a formula to pick the highest count and also show the mode of counts.
I will let the experts at it!, my weak mind could not think this one through. I thought something to do with MATCH for a while but no go from what I could do.
I need a cell formula that will (a) identify the highest N values in an above specified column range, (b) color the interior of those N cells (I suspect that this is not possible), and most importantly (c) return the average value of N corresponding cells, where the corresponding cells are located on the same rows as the identified N high value cells but in a specified column to the left (not necessarily adjacent)
Does anybody know what this formula would look like?

I am trying to add a leading zero to sum up the total time spent on a project. the data came back in this format :00:00 which does not allow me to sum up. I changed the format to HH:MM:SS but that did not add the zero.
I have certain cells in column A2:A22 that have names of people. I want a formula in Cell A23 that gives me a total of how many names are in that range. I know this is simple, but how do I put my criteria that if a cell is not blank to count it?
The aim is to find those combinations of variable values which generate highest total gain. I attached the spreadsheet which shows the variables (A through K) and a Gain column. I created 5 additional tabs which show all possible 2,3,4 and 5-member combinations of the variables. These tabs are like coordinates of which variable combinations should be examined. As an example I used the first combination from the second tab = A and B. If you look at these two columns on the EXAMPLE CALCULATION tab you will see 7,7 in the Number combination which is the first number pair for these two variables. The headings of the red and the yellow columns calculate the total count for this number pair and the total gain. These were recorded on a separate EXAMPLE RESULTS tab along with some other pairs which appear afterwards (these were recorded only from the first 39 rows of the AB data). I need a macro which will cycle through each variable pair (only using the combinations from the tab 2 for now, annd later from 3,4 and 5 tabs) collecting statistics for each unique number combination it encounters (printing to a separate sheet one after one), such as shown on the EXAMPLE RESULTS.
One or more sales promoters can be rostered at shopping centre locations performing full shifts and half shifts.
How can count the unique dates associated with the shopping centre using a Start date and an End date? Example below.

I have ID in column A and amounts in column B. ID's are duplicated, and I need to add amounts based on ID, so for example total of ID 156 should be $13,851.14 or 156 should be 7,290.63.
In the following example ID are in order, I need a formula that adds up the amounts in column C.
I hope someone can help me with adding an additional criterion to the formula below, which works and provides an accurate answer. The array formula is:
Where Column O has either a date or is blank. Where Column B has a unique ID number which occurs more than once.
What I need to add is one more criteria from Sheet1, Where Column P has a unique names which occurs more than once.
I tried two changes: 1. Adding an additional IF statement as follows: SUM(IF(FREQUENCY(IF('Sheet1'!$P$5:$P$315=A$8,IF('Sheet1'!$O$5:$O$315="", ... Which I couldn't get to take; and 2. Adding a IF AND statement as follows: SUM(IF(FREQUENCY(IF(AND('Sheet1'!$P$5:$P$315=A$8,'Sheet1'!$O$5:$O$315=""), ... Which took but gives me a #VALUE error.
im using this formula =FREQUENCY(Sheet1!B1:B100,A2:A11) to calculate the the frequency of my data from B1 to B100. I would like to know how i can insert the Index formula into the formula above so i can get the frequency of the first 100 rows even if i add rows.
I have a list of names in C1 down that I want to count. There could be hundreds of names in C1 and I don't want to sumif all of them. There must be a simpler solution
I have a report which has a list of customers, each customer has 24 columns which represent the payment history over 24 months. If a payment has been made for that month the date and time (formatted correctly) will be populated in this cell.
Each customer has a product name attached to it so a product can appear several times. I need is a formula that shows the total payments recieved for a particular month for a particular product. For example.
I have managed to create the following flag which works a treat, it picks up a date an account was set up but looks at 1 column.
In an employee attendance file I am trying to count the number of times an employee has taken 3 or more days of leave together (continuously) in a month. My attendance file looks something like this

In the example above E001 has taken 3 continuous days leave twice so formula should return 2, for E002 & E003 the answer would be 1 each.
I am using the below formula to distinctly count the number of customers that match the criteria that I have in Cells C7 and B10. The data is in a separate worksheet, that I am showing Named Detail of which will be changing on a monthly basis, so a pivot table does not want to be used. The detail data ranges from row 7-40,000, and the file is currently 8610KB's, and can potentially grow.
This formula works but takes an excessive amount of time for one caluclation, and I need this for multiple column and row critera. So, can this calculation be changed in order to get the same result with faster calculation time? I am using Excel 2003.
number for item detail level from category standpoint. For example, in the category sheet has total number per category and per month and in the item detail sheet has a list of item number with category. I have a single column of numerical values that may repeat many times within the column.
I require a flexible Formula: Use an Input Cell for the specified and changeable Percentage(s) %. Column may be filtered so only take into account Visible Filtered Cells.
The Formula will calculate and Return the numerical range of values that fall between the specified percentage % (using the Input Cell) e.g.; 70%.
The Formula should Return two numeric values: a Start Value and an End Value NOT necessarily the minimum and maximum per se BUT the MIN and MAX of the values that appear 70% of the time in the column; therefore, taking into account Repeat / Duplicate values.
The calculated Results: the two numeric values will be returned to separate cells on a new Sheet.

with the data in the attached sheet, I create several different pivot tables that need show the count of the information in the columns M:DU. My issue is that the data is sent to me from a third party and the columns contain zeros that cause the counts to inflate.
What I would like to be able to do is run a macro that will search out any zeros in M:DU and replace them with a blank cell.
Unfortunately the number of rows increases with every monthly reporting cycle so the macro would need to be able to accommodate for that.
I have a large spreadsheet of data that contains 3 columns: Columns are Name, Revision, # of items. I want to find the # of items for the highest revision for each name. List looks like this:
Basically I want to get the highest value in a cell from a range of cells on another sheet within the same spreadsheet...... The problem is that the values in the range of cells I want it to look up are not just straight values but rather the summary of two other cells as follows:-
=IF(BN5<"",BO5&" - "&BP5,"") which means that the Values in the cells that the formula needs to search will read something like:- "1250 - B Builder"
Also, cell BN5 is where the archers 3rd highest score gets entered and as such only at this point in time do they 'qualify' for the Standings Table Sheet.....
Then, with luck I can look for the second highest score in the next cell down from looking at the same range and so on and so on.....
In the attached sheet, I'm trying to get excel to return the top 5 values in an array, based on the preceding cell. This example is for a Football League, in which the QBs, RBs and WRs all have different salaries. The objective is to return the salaries of the top 5 paid people in each. Don't need to return the name, just the salary amount, so that an average can then be taken to figure future salaries.
Is it possible to highlight the highest value within a given range in that particular cell ? Example: I have a range of value from cells A1 to A10. The highest value is in cell A3. Can I make cell A3 highlighted in colour red?
